Garnet and Esmeralda are having their usual snacks of banana and jackfruit in crispy caramelized wrapper (turon) and pineapple juice while playing Scrabble and talking about random stuff. They are really enjoying themselves.
Garnet, however, is starting to profusely sweat because he is getting nervous. He has written a poem for Esmeralda on a pink stationery paper and he even prepared a fancy bracelet for her. He is going to admit his true feelings for her. He starts to fidget and then he hears an odd noise. It's not that loud, but he has heightened sense of hearing. He becomes so dizzy and he really had to cover his ears. He cries.
Esmeralda, upon seeing Garnet crying, hugs him and tells him that he's safe and that everything's going to be okay.
Garnet slowly calms down and stops crying. He thanks Esmeralda and he sheepishly gets the poem and bracelet from his pocket, gives them to her and says, "I love you."
Esmeralda gets surprised and she blushes, then says, "I love you too, Garnet."
