Odette entered followed by Adrian, and few minutes later, their order was served. Once the desserts were set on the table, the waiter bowed before stepping out. Odette then got up and locked the door.
Adrian's eyes were filled with curiosity as they trained on Odette. Cutting through the chiffon cake, he picked up the piece through the fork and placed it in his mouth. His mouth was puffed up.
Odette's hand touched the wall and moved, trying to feel something. After that sensation, she pressed on to the brick, and this made a passageway open just in front of her feet. Odette's lips curled up at that.
Adrian's eyes widened. He stared at the floor that opened up in wonder, and a gasp escaped from his lips. His gaze then fell on Odette. He stood up and walked over to the passageway that led underground.
As he looked down, only darkness could be seen, and he could faintly make out the staircase. Tilting his head, he stared at Odette questioningly.
