Π walks home now, with his best friend Plot Setup of course. He can hear words pour out of her mouth, but he doesn't understand them. He doesn't care to. All he can think of right now is the new student. Something about him was different, was new. What was his name again? All that comes to Chadathan's mind right now is Campbell. Soup takes up the majority of π's thoughts.
"Man, that new kid was really something, huh π?"
"That's wild lol."
As Chadathan turned the corner of his house, he found something familiar on the other side. Or, rather, someone. Standing right in front of him was the new kid, whatever his name was. He's propped up against the corner wall, underneath the shade, staring right at π.
His pale skin is highlighted by the honey red color of his eyes. His deep, threatening, furrowed, beautiful, cautionary, swirling, deep, distant, gorgeous eyes. His arms are tensed by his sides, holding his school work and d r e a m j o u r n a l . Chadathan can only imagine what otherworldly secrets are contained in the d r e a m j o u r n a l , but that's none of Chadathan's business. At least not right now wink wink.
"Yo you're the new kid right ahaha"
His gaze doesn't lift from π, but his expression changes from one of coldness to one of coldness.
"You shouldn't talk to me, you know. It's not safe."
"Why ahaha"
"I'm not like you, π. I'm a mess you don't want to get tangled up in. A lie you have to keep living to avoid getting caught."
"Lol what"
"Are you an actual idiot? Are you so incompetant you can't comprehend a simple-"
"I gotta go bye Campbell"
"That's not my name-"
Chadathan left, wishing he could talk to Campari more. Something about him still seemed so intriguing, so captivating. Inhuman, almost. The way his inhuman eyes lay above his inhuman nose, on top of his inhuman mouth. Majestic.
Chadathan reaches his house, unaware of where Plot Setup went. Or just not caring. He sits down to do his learning homework and writes down what he learned today in elaborate situations and questions. He doesn't willingly absorb much information, but I'll be damned if he doesn't try. I am damned, he doesn't try either. Anyways, he's done.
"Hm, if only I could have some soup right now."
Chadathan has some soup right now. Since his tomato soup is all gone, he's resorted to eating mixed vegetable soup. Still good, but absent of the classic appeal of tomato. He still wonders if Campari really did take a part in stealing his soup, but it's late and π's mentally and emotionally tired, so he goes to sleep.
It's summer, Chadathan's in a long, colorful city. He's aware this is dream. He always has. But can't change anything about his surroundings, like normal lucid dreams. Instead he's stuck walking in a beautiful city with no one living in it. Then he sees him. Campari. Standing at the end of the road. He watches as the sun melts him, unmoving. It feels upsetting, but Chadathan doesn't know why. He can't do anything about it. So he watches, stuck. And the sky breaks.
He wakes up in a cold sweat. He doesn't wanna be reminded of puddles though, so he stops. He sees Campari at the foot of his bed, standing still and staring at him. Unmoving. His eyes are now a shade of deep black red. He doesn't move as Chadathan gets up.
"Dude Campbell wtf"
He's gone now. Π is convinced it was a figment of his imagination, and it stays in his mind regardless. Chadathan is starting to think that maybe Campari isn't normal.
