That's when, she spotted the blood on the nearby trees, and soon enough, she was met with the sight of the boy she had been looking for a while now. Odette paused.
Her chest clenched painfully when she saw him leaning against the tree. He was seated down and bleeding badly. His entire body had gone pale, and from this distance, she could hardly guess whether or not was he alive.
Immediately, she got down from the horse, and hastily tying it, she rushed over to go. Unbeknownst to her, the panic inside her grew at the thought of something negative happening to the boy.
