A cold lush breeze flew past her hair and Ace took another sip of the beer. It was the last drop as she threw away the crushed can.
Akeno who was thinking that she fell asleep there was now aware that she wasn't sleeping. He got up and stood behind the balcony shutter. Leaning over Ace like a tower, Akeno bends over and says slowly,
"You'll die of cold if you sleep here." Akeno.
"Gosh! Uh! You scared me." Ace.
"You are more scary sitting here like a ghost." Akeno sat down behind her.
"Why are you sitting behind me?" Ace.
"Don't want to look at you." Akeno said as he crushed his empty beer can.
"Then go to your house." Ace.
"The building is mine, little girl." Akeno.
"Okay. But then why are you here? You must have seen the views many times." Ace tilted her head.
"No." Akeno.
"What, no!?" ace.
"I never came to the rooftop before." Akeno.
"Seriously, that's weird." Ace said in a slurred tone. The night air and all the drinking was now showing its effect in making her sleepy.
"Why would I come to the rooftop alone, silly woman?" Akeno.
"To get some fresh air, alone time or to refresh your mind." Ace was now unable to hold herself together and fell back into akeno's embrace.
"What!? No!! Again? Hey you sleeping?" Akeno panicked.
Ace fell into a comfortable warm paradise as she felt herself bump against something warm like a blanket. She was unaware of the surroundings as well as the situation she was in and what Akeno was in. he was shocked at her holding his hands and snuggled deep into the embrace like a small bird.
"Idiot you'll get a cold." Akeno said softly.
Akeno looked inside and found Evan awake and looking around.
"Hey! Listen! Listen here." Akeno whispered yelled.
Evan turned around and found Akeno reckoning him.
"Yeah!" Evan.
"Is there a blanket lying around here." Akeno.
"Yeah, on the couch… I'll get you one. Wait!" Evan.
Evan went to the couch and grabbed a wooden rug. He swiftly covered ace's and akeno's bodies in it.
"You'll catch cold brother." Evan.
"She won't move." Akeno.
"Wake her up." Evan suggested.
"No!" Akeno motioned him to stay quite.
Evan went inside in disbelief. He couldn't believe Akeno was being nice to ace r was this the effect of alcohol. He agreed on the latter. On the other hand Akeno pulled ace closer and hid her inside his woolen overcoat he was wearing. He rested his head on the door frame and closed his eyes.
"The cold can be harsh you know." He thought.
Evan slowly sat beside Ria, she was still awake. She lifted her head and looked around. No one was visible as Evan had switched off the lights.
"Hey where's my drink?" she turned around.
"You drank it." Evan.
"No. you took it." Ria.
"I didn't. You drank it." Evan.
"Give it back." Ria.
"What!? No! You drank it." Evan.
"I want it back. Don't mess with me. Ria pulled Evan's collar.
Ria was still tipsy from the drinks she had. She toppled over yet balanced herself. She repeatedly asked for her drink but Evan had already put them away.
"You can eat the cheese stick." Evan.
"No!' Ria.
"Stop being a child!" Evan yelled frustated.
"Okay. Let me have some snacks." Ria asked meekly.
As Ria bit off a large portion of cheese stick, she felt a little nauseous. She drank some water which made it worse. She stopped chewing and sat still.
"Hey! What happened?" Evan
"I don't feel so good." Ria.
"What!?" Evan couldn't hear her.
Ria covered her mouth and shut it tight; the sourness in her throat was sickening. She couldn't speak. Her eyes turned watery from all that gagging. She turned to Evan.
"Hey, don't cry. It's just alcohol." Evan patted her.
The watery eyes turned to teary eyes and red nose. Ria shook her head gently which made Evan even more concerned.
"What is it tell me!?" Evan.
Ria still controlling herself all red faced with the effort started crying. Evan couldn't figure out what to do. So, he just pulled her and hugged her tightly. He patted her on her back. And by now the dam had broken. Ria had puked all over him already.
Both of them dirty from the act smelled despicable. Evan pushed her away and Ria landed on the mat beside her.
"Do you know how expensive the suit is!? You puked on me? Do you know how much I am worth!? Huh!" Evan spoke enraged.
Ria showed her middle finger to him.
"Then who told you to pull me and pat me." Ria.
"You didn't speak when I asked." Evan.
"I shook my head clearly." Ria huffed and fell back.
"Hey!? You gonna sleep like this?" Evan poked her.
"Leave me alone." Ria murmured and fell back again.
"I am going to throw you into the shower." Evan thought maliciously.
As lethargy overcame her body she felt little burdened on her head.
"Hold tightly I am lifting you up now." Evan spoke and pulled her up in a piggy back.
"Hmmm!" Ria woke up for a second and wound her arms around Evan's neck.
"Here we go!" Evan.
"You're heavy." Evan grabbed the side rails.
"Shut up! Don't talk. I don't know if you'll have to throw your shirt away otherwise." Ria burped again.
"Okay. I am making it fast, just don't puke. Stay still!" Evan.
"hmmm." Ria
Evan went on going down slowly.
"She isn't that heavy. I shouldn't have said that." Evan thought. He stood before the door to the penthouse. Ria opened her eyes and struggled to be let down at once. Evan bent and let her go. She ran off to the washroom. But she couldn't find it. Evan grasped on what she intended to do. He ran in and clutched her arms and then pushed her along himself to the washroom. As Ria emptied her stomach into the toilet Evan kept on holding her hair. He didn't want to touch her, yet he stayed. She was now all wet and dirty and she had lost all her power and energy to even stand still. She collapsed on the tiled floor, her head burning.
"I can't keep her dirty just like this." Evan thought to himself as an idea swept across his mind.
"Uhhh! Should I do that? She won't know anyways." Evan debated.
He picked her up and took the shrugs and the socks off her feet and body. She was still dressed in her loose denims and white full length t-shirt. Evan dumped her into the bathtub and switched the warm shower on. Through the wet white t-shirt he could see her black undergarments. He very slowly lifted her shirt and unbuttoned her denims and pulled them off.
He turned away as his heart throbbed like crazy. He turned around again, and picked her up and made her lean on himself. Likewise the shirt went off. He was as red as a beetroot.
"The skin is so smooth." He thought.
