Jeanette's nose scrunched up in disgust as she examined her surroundings. However, in those eyes of hers, there was curiosity as well.
This was the first time she entered a pub after all.
The place was filled with rough looking men, and she spotted one or two females. That was about it. She looked at Odette questioningly and warily, wondering her purpose about grabbing Jeanette to here.
Nevertheless, this part of the town was resided by the commoners who didn't lead much of an affluent lifestyle. Therefore, it would be hard to find anyone here who would be able to recognize her.
However, Jeanette didn't know whether or not that matter should make her feel relieved, given how it would be easy for Odette to take advantage of her here while she would be left defenseless.
No one would even find her corpse, let alone the culprit, if Odette decided to take her life here.
