After a ride of 20 minutes, they reached Bliss Spa. Astrid looked curiously at the décor. It was dimly lit, with pictures of Buddha adorning the wall and the ambience was soothing. She breathed in the sandalwood scent and relaxed immediately. An attendant came to them and guided them to a spa pool room, separated by the genders.
Astrid and Abigail changed into a flimsy-looking material which barely covered them and laid down on a whiteboard, their bodies fully submerged. Abigail saw the healing bruises on Astrid and couldn't help but ask.
`Did my brother do that to you?',
`Oh, no. He did not. I am training with my mentor for self-defence. Inevitable bruises, I guess', she explained and turned to face Abigail.
The water jets around them turned on and both sighed in delight.
`I could get used to this every day', Astrid gushed.
