ACE'S POV:-
I completely obliviously dozed off as soon as we took off and I was woken up mid-air. I just want to sleep and people here are clueless. Ria and Evan have been bickering ever since they met. I can tell Evan likes Ria and Ria went on a date or hook up to make him jealous. The whole world would know, but the main characters are totally ignorant of a factor called love.
But I want to seep and it's not happening because the one who woke me up is not them, it's the person sitting right across me, shouting on the phone, more like whispering loudly. But you know it irritates you even more. I am shifting violently in my sleep giving out signs of discomfort. But like everybody else he is clueless or pretending to be clueless. He doesn't even lower his voice out of consideration.
Evan: - "hey! Brother! Can you please drop Miss Victoria somewhere in the middle?"
Ria: - "oh no! I thought you are such a rich man with commendable education but you still don't know the difference between a car and the plane. How very disappointing of you."
Ria giggled and evan turned to look out of the window, with a scowl on his face.
ACE'S POV:-
The flight landed quite comfortably. We were arranged cars to reach to our resort. My shoulders hurt if I had to move around too much. Just what did he eat too be so strong. I hear a loud squeal from Ria as she cruises her hand along the air while our car moves along the ocean. It feels good to know that at least someone is enjoying themselves.
All of the jumble-bumble quietened down as we reached over seaside villa near the town. Did he own this all along? I doubt that. Our rooms have a vibrant vibe of freshness from the sea, although the air is bit salty. I hope it's not because of that dreadful man. I know I have to stop thinking but my mind just wanders around its own path.
I hope that my resolve stays and I don't embarrass myself anymore with false hopes. Let's get serious.
AKENO'S POV:-
After having changed and relaxed I am still burdened with thoughts of that girl. I know it is ridiculous. How can I even bow before her? I am confident that a plain apology will do. The door opening and her getting hit didn't come in my dreams. No premonitions though.
Evan:-"what?"
"What the hell when did you get in here? You forgot how to knock."
Evan:-"ummm. Do I have to knock? Anyways I have been calling you out. What are you thinking standing half naked in the middle of the room? Filming a daily soap! Are we?"
"I just showered, you blind fucker. By the way where is the party?"
Evan:-"there is this famous casino in this town as locals here tell. I think you won't like it, since there is a theme and you are not into this stuff."
"What's the theme? I heard something about masks. What is it called? Masquerade."
Evan:-"that's right. So we are gonna go in there, meet our man and come out immediately. No funny business. I am sure you also want the same. Also one more thing."
"What?"
Evan:-"we aren't taking the girls with us. It's not safe there at the casino."
"Yeah!? Okay."
I don't see a reason not to take them. But, who knows, besides I heard they were given a vacation time. It's no point in bothering them."
