Joanna was a hyper young lady. The amount of energy in her impressed Odette. She skipped from one shop to next and appeared bright even though she hadn't sat for hours. On top of that, she chattered non-stop animatedly.
Adrian, on the other hand, was drained. He started his complaints and whines. And in order to spite him, Joanna spent more time than usual while shopping. She asked for his opinion only to disregard them later on.
Odette, on the other hand, paid close attention to the surroundings, trying to get an understanding of everything. Even though there was a small smile on her face as she went along with Joanna, she remained vigilant.
The first few days were extremely quiet, and this was the sign that a storm would begin soon.
"Let's go to the beach tomorrow, alright? Alice said the weather these days would be perfect for beach," Joanna expressed, not exactly asking for Odette's opinion.
The mention of the beach got Odette thinking.
