Suffocating edges, trapped inside,
I can't breathe in here,
My tears fighting for space, they collide,
They can't all fit on my face, they can't adhere.
This box is getting tighter,
I grow and grow, the box never changing,
My chest isn't getting lighter,
I feel like I'm hanging.
Here in a box I lay,
Huddled with my knees to my chest,
My hair all astray,
I can't seem to rest.
Life whirls it's colors around me,
But I can't see them,
They're all smeared and gray, I'm not free,
This is how it has been,
And how it'll forever be.
