Chapter 2 - Why Me?

Leonie was confused. How did they mange to find this much information on her? Why did they need it anyway? The more she thought about it, the more her head started to ache and wanted the ibuprofen to be here as soon as possible.

"Could you maybe..untie me?" Leonie's head hangs low, but the two men could still hear her since her voice wasn't too quiet.

Kole looked at his boss, who looked at him, took a small sigh and untied her. She rubbed her red wrists. It was very visible since her skin was almost milky white.

Castor looked at her wrists with wide eyes, then at her eyes. They looked dead. She was looking at the floor while rubbing her hands. They needed a stretch so she did so.

Castor looked at Kole with cold eyes. "Was it you that tide her?"

"No. When I got here she was already tied." Kole broke a sweat but kept his cool.

Castor kneeled down in front of Leonie. "Do you know who tied you?" He was a little concerned.

He didn't like how she was hurt. However she didn't show much emotion. Which concerned him a bit more.

"I...don't know. I guess I was still knocked out. I don't even know why I'm here."

Before Castor could reply, Luna walked in with the pill on a napkin and a glass of water.

"I'm sorry it took so long. There was a girl bothering me, asking me what you were doing down here with Leonie." Luna gave the napkin and water to Leonie while looking at Castor

With ease, Leonie put the pill in her mouth, then swallowed it with the water. Her head wasn't aching anymore as much. The lights helped her since they weren't totally bright. She breathed in from her nose and breathed out from her mouth as she rolled her head around slowly.

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" Luna was waiting for her response. "I don't like thinking we're keeping you hostage. Even though we are, I like to think that you're one of us and talk in other room. It's your choice though." A little bit later she finally got an answer.

"I'm fine with whatever. I just want to know why I'm here." She didn't have her doozy voice anymore now that she was a bit better.

"Alright. If you want to go straight to the point, I'll give it to you." Castor pulls up a chair opposite of Leonie.

Luna stands beside him while Kole sits on the couch in the back, still hearing the conversation but tapping his phone.

"I want you to be in my group."

Leonie sat there dumbfounded, not being able to comprehend what Castor just said. She could not believe it one bit. She doesn't even know these people and they're saying that they want to be in their group?

"I don't know why you are asking me this. You don't know me, I don't know you. Just because that dude in the back gave you little information about me, doesn't you know everything about me." Leonie snaps.

"Oh, feisty, I see." Castor says. He stands up and puts the chair away. "Just what I needed. I'm Castor, head leader of the team. Luna, vice-leader, and that dude in the back is Kole, an assistant."

"What?!" He screams from the back and quickly stands up, like he's ready to fight.

Castor gets a bit pissed and walks over to Kole to put some sense into him.

"While those two are fighting, I'll tell you a little bit more of myself so you can feel a bit more comfortable with us." Luna suggests as she sits down on her chair. "My name is Luna. My stage name is Cancer, I was born July 21st and I'm important in the team, since I'm the vice leader, like Castor said."

"Do they really call you Cancer?" Leonie was confused that people call her by that name. Even though she was a cancer because Luna was born between June 21st and July 22nd, she still didn't understand.

"Well, yes. Cancer can be tricky because it could be meant as astrology wise or as a disease." Luna crosses her legs and puts her hands on her left knee.

Castor walks over to our direction. As he does, his left hand is inside his dress pockets.

He was tall, at least 6'2". His skin was pure, white, almost like paper. His eyes were beautiful blue clear crystals that made them stand out from his army green suit. His luscious black hair looked so soft and every strand of his were perfectly in place.

Leonie couldn't help but to blush just slightly, but no one see it. She stays still sitting down on the chair that she used to be tied to.

"Have you decided you choice?" Castor faces Luna then at Leonie.

Leonie fidgets with her fingers. She want to say something to stand up for herself. However, nothing comes out. She mumbles out the words she can only say. "Why me?"

Castor's eyes don't widen but he is in shock. Luna just stares at her and can't help but feel for her. She has gotten kidnapped by some dude named Kole, who she has no idea who he is except for his name, and didn't even ask for it and the head leader of the group wants her to join the group.

This is insane for Leonie and Luna can only imagine what she's going through right now.

"Tell you what. I'll take you back home and you can think about this whole mess and when you do you can call me at this number." Luna hands Leonie a card with her number on it.

She looks up at Luna. She nods and gets her things that were on a table close by. Luna gets out the door and into the driver's seat and head out to Leonie's home.
