The marchioness lost her composure before regaining it. Folding her hands over her chest, there was a hint of smugness in her eyes as she arrogantly spoke, "Are you aware of what you are accusing me of? Falsely defaming me will end you up in the prison. The crime for spreading false rumors on a noble and ruining their reputation is severely punished. I am willing to overlook your insolence if you leave now. I won't hold you accountable."
Odette smiled, unfazed, and expressed, "Marchioness Strei, you are really magnanimous, but what to do? I am very much greedy. How can I be satisfied with just that?"
Odette's tone was helpless.
She then continued, "You see, I happen to have a hobby of stalking those I am fond of. Hotels you stayed in, restaurants you dined in, plays you watched, shops you frequented, and much more— I have extensive information on that."
The marchioness sneered.
