"Huuuu" Alex let out a deep sigh while thinking of the situation that just happened.
The moment he arrived at his apartment, he noticed that his parents were inside waiting for him in the living room, seeing this moment as an opportunity to talk with his parents he started telling them about his grand plan to make K-POP the new Hollywood but there were some issues he had forgotten to take into consideration, in specific, his mother's tendency in following him everywhere to take care of him.
"Moommm! I don't need you to come with me to Korea, I can take care of myself" said Alex with a pleading voice.
"But Alex you need someone to look after you, you know how you get when you are absorbed in your work" said his mother.
"I have a secretary and there are maids and butlers that I hired for the house, you don't need to look after me!" said Alex while giving his father signals for help.
"Now now, honey I think that what Alex wanted to say was that..." said his father.
Hearing this Alex had a hopeful expression thinking that his father was gonna help him convince his mother of letting him go to Korea alone but hearing the next words of his father, Alex's expression changed from hopeful to despair.
"he doesn't need his mother to take care of him because he doesn't need you anymore, he seems to want to get away from us" said his father giving a smug look to Alex.
"Is this true Alex sob, do you not need mother anymore? sob" said his mother fake crying.
(I should have known that father wasn't going to help me) Alex cursed in his mind. "Mom you know that isn't true, the only person I care for in this world is you" said Alex.
"Then it's settled, I'm going with you to Korea" said his mother with a happy face, knowing that her ploy worked.
"Ahaha Alex you lost, stop trying to go against the impossible" said his father laughing at the situation Alex was in.
"Don't laugh dad! you know that both of us can't go against mother" said Alex with a dissatisfied face. "Don't think this is over old man" Alex whispered to his father.
His father's expression changed from happy to worry, he knew that whatever Alex was planning wasn't gonna end well for him. Alex's mood got better thinking of the revenge he was gonna get from his father's betrayal.
"Alright mom, you can come with me to Korea but on one condition, you and dad are gonna live separated from me" said Alex.
"Ok" said his mother, knowing that she had to compromise on this.
"Hey son, what did you mean by saying this isn't over? hahaha surely you were joking right?" whispered his father to Alex.
"Of course not, you should have known this was coming when you sold me out to mother" said Alex with a face looking for revenge.
His father's faced pale, thinking that staying longer was gonna get him in trouble, his father hurried his mother about leaving Alex alone and going home with the pretense of starting to pack for Korea. His mother happily agreed and left the apartment with his father.
After they left, Alex started making some calls to his team so that they could prepare for their grand plan. His team consisted of:
Secretary - the one person who he trusts the most aside from family and capable enough to be fought over by powerful people.
Bodyguards - personally sought by Alex, the best ex-soldiers from the special forces.
IT - group of hackers put together by Alex, the top 3 hackers of this generation.
All of them are highly loyal to Alex as each and one of them were saved by Alex one way or the other, they treat each other as family.
Tasks were handed out and each person or group was assigned to make the trip to Korea a success. The time they had to complete this plan was only 5 years, each day was full and they had no time to rest. The moment they leave for Korea will be the day their body will be pushed to the limit so that they will be able to finish what was in store for K-POP.
