It was the screams that spread through the place which alerted everyone.
It was due to the fire which started out of nowhere, and everyone started to panic because of it. No one had expected for a fire to start and wildly expand all throughout the beautiful scenery, destroying it simultaneously.
The knights had immediately appeared. While some tried to ease the rapidly increasing fire, the rest tried to guide the ladies out of the dangerous place, knowing that they wouldn't be able to afford any casualties
This was the first time many ladies had encountered such a dangerous incident, and this made them all anxious. That's why, instead of everything being dealt with in an orderly manner, there was a mess around which the knights worked hard to fix.
This was the moment Odette chose to slip out of the place. When everyone was distracted, Odette took advantage of the situation to walk towards the old building that sat on their land.
