Thunder rumbled, and a flash of lightning hit the ground, shaking the Earth. Storm arrived. Strong winds blew, rattling the window. The rain hit the glass panels, clouding them.
That's when, the window panels were pushed open suddenly. The man, who was about to lay down on his bed, turned his head at the sound, and his line of sight then fell on the young girl standing in his room.
Aiden's eyes widened at the appearance of Odette, dumbfounded to see her at this time of the night in his room, before he concealed that and stared at her nonchalantly.
"Ugh! Terrible weather to do this!" Odette groaned.
Odette couldn't predict how the weather would be tonight, but since she made up her mind to choose this date, she found it bothersome to change it.
She was wet from top to bottom. Her hair was soaked, and instead of looking at Aiden, she tried to fix the mess her hair had become after that strenuous effort she placed in to sneak into Aiden's room.
