Chapter 96 - Escape

Three months had passed. During this time period, Odette hadn't done anything grand. She stayed in her residence for the most part, letting the days pass by slowly.

Sitting by the window, she would usually read books while listening to the chirping outside and overseeing Adrian's training. There was really nothing much for her to do. Because it would be getting chaotic soon, Odette thought it will be a pity if she didn't enjoy the time now.

As for Adrian, although the boy had improved greatly, he had soon started a strange hobby of playing with birds. He captured birds, placed them in a cage, and let them chirp all day long.

It was truthfully annoying, and Odette suspected he did this for the sake of revenge against her for toughening his training lately.
