A few days later, in an open field next to a lake, Ryan and his teammates are training. Right now, the team is sitting down as their master talks to them. "Alright, today, training will go up against a gargoyle."
"That easy," Ryan said.
"Yea, they are like us, but with wings and tail," Rong said.
Skah looks at the two. You both know that they are related to the dragons and live in the Dragon Realm as well.
"We should go up against a dragon instead," Rong said, and Ryan agrees.
Skah shook his head. "Oh, I love it when my students get cocky," he said, smirking.
Then someone lands on the ground by them and walks up to them. It is a gargoyle with green skin, wings, a human-like face, a long tail with two spikes at the end. The gargoyle has long black hair, and his eyes are very dark. "Morning," he said, walking up to them.
"Morning, Drakon, thank you for coming to help with the training," Skah greets his friend and looks back to his students. "This is Drakon; he'll be your training teacher for today. He is a former teammate of mine, and you four are going up against him."
The boys smile, thinking it will be easy. "So, do you want to do one on one or four on one?"
Ryan stands up and steps forward, and his eyes turn green. "I am ready," he said, and everyone else went to the side.
"Ryan Sioux, right," Ryan nodded. "Skah has told me about you. Let see how well you do against me."
Ryan smirk and charges into an attack. Ryan jumped up and did a flying side-kick, but Drakon dodges it, and Ryan land on his feet. Ryan spins kick and got block by Drakon. Drakon grabs Ryan's leg and throws him to the side. Ryan land on his hands and flips over and land on his feet. He turns around, ready to attack, but Drakon was gone. Then he turns around and blocks a tail whip from Drakon. Ryan grabs hold of Drakon's tail and tosses him to the side, into the ground. But once Drakon hit the ground, his body burst into a gust of wind. "A Wind Clone," Ryan said.
Ryan turns around to see if he is coming up behind him, but nope. He looks around and quickly jumps away from where he was standing. Drakon blasted from the ground where Ryan was just standing. Drakon land on the ground and slam his hand onto the ground. "Field Summoning: Windy Trees," the ground underneath them glow white light.
Then many tall, thin trees blast from the ground into the air. Most of them are like pine trees, and some are red oak. Both Drakon and Ryan are now standing on top of the trees. Ryan looks around and see they fall up high. "What the? It's a Field Summon Technique, and he summoned a field for his skills."
"That right, Ryan," Drakon said from a nearby tree. "Now, we are going to play in the sky, and let see how well you'll do."
"But I don't do any Wind Element techniques," Ryan said. "And I don't have wings as you do."
"So you can't make wings out of fire," Drakon said, and Ryan nodded.
"I don't think my dad ever done that as well," Ryan answers.
Drakon jumps up and opens his wings wide, and flies. He heads for Ryan, and Ryan got ready to defend himself. Then Ryan feels a gust of wind blowing at him and sees that Drakon is riding the wind. Drakon spins as he closes his wings to make himself look like a spinning drill. He comes in super-fast, and Ryan did an x-Block to block the attack. But the hit pushes him off of the tree. As Ryan falls, he quickly grabs a tree branch and climbs upon it. He sees Drakon coming around to attack him again. Ryan feels another gust of wind blowing. Ryan tries to think of a way to use the wind to attack Drakon. So far, the wind has been blowing back at Ryan. Then Ryan realizes something and smiles. Drakon notices Ryan is smiling. He grabbed a dagger from his pouch and got ready to slash Ryan. Drakon channels some wind energy into his blade. "Wind of a Thousand Slices." he swings his blade and many slivers of wind blast toward Ryan.
Ryan jumped up and put his hands together. But the winds hit him and send him back into a tree. His body and the tree got slice all over the place. Then Ryan's body burst into flame, and Drakon land on a branch of a tree nearby. He looks around and can feel the wind changing its course. He feels heat in the wind and realizes something. He took off and the branch he was standing on burn up. He notices that all the branches that are being hit by the wind are getting burned up. Like they are becoming flames and Drakon looks around. Then a few more branches nearby catch on fire as well. He realizes the plan that Ryan might be planning. He went up to the top of the trees and looked around. Ryan has made Drakon notice more flames from some branches of the trees. He quickly went up higher and stopped and claps his hands together. "Yo, Drakon, can you find where I am?" Ryan calls out.
