"Hey Ally!!!" Yelled Jaylee from below Ally's doorstep
Ally screamed "Jaylee! I haven't seen you in forever!!!" As she went to the field where Jaylee was standing.
"I saw you three days ago." Jaylee chuckled
"Exactly. Forever ago!" Ally replied
"Okay well anyway want to walk to the park?" Jaylee asked.
"Sure! But what should we do there?" Exclaimed Ally.
"We could go on the swing set." Jaylee requested.
And then they walked. They also talked. About how school is important but it could be cut shorter, and how the new virus going around was a bit frightening. Eventually they got to the swing set and as they were getting on the swings Ally looked at Jaylee's hand.
"What happened?!" Yelled Ally
"What?" Questioned Jaylee
"Your hand!!!" Replied Ally
"Oh I just tripped it's no big deal." Jaylee mumbled quietly
Ally laughed "at least wrap it up right!"
"Ok mom!" Jaylee joked
And then they laughed and talked some more as they were both swinging. Ally's mom eventually texted her,
Where are you?
I'm at the park with Jaylee
You got me worried!
Come home NOW!
Ok ...
"My mom, I forgot to tell her I was coming to the park with you so I have to go I'm so sorry."
Ally said sadly as she looked up at Jaylee
"It's fine. I'll see you later?" Jaylee said
"Hopefully, if I'm not grounded for life!" Ally replied.
They laughed as Jaylee walked Ally home. When they got there Jaylee thought about all the fun they had.
"Well I had fun maybe I'll talk when your un-grounded." Jaylee said hopefully
"Yeah." Said Ally sorrowfully.
"Ally!" Screamed Ally's mom
Ally gulped, her mother was abusive and her father was in New York with his "new family" so Ally lived with her mom.
Ally walked inside as her mother pulled her hair and called her things like a worthless brat who shouldn't have been born. Neither Ally or Jaylee could call child protective services because Ally stated she would rather be with her mom. Her mother was mean but her father was an alcoholic. And she didn't know the rest of her family. Anyway Ally knew her mother cared about her a little but her father was to busy with all of his girlfriends, sixteen to be exact. But now back to Jaylee and how her family works, Jaylee lives on a farm about a mile away from Ally so she rode her bike to Ally's house and then left it hidden by the porch for when she went home. Jaylee lived with her mother and her father died in a fire before Jaylee was born. Jaylee and Ally are both twelve and we're born three days apart so technically Jaylee is older but only by three days. Jaylee only knew her mom, her grandma, and her grandpa. None of them were abusive, all of them were actually nice. They could be strict, but most of the time they were nice. Jaylee was walking to her porch when suddenly she heard sobbing inside her house. She walked in and it was her mother, she was crying... tears of joy?
