Emma displayed nervousness as she looked around her surroundings before lowering her gaze and silently walking.
Many curious eyes were on Odette. They scrutinized Odette from top to bottom and whispered to each other their comments on Odette.
Jeanette approached Odette and flashed her a smile. The hostility and mocking intent couldn't be hidden from that. Odette gave her more of a easygoing smile, showing how she was hardly affected by Jeanette.
"Glad you could make it, Lady Odette. I thought you will be rejecting like all other previous times," Jeanette pointed out.
"I am sorry," Odette replied, "unfortunately, I am too busy for these leisurely activities, and recently, things have been getting busier for me. I have too many responsibilities on my shoulder."
