Chapter 2 - Chapter One: Part One

It's been 5 years since Allison had been raped. Her room was dark, the sun seeping through the darkened curtains. She stared at the light from my couch, debating. . . wondering what the world was like now. She had ignored her so-called friends for what seemed like years.

She went to the window, peeking out past the curtains. Allison lived on the 5th floor of my apartment, looking over a few one or two-story buildings. She watched the people below, they looked like small ants going back and forth from one place to another.

She looked at the door of her apartment then to her room. She stepped away from the window, going to her even darker bedroom. She pulled out a navy blue pullover hoodie, raven black bra, an ebony tank top, a pair of torn blue jeans, and a dark baseball hat. She stared at the clothes that were laid out on the bed then went to the bathroom. She slipped off her clothes and turned the water on to her shower. How long had it been since she took a shower? She sniffed herself then wrinkled her nose, about a week she guessed.

Allison looked in the mirror silently. She looked at her small breasts then her slightly visible ribcage. She rubbed her arms nervously. She then sighed and climbed into the shower, under the warm water. She stood there silently as the warm water poured over her head, listening to the pitter-patter.

She cleaned her hair and body, leaving the shower. She dried herself off then looked at the mirror again. She pulled out a pair of scissors and began to cut her long brown hair off. She began to cry as she did so but once she finished she felt better. She got dressed and headed out to the real world, weary.

She walked along the busy sidewalk, her hood and hat covering her face. She bumped into a few people, apologizing but many glared or scolded her for not watching where she was going. The world felt even worse than it was before. She continued forward in a panic, soon slipping into the closest shop.

After closing the door Allison spun around, her eyes widening to the sight of millions of beautiful flowers. Her hands shook as she stared in awe. A man then turned the corner with a pen and clipboard in his hands. He had a slight chiseled feature and short brown hair that was slicked back with gel. His eyes were a bright blue, almost white.

"Oh! Welcome. How can I help you?" He approached her with a soft smile. She stared silently, "Don't talk much, huh?"

She slightly shook her head, grabbing the doorknob nervously.

"Well that's alright, are you looking for a specific flower?" The gentleman asked with a kind and warming smile. His canines didn't seem human. She remembered the rabid killings around the city on the news and her dark green eyes widened a little beneath her hat. She then hesitantly shook her head. He looked slightly disappointed, "So, what's the reason for rushing into my flower shop?"

She stared at his chiseled features then glanced around her and looked back at him, "I... I was l-looking for a p-place to get a-away f-from the cr-crowed." She horribly stuttered towards him.

"She speaks!" He chuckled, his laugh smooth yet hard, "Well, you can stay as long as you need to. I don't mind as long as you're not in my way."

"Oh, th-that's fine. I'll get o-out of y-your way." She said nervously and quite.

"W-Wait!" He placed his hand on her shoulder softly before she could push the door open, his hand slightly heavy on her skinny body. She yelped a little with a slight jump, "I'm sorry... I was just wondering if you wanted to get tea sometime."

Allison glanced at the hand on her shoulder then back at him. He was about 6'3, "I... I'll think about it..." She mumbled then rushed out into the exploding crowd of Tokyo.