Drakon ignored and took a deep breath. Then he unleashes a massive blast of water from his mouth on the trees. He sprays at the trees to hit the fire. Then he lands on a tree after he finishes spraying the area. "If you were planning on using the Elemental Translocation Technique, you can't now," Drakon calls out.
"Nope, I still can't use that technique yet," Ryan calls out. "I was just trying to see when the wind changes and which way it goes. I could follow its path and how long it takes to change its course. I already got just enough information I needed. This field you summoned it for those that can make wings or have wings. One of my uncles has told me about it. It can control wind currents. It will move all the time, and those have used this before know the time, where the currents change. My Uncle Trowa Senior has taught me what I must use to follow the Wind. I have to count how long the changes are and which way is the most common direction it goes."
Drakon smiles, "Wow, you are smart, and I guess you have very smart uncles. But can you beat me?" he claps his hands together and releases the field technique. The area went back to normal, and Ryan land on the ground next to the lake. Drakon land on the ground and face Ryan. "Skah, should we continue, or is this good?"
"This is good," Skah answers as he and the rest of the team walk up to them. "Ryan, that was a good job, and can someone tell me what this was for?"
"To teach us to learn to fight against elements of nature that oppose to ours," Rutger said.
"Good job, and I want you four to learn that there are battles you will have to be ready. There are many types of fields, and you must be ready for what it might have. Like if Ryan or Rutger were in the middle of a field that is mostly water. They can hardly use any fire element moves. Which is why you must be ready-to-use something different," Skah said.
"So if Yuri and I were in a location that has less air or something. We need to come up with a new way to win the fight?" Rong asks.
"If you can generate wind type technique without using much that is around you," Skah said.
Drakon said that the same was true for different beings. "Mine is Wind, and I need to make sure I can use what I can get. Sometime you must use the wind that nature has for us to use. So like if you use earth, and someone trapped you in an area mostly metal. Try to figure out how to fight in it."
"So today's lesson is to learn how to adapt to our oppose element," Ryan said, and Drakon nodded. "But wind makes fire stronger; it wasn't my element weakness."
"Right, but you noticed how the wind kept heading for you most of the time. If you use a fire blast, the fire will go back at you and burn you. You are basely helping the enemy beat you. So any element that is weak to yours can sometimes become stronger. A weak element can become strong against the elements it normally weak against."
"What if we did teamwork in that field?" Rutger asks.
"Well, you four would have to communicate with each other when you are far from each other," Skah said.
"What if we use an Elemental Crafting Technique to communicate with each other?" Rong asks.
"You can try, but it will be hard to do. You need to figure how to use Constructs Crafting Technique, then you can put your element into it," Skah answers. "I can already use energy for that, and so can Drakon."
"All you need to do is learn the energy first and then add your element to it. Figure out how and then on your way to mastering an element. Or you can always make something that will help you contact your teammates," Drakon said.
Skah notices the time. "Ok, that is all for training today. We'll pick it up tomorrow when we go on a mission. So good job today," he said, and his students said bye to him, and Drakon and they all left.
"You got talented students there, Skah," Drakon said.
"Thanks. I hope one day when I have them take the Champion Exam, they'll do their very best," Skah said, and the two head out as well.
Later, at Cody's house, Ryan is in the backyard training. He has two fire pits set up and light up. He has his Beast Spirit, Adofo, with him to help. Ryan stands before one of the fire pits. "So, you are going to use the Elemental Translocation Technique?" Adofo asks.
"Yep, I know my dad can use it, and so can my mom. I need to learn how to use it myself. Dad doesn't need to have a fire set up to use the technique."
"Should we try doing it to an item first?" Adofo asks, not wanting his friend to get hurt.
"Well, I am going to try it first with myself."
"But your dad learned how to turn his body into a pure fire before he learned the Elemental Translocation Technique."
"I know," Ryan said, thinking as he looks at the fire pit.
"How about you use a Portal Warp instead?" said a voice, and the two look around. Then they look up at the roof of the house and see Kevin. Kevin jumps down and land before the two. "If you learn how to use the Portal Warp Technique, then you'll be able to check out the area you want to go to."
"Hey, Kevin," Ryan smiles as he greets his friend. "You can use the Portal Warp?"
