Worldtaker base

"What should we do with him? Give him to the leader to test? " Hail Tachean, a soldier from the human land recovery division found a baby on the Worldtaker base. He felt sympathy for the child but orders are orders.

"it's just a child Hail, you know that humans who were recovered that took the test are executed even if there is no problem." Rhea Tachean was Hail's wife and taken over by her maternal instincts, she opposed his idea.

They argued about what to do with the baby. The baby was indeed a human but their was an order to submit all beings that were recovered to the leader. The tests had a bad reputation since it is said that everything alive which are taken to tests would be executed.

Rhea would never agree to a young child to be killed for something they didn't even do. So their argument got louder and louder and so the baby woke up and started to cry heavily.

"See what you've done" Rhea feeling wronged by her husband's opposition took the baby to her embrace to lessen it's crying.

Hail knew that he can't change what his wife would decide so he embraced her and the baby. "okay, we will take this child as our own. Anyways, she looks like you if you think about it."

"trying to woe me now is to late. I am cute and he is cute so he is my child and he also looks like you so no problem, right?" she concluded.

Rhea already forgived her husband but she was kind of bashful about it so he could only do it like she was compromising.

Of course Hail knew about this, that's why he was able to marry this wife of his and he would've teased her by now but now was not the time. They were now in the middle of a battle and a moment of negligence would take their lives.

"go to the operational base and stay their, you can't fight with a child in your embrace" Hail said.

"but what about you, you can't fight alone, you would be overwhelmed by their numbers." Rhea feared that this will be their last meeting.

"You really don't trust you husband. You know that my title was one versus many, furthermore I will join forces with the team."

Hail hurriedly gave her a kiss and told her to go and then went back to join the battle. He was given a title by the Reidos system called the" one versus many" that would increase his speed and power to kill all of his enemies.

Rhea knew that she can't change her husband's addiction for a massacre towards the worldtakers since they were the one that killed his parents. She then used a skill called windbringer to dash towards the camp.

She then brought the baby towards their tent and left it in the care of a Healthcare division and said it was her child. It was strange but the Healthcare officer knew that the one before her was The Rhea Tachean so she took the child.

Rhea then used the windbringer skill to run back towards the battlefield and slay worldtakers. She and Hail were famous in the military for their achievements and titles like Hail's title "one versus many" and her title "bloody athena" that would increase her speed when her dagger is coated with Worldtakers blood.

She saw her husband was fighting with a bunch of worldtakers called poison fanged wolves. Just like the World of Reidos had races like the beastmen and elves or the demonkin, the worldtakers also had many races like low goblins, orcs and minotaurs and thousands more since they had already taken over some worlds.

Rhea used her skills to lessen the numbers that would attack her husband while Hail would use his spear and overbearing strength to reap lives in the battlefield.

After that day, they became a new legendary duo that would be famous in the human land recovery divisions for their contributions in the bloody battlefield.

All thought that the duo would continue to serve Reidos as part of the battlefield but they suddenly exited the spotlight and retired from the battlefield. Furthermore their reason was that they were having a child, of course that child was the baby they found in the worldtakers base.

The both of them already made a promise to take the child and name him Ren Tachean, their child and his origin a secret that they would take to their graves.

Years passed by and the world gradually forgot the "one versus many" and "bloody athena" since new rising stars took over their place.

Even after many years have passed, the war of the worldtakers and the world of Reidos never waivered. Everytime a soldier was killed, a new one would go to the battlefield.
