Chapter 3 - Having Adrian

The situation was quite baffling yet intriguing to Odette Albinius. Fate was able to play interesting and surprising games at times as well.

She believed that only good and pitiful people got a second chance. She was neither of those; she was evil and made people pitiful.

It did not take long for her to absorb in the situation. Going back to her seven year old self seemed fun to her, and she was curious to see what she could do with this life.

There was not much she regretted, and the path she desired to take this time did not vary from the last time either. She wanted to be the top and fight for it unless someone finished her off.

Adrian must have felt certain amount of joy amount of thrill when he had finished her off, but too bad, the time has been reversed.

The only goal in her mind was to have more fun this time around.

As a grand door stood in front of her, Odette Albinius stopped her footsteps. Being in the body of a seven year old made many things inconvenient for her.

The fear in people's face was not shown that much. Nevertheless, this time she was not that interested about it. Although that would be convenient for her, she wanted to pursue something more amusing this time around— maybe someone like Adrian.

The boy was weak and naive. Those innocent eyes of his later held hatred before that disappeared to nonchalance.

No one would have imagined for that boy to gain such a victory; anger alone was not enough to accomplish that. There was most certainly something about that boy.

Odette craved to unseal that and explore his potentials more. She desired to see what great heights he would be able to go to.

Nothing at that instant seemed appealing to her as Adrian did.

She began to form multiple plans inside her mind, and there was an impatience within her to apply them. Multiple ways to approach him came within her mind, and if truth was to be told, she wanted to do this meticulously.

This chance did not come by often, and Odette did not want to end up regretting at the end.

Following after that maid from before— whose name she could not bother to remember— Odette looked at her surroundings. Everything was exactly the same.

Once both of them reached a large door, the maid extended her hand and knocked on the door couple of times. Nervousness oozed off the maid, and her body trembled.

Odette could guess that she was new. However, soon enough, the maid will be getting same as others— heartless. Many started out naive, but the Albinius household is enough to make their heart's darken.

The door was opened by a guard, and as the guard stared sternly at the maid, she took a step back. The maid's behaviour was annoying to Odette.

Nevertheless, she was way too excited to care about that. This day was clearly engraved into the back of Odette's mind; it was the day when she had met him for the first time.

'Adrian, you can't imagine how thrilled I am.'