"Yes, but I don't use it for traveling. I only use it to spy at a location. I can make it small, so I can see what the enemies are doing. Watch," Kevin held out his right hand, and electric starts to sparks. He motions his hand into the circle, and the electric sparks hold in the air as Kevin motion his hand. Then, after Kevin moves his hands in a circle fast, a ring of lightning appears in the air. He places his hand before the ring of lightning and closes his eyes. Then an image appears inside of the circle of electricity. The image is the view of Ryan's house from above.
Ryan looks up and sees the second lightning ring. "So you made one here and then another one gets made in the location you want it to be?"
"Yes, I can have it be any sizes I want it to be. I can use Lightning and Fire. All you have to do is allow the fire to stay in the air." Ryan holds his right hand up and has a fire form around it. He motions his hand in a circle, but the bit of the fire isn't staying behind. "When trying to use it the first time, keep doing in a circle and make it fast. So that way, the fire can have no ends."
Ryan motions his hand faster and can feel a bit of the fire staying behind in the air. Kevin told him to stop and pull out his hand quickly. Ryan did so and saw the ring of light, but it fades away. "It didn't stay."
"You used your energy, right?" Ryan nodded. "Once you have it connected, remember to think right away where you want to go." Kevin raise his hand and point his index finger out, "let do an easy way with a small one." His finger sparks, and he made a circle motion and made a circle out of the lightning. "When I first learned how to do this, I used to see the other part of the house or yard."
"How old were you when you learned how to use it?" Ryan asks.
Kevin thinks, "I think it was when I was thirteen, like twenty-seven years ago when I first started learning it."
"Kevin," someone calls out, and the boys look to the house. It's Ryan's six-year-old brother, Ulrich. Ulrich jumps up at Kevin and hugs him. Kevin hugs him back as well. "Kevin, you're back. Are you staying in Heraho this time?"
Kevin smiles, "Yea, little buddy, and I heard you joined the Junior Rescue Scout."
"Yep," Ulrich said, smiling, and Kevin set Ulrich back down. "I just started last week with May, Mimi, and Lulu."
"To bad. We didn't have a Junior Rescue Scout back in the Spirit Realm. It would have been nice I was one," Kevin said.
"By the way, Hondo and I could use a new technique together," Ulrich said.
"What technique is that?" Kevin asks.
"Animal Spirit," Ulrich answers.
"Nice," Kevin said, please. Then he turns to Ryan. "By the way, is your dad around?"
"No, he won't be home for like another hour. He is still at his meeting with the council," Ryan answers.
Kevin crossed his arms and thought, "Ok, then I'll leave a message for him," he turns to Ryan. "Tell your dad to call me."
"Ok," Ryan said.
"Well, I got to get going, I'll see you guys later," Kevin said and said bye to the two and disappeared in lightning.
Ulrich turns to his big brother. "What do you think he wants?"
Ryan looks at Ulrich, "Not sure, but dad and I will find out tonight when we meet with him." Then Ryan went back to training on his technique, and Ulrich watches him.
Meanwhile, outside of Heraho by twenty-five miles north. Inside of a cave, a bunch of researchers are looking at walls. Ayaka Azuma is looking at some writings. She looks in her book and back at the wall. Ayaka places her right hand on the wall where there is a marking and slides her hand across it. The marking has two curve marks under it as a sphere is above the two curves marks. "What is this?" Ayaka asks herself.
Someone entered the room where Ayaka is, "Ayaka, did you find anything?" he asked.
Ayaka turns around and sees the Head of the North Dakota Research Department, Tocho Sioux. Tocho Sioux is in his late sixties and has been studying ancient ruins for a long time. "Tocho! Yes, I found this marking and am not sure what it means." Ayaka turns around and shows Tocho.
Tocho walks up to the wall and looks at the symbol; he then activates his Superoculor. "I see now," he smiles. "This looks like the Sioux clan Superoculor, and the marking under it must mean a skill or something."
"Your Superoculor can see what it means?" Ayaka asks.
"Yes, it seems like my ancestors have to make sure this is readable to those with our eye ability. My grandfather has told me that our clan goes far back."
Someone rushes into the room, and the two turn to her. "Misty! What is it?" Ayaka asks.
