When she woke, the first thing she noticed was that her mind was blissfully peaceful. A hand rested next to her side. It was a man's hand.
With a groan, she rose from the ground, a little chilled but mostly sore, and tested her mobility.
The man's body...no, Yuan Xuelan's body, was for the most part fine and bore only a few little scrapes and sores. His clothes were askew but Huo Tang supposed it would be asking too much of the rude-boy to actually dress himself properly.
Huo Tang lazily looked around. It appeared that she was in a cavern of sorts but there were no signs of an entrance or exit to the walled-in space. And oddly, the ground was covered with a sheen layer of grass despite the fact that no sunlight was able to enter the space.
A soft blue glow filled the cavern and Huo Tang noticed that there was a large pool of water that sat still at its center.
