He was dressed simply, and though he wasn't ugly, there was nothing about his appearance that stood out either. A sword was bound to his hip that matched in its simplicity, but Liu Sumeng felt that there was something off about it.
The mention of the trial struck the Ivory Sword Saint, and he knew that this was probably something to do with Ban Yuewei. This man was most likely another essential character, but how he fitted into the tale was anyone's guess.