"Master Tocho, Ayaka, we found something. You both need to come quick," Misty said, and they left the room. They then enter a room, and Misty went up to a wall. She places her hand up on the wall and press forward. A square shape level got push into the wall. Then a door open next to Misty, and it had a staircase that leads downward.
Tocho holds his right hand up and made a fire form to light the way. They walked down the stone steps. The steps went on for a while; Ayaka counted the steps to see how far they were going down. The steps turned and then ended. There is a large wooden door, and they walk up to it. Tocho tries to open the door, but it locks. He then activities his Superoculor and looks around the door. "It seems like there is a seal on here," Tocho said. "Misty, go get Davis. I need him to work on this."
"On it, sir," Misty went to get one of their teammates.
"What do you think is in there?" Ayaka asks Tocho.
"Could be anything, and the sealing is old. It might take a while to take care of it."
"Do you think Davis could unlock it?" Ayaka asks.
"Hoping that Davis could open it temporarily. I can set up marking on this side of the door to teleport back to if the door lock on us on the other side."
Soon Davis returns with Misty, and he looks at the door. Davis places his right hand on the door. "Mzajka Sealing Technique: Seal Revel," he said. The seals show up, and Davis pulls out a paper and place it on the door and his left hand on it. "Mzajka Sealing: Copy," The seals on the entry appear on the paper. "Ok, made a copy, I can send this to my cousin later to check it out."
"Can you unlock it?" Tocho ask.
"I can, but it will take some time and," Davis notices something in the center of the door. He inspects it. "I saw this before. I think this is a blood seal. It tiny, but I think it will allow us to open the door for a bit." Davis turns to Tocho, "Master, can you put a bit of your blood here, please?" Davis point to where Tocho needs to put his blood.
Tocho pulls out a needle and pokes his finger and press on the center of the door. Tocho steps back, and the markings on the door glow green. Then the door opens up, and everyone entered the room. Flames lights upon the torches along the wall.
Misty notices something on the walls. There are like markings and writing along the walls. "I wonder what these writing are?" Misty asks.
Ayaka walks to the end of the room and looks at an image that looks like a tree. In the tree looks like nine spheres as an arch. There is a word under the tree and some writings under the name. "Master," Ayaka calls out, and Tocho walks over to her. "I can't tell what writing this is, but I think I have seen this marking before."
Tocho looks closely at it and looks around the room. "Davis, make a copy of the writing here. I don't know how long the door will stay open," Tocho said, and Davis summoned a considerable paper and lay it on the floor.
Davis places his right hand on the paper and his left hand on the floor. "Mzajka Sealing: Complete Copy." the paper glow, and so did the room. Then the images appear on the paper. "Ok, got it all," Davis said as he rolls up the paper and makes it to send it back to base.
Soon they all left the room, and the door closed behind them. Once the four got back up to the ground floor, some of the other team members show up. Some members have found some old journals. Tocho told them to pack up what they have gathered as its time to head out. Ayaka thinks about the tree with the nine spheres in it. She knows she has seen that symbol before that is under the tree.
Later that evening at Mathieu's house. Mathieu's brothers have arrived; Braxton and Bruno Langdon. The three are in the den, "Were you guys able to get any more information yet?" Mathieu asks.
"I went to the Great Library, but couldn't find much," said Bruno; Mathieu's oldest brother.
"What about the grand elders?" ask Braxton, the middle brother.
"They weren't there, as they only appear when you need them to," Bruno said. "Did any of you guys talk to mom or dad?"
"I went to see mom; she remembers her grandfather uses to work with the Time Realm," Mathieu said. "I also decided that my family will stay here for a while. Just to keep watch on things here."
"What about your missions for the Guardian?" Braxton asks.
"We'll still do that, just from here. My family isn't the only one working for him."
"Well, if your family is going to stay here, maybe mine could come too. I'll have to ask them first," Braxton said, and both brothers look at the eldest brother.
Bruno thinks, "I won't be able to as I need to stay with the rest of the team since I am one of the commanders. But I'll see if any of the kids would come and visit."
"Thank you, and can you ask Kwahu if he can send some people from the team to help?" Mathieu asks.
"You know he only allows the team to help people in the other realms if the realms are in grave danger," Bruno said and sight. "But I'll ask, ok. There is a meeting coming up for all the leaders."
