"How is she?" Liu Sumeng kept his voice gentle.
Huo Tang hummed, her chin tilted and shoulders held upward as per usual. But despite her confident posture, there was something distant about her eyes. It had been long since Liu Sumeng had seen Huo Tang's human form and it made him itch to ask about Yuan Xuelan.
Now was not the time. The two of them were standing outside Chen Anyue's door, trying to keep quiet while others attend to her.
"Unfortunately, this divine one has merely repressed Jin Juwan's conscious. He is still present in that poor girl's body. And that is not addressing the state of her fate."

"What for?" Huo Tang tilted her head. "If it's drawing out Jin Juwan's possession. Well, that would have been easy if her health was right.
