( Astrid's POV )
I had the most amazing dream ever. I could hear my mom singing me the earth song repeatedly, surrounded by lavender shrubs around us. The intoxicating smell was calming, and I ran my hands over it, running in circles.
We just sat next to each other, and she was there the whole time, caressing me. But what made me wonder was the fact it never went dark wherever I was. This place was bright and sunny. Where was I? It looked a lot like Anubia' Mellow Forest, but I have yet to see this part of the forest. Did someone hide it away in plain sight with spells and charms? But wait, shouldn't I be injured? From the gunshot? Did I die? But then why is my heart beating? Shit, this is so freaking confusing. I decided to just wallow in the scenery in front of me for now. Push all my other thoughts away in a box.