"Thanks, Bruno," Mathieu said, and Bruno nodded.
"Well, I got to get going. I'll talk to you guys later," Bruno said, getting up and so did Braxton. Then the two left to head back to the Spirit Realm.
Mathieu sits back in his armchair and thinks. Paige walks in. "How did it go with your brothers?"
"Ok, Bruno said he wouldn't be able to stay, but he'll see if his kids could. Braxton is going to ask his wife and daughter about the idea of moving here."
Paige smiles and sits on her husband's lap and put her arms around Mathieu's neck. "It would be great to have them in the village with us. And we both moved out here when Kevin was younger. Then Kevin met Cody and join a rookie team with him."
Mathieu smiles, "Yea and Cody grew up into an adult while Kevin stays as a teenager."
"Which is good because I don't want our baby boy to become an adult yet," Paige said. The two then kiss each other.
Kevin walks into the den and see his parents making out and went to sit down, "Dad, mom," he called out, and the two stopped and looked at their son. "So, how was the meeting with Uncle Bruno and Uncle Braxton?"
"Good, Braxton might bring his family out to the village to live nearby for a while. But Bruno can't," Mathieu answers. "But he will ask his kids if they would like to instead." Mathieu and Paige went by Kevin, and the three snuggled.
"It would be great to have some of my cousins here," Kevin said as both of his parents hug him tighter.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Heero Sioux and his teammates are in a battle. Heero slide back on the ground from a blast. "Enoch, now," he calls out to his teammate that is a gargoyle.
"On it," Enoch calls out, flying above. Enoch has blueish green skin, a tail with two spikes at the tip, pointy ears, and large wings that are dark blue under them. He also has short brown hair. "Thunder Wing Clap," Enoch's wings glow yellow and he flaps his wings hard and causing a huge lightning bolt crashing down on the enemy.
"Chad, you're next," Heero calls out and a man same age as Heero jumps out from a tree.
"On it Heero," Chad calls out and claps his hands together. Then he raises his hands up and a huge gavel appears. "Judgment Call: Gavel of Thousand Pain." he slams the gavel onto the enemy and the ground around the gavel exploded. Chad land on the ground and waits for the smoke to clear. "Did we get him?"
The smoke clears, and the enemy is still standing. "Damn it," Heero said.
The enemy yell up into the sky and huge energy blast around him. Gust of wind flew around, pushing everything away. Heero use his arms to block the wind, Savannah, now." Heero calls out.
A woman same age as Heero, jumped out of a tree. "Howell Technique: Toxic Serpent." Huge green serpent shape venom shoots out of her mouth.
The enemy sees the venom shape serpent heading for him. He hold out his hands, "Time Break," the technique venom became small and disappeared.
Savannah land on the ground by her teammates. "What the hell? He made it disappeared." Savannah said.
"He said Time Break," Heero said and thought. Then his eyes widen. "He used a Time Technique," everyone look at Heero.
"Wait," everyone look at Chad. "You mean this guy could be from the Time Realm? A Time Ranger?"
"So you all know about Time Ranger," the enemy said. "I got a message for you all. The Chrono will take control of time and space. The great one already changed the timeline now. But soon he'll be able to control everything."
"The Chrono?" Enoch asks.
"Chrono means time," Heero said.
"That's right, and be ready. This timeline will change again," the enemy said and disappeared in a flash of light.
"Heero, who was that guy?" Savannah asks.
"Not sure, but we need to get back to Heraho now."
Meanwhile, at some unknown location, in a dark throne room on a throne. A man dress is a hooded robe, but the face covered by the shadow from the hood. A man enters the throne room and kneels before the man. "Great One, we have delivered the messages. Also, the Time Masters learned about the time changed. They already send out a member of the Time Ranger to the Warrior Realm."
"Who did they send?" The Great One ask.
The man's hand over the Great One a file and the Great One open it. "Perfect. Just need the rest of them to come out and show themselves." The Great One set the file to the side. "They had trapped me for thousands of years, locked away, to never get out again. I will take control of everything soon and kill the twenty-five leaders of the Infinite and rule all." He started to laugh and look at the man that is still kneeling. "Send a message out to Roland. Tell him to come and bring Atokad with him." The man nodded and got up and left the room.
