He gave Odette a cryptic smile.
She understood the meaning behind it. Him refusing to vocally answer meant that he wasn't in agreement with it.
Odette shook her head.
She never expected him to show support to her. In fact, it would be pretty crazy if he did.
"And this is the second gift," Adrian said, handing Odette a notebook. It was covered in leather.
Accepting it, Odette opened it. The notebook was empty. The papers had a yellowish tint to them, waiting for ink to color them.
"Write down all of your happy thoughts here, Lady Odette. Nothing depressing or self-depreciating. Write the events that made you feel like a female lead or about those incidents which made you laugh over and over again, thinking of which brings a smile on your face."
Odette chuckled.
