Dennis bowed to her as he stepped into the room.
Odette was seated on her chair, going through a book, when she stopped flipping through the pages at his arrival. She then asked, "Did you purchase it?"
Dennis nodded and stepped forward, handing her a glass container. Inside it was a straw colored liquid. Odette received it from him and stared at the container while wearing an indescribable expression.
Odette indicated for him to leave, but before he did so, he glanced at the liquid and questioned, "What are you planning to do with it, Lady Odette?"
Usually, he wasn't curious about what Odette made him do. He felt very much used to obeying her orders. But in this situation, acquiring this drug was especially hard.
