It didn't take her much time, before pushing him away. No matter what love was, she will not break her promise. Sebastian holds her back by her wrist. Was she that disgusted by him?
He is just a devil. A devil who falls for an angel knowing the consequences. How can make her heart stop saying he doesn't? It aches every time someone looks at her like he does, it bleeds every time anyone talks to her sweetly as he wants? Was it his fault he became a devil and can't control his heart?
The heart of the devil beats like any normal human. Was that his fault? From birth to till now he never hated this more than now. He just wants her, makes her his but then he realizes he would be selfish to do that. With him, she will get nothing but pain, misery, and dreadful life.
Sarael was like the most beautiful rose in a garden, so precious and delicate; with one touch it will fall apart like the ashes. Why did she have to come into his life like a gust of wind, changing everything in his life? He was doing so good before she came into his life. But now he was just an obsessed guy for her.
"Why are you doing this to me?" He blurted out in her face, his eyes tired of this play. He was taking every pain so well now he can't. He was addictive for her, only her. No girl can do this to him except her. She was the drug he can never resist.
Sarael heard his words. As if thousands of knives pierced her heart, it was just painful. Sarael holds on to her tears and lets out a smile. So it's all her fault? Was it hers? He knows her feelings towards him but still, he plays with her like a plaything and then throws her away?
He was the cruel one, if he likes her then he should be said to her but he says he doesn't. She tries to move on but comes back raising her hopes again and shattering them ruthlessly.
Was it fun? Was it fun playing with her? Making a fool out of her?
She may be naive than them, she may be poorer than them but she was not vicious like them. Was she not a human? Does she not feel pain? She does but with every pain he gives, the more motionless she gets.
She looked up into his exhausted eyes," Sorry, For letting you see my face every time." Tears rolled down her cheeks, unable to hold it anymore. She snapped away from his grip and ran out.
She walked back to an open garden, which had very few people there; busy in their world. Sarael sat down on an empty bench beside a ginkgo tree.
Autumn brought out its beauty, as the wind touched the leaves of it, it fell from there. Sarael looked at the shower of yellow leaves around the place.
Letting out a sad smile, she picked up a leaf from the ground and looked at it. It had a brown patch on it, the brown color beside the lustrous yellow made it look ugly. Even if both colors had their own beauty; but on comparing yellow sure wins. Brown looked like an ugly mark on it as if it's a disgrace to beauty. Like her, she was the brown spot in his life.
She falls for him at the first bloom now it's fall, time for her to go like this leaves. He will have a better one to love him than her. He will soon graduate and this will mark the end of this crossing path and they can go back. Just a few more months before she never sees her.
Like the full bloom flower, finally dying before new ones take their places. It was the cycle of life also the cycle of love.
