As much as Yuan Xuelan wanted nothing more than to rush into the manor and tear it apart, there was an order to things.
First thing was first. They had to find out how to dismantle the barriers safely and stop whatever was causing that destructive beam of light.
They split into two groups, one led by Yuan Xuelan and the other by the phoenix and with their combined strengths they would scour the outer layers of the manor and fulfill their objectives. It proved not as difficult as first seemed.
Aside from the traps and spells that seemed the coat ever inch of the property, the enemies that they faced were idiotic at best. Yuan Xuelan would have reckoned that they were absolutely brainless. There were Fallen Gods that patrolled the grounds. But they were without any goal, aimlessly marching in circles. So long as Yuan Xuelan and his group remained out of their sights, the monstrosities didn't even react.
