Star Light looked at her son with a confused expression, she was getting a bad feeling but she decided that she should at least hear him out. She looked at one of the wolves and gave a short nod.
After about two minutes later the wolf appeared once again with the red wolf following him from behind. Sun Blaze looked at the circle of wolves that surrounded the young pup and gave Star Light a curious gaze.
The white wolf looked at her son and nodded "Alright Viper Pup he's here now tell us what is your plan. Whatever it is we must hurry, we have no idea when the Blood Clan and Swamp Clan wolves will arrive."
Ryan gave her a short nod and looked at the red wolf "I would like Sunblaze to go and start a fire in the forest of one of our enemies territories."
Almost immediately most of the wolves began rejecting the idea.
"I knew we shouldn't have wasted our time on an inexperienced pup."
"If we were to start a forest fire and it reaches the other clan's territory then we would be hated by all."
"Not only that but the fire could also spread to our own territory and we would lose everything."
Ryan simply listened to them and stood tall as he began shaking his head, 'Is this seriously what they are worried about right now? I get that they are animals but they have to be smarter than this right?'
Suddenly he heard a growl and turned around to see his mother baring her fangs at the wolves, they quickly stayed silent and he continued.
"Listen there's no need to worry about the other clans hating us if none of us are here. Also haven't you thought about the fact that if our clan is defeated by our enemies then we are going to lose our territory either way. As for the inexperienced pup statement that's not actually false however does anyone have another idea? If we started a fire in the Blood Clan then they would quickly send some wolves to help their clan. The fire would also alert the other clans and my father that something is happening. Then there's also the possibility that humans will appear in their territory to try to stop the fire, hopefully, the Blood Clan will suffer greatly for what they have done."
The wolves around him looked at the young pup with a mixture of feelings, he was indeed extremely mature for his age and his plan had reasoning behind it. The thing that bothered them was that he seemed to accept that the clan might be wiped too easily. Yes they were being faced by two enemies however wasn't he underestimating them too much, there was no way that they would let their clan be destroyed.
They all looked at the female alpha hoping that she would ignore her son and start coming to with a battle plan. Most of the wolves present let out a relieved breath when they saw her shake her head.
The white wolf looked at her blue-furred pup and sighed "We can't do something like that Viper Pup, the forest is what gives us our meals and shelter, how could we burn it down? Then there is the name of the Tempest Clan that we have to think about. Moon Heart has finally been able to regain some of our dignity after he took the position of alpha, there is no way that I can let the results of his efforts crumble."
Ryan looked at Star Light with total disbelief as he thought 'You are going to let us all die for stupid pride? Who the hell would care about the name of a clan if pretty soon there would be no clan left.'
"But mother...β¦."
She shook her head again and looked at Dust Thorn "Take him back with the other pups and hide the opening of the den. You and the other three are in charge of reconstructing our clan if necessary."
Star Light gave him one last look and smiled "Make sure that you actually listen to them alright?"
She turned around and began giving orders to the wolves that walked up to her. Ryan was lifted from the skin of his neck by Dust Thorn and taken towards the den.
Ryan quickly tried to find another way to increase their chances of surviving but at the moment he couldn't think about anything. Then it suddenly hit him 'The skills, I haven't refreshed them since I wanted to purchase the sound manipulation. I was going to use it and help the clan but if there isn't one then what's the point.'

He quickly glanced through the list looking for something helpful, ' Lava claws are useless at the moment, I'm still a pup and having to fight against others that are stronger and have similar abilities will get myself killed. Wind Step sounds interesting but I don't think it'll be helpful with helping the others survive.'
When Ryan looked at the next skill he was about to curse out loud but he managed to stop himself. "Huh, the fuck is this? Frog language? ..... Wait, that actually doesn't sound bad, wouldn't being able to chat with frogs be useful to spy? I mean who the hell would think about being wary of frogs? Still though at the moment it isn't useful unless it gives me the ability to ask the help of some seriously strong frogs. Are there any poison dart frogs close by?"
He quickly skipped over speared tail since it had the same limitations as the Lava claws
The next skill made a chill run through his body, making Dust Thorn stop and put him down, "Viper Pup are you okay?"
Ryan nodded and began walking towards the den as his head began processing the possibilities.
'Umm hey god, are you sure that this is a skill that you should be giving? I mean aren't demons supposed to be hated by god. This only makes the statement that I said when we met even more true, you really are the devil hehe.'
He looked at the skill once more 'Low-level demon summoning? Only for 200 points, why is it so cheap? Are the demons it summons weak or something? Would I be able to use this skill or would it be locked like my Evil Projection skill since I have no mana? I have so many questions but out of all the skills, this is the one that has the most promise, who knows I might be able to summon a bunch of them and help out. Well, let's hope it's my lucky day.

Ding - skill purchased
[Remaining: 40 CP]
{Low-Level Demon Summoning}
[Grants the user the ability to summon a demon once a day for a duration of 10 minutes. To summon the demon the user must provide it with a corpse that was killed by the user. The demon will possess both its abilities and the abilities of its dead host and will fight for the user until the time is over or the body of the host is completely destroyed]
[At the moment that the user purchases this skill a random demon will be summoned. Once the user Ranks up the skill he will be allowed to enter the demon dimension and form summoning contracts with other demons of his choice. The duration time and the number of summons per day will also increase. If the user ever wants to summon the demon in physical form than a higher level demon summoning skill is required]
Ryan read through the skill and was amazed by it 'This is great, just like my Powerful Legs skill I'm able to use it.'
Suddenly his mood began to turn bad. 'It's a great skill and all, the limitations on the summoning times per day and the duration suck but it's better than nothing. The thing that got me was the fact that I actually have to kill something.'
He looked at Dust Thorn who was behind him and began to consider something but he sighed and began to shake his head. 'No, the whole point is to save the clan, not begin to kill the members to summon demons. Besides, I doubt that I could kill him, and even if I could I like his personality, and he did save my life after all.'
He stopped and looked at the sky and closed his eyes focusing on using his summoning skill, out of nowhere a cold feminine voice rang in his ears. "What is it that you want?"
Ryan looked around but found no one other than him and the brown wolf behind him.
'Are you the demon?'
Once again the voice rang in his head 'No shit, now answer me what exactly do you want?'
By now he had already entered the den and the wolves who argued for a bit had begun to cover the entrance with a stone wall that was being made by a stone wolf that looked like Fire Claw, but it turned out that he could coat himself in lava. He was shooting it out of his mouth and Ash Fur cooled it with his water.
When they had almost finished they looked at Dust Thorn and a green female wolf who were inside with the pups, "Dust Thorn, Grass Blade make sure that you protect those pups with your life. If we perish you two will become the alphas and will have to make sure that the Tempest Clan comes back stronger than ever."
Dust Thorn growled and shook his head "I should be outside with you Ash Fur, someone else can take my place."
"No, you were mentored by our Alpha. You are more qualified than anyone else. Viper Pup make sure you grow strong and help the others, know that both your father and mother love you."
Suddenly there was a splashing noise and growling that was followed by howls. They could hear Ash Fur growling "Swamp Clan has shown up, they came for the river. I wish you all the best."
After his last words, the small hole that was left was splat by magma that quickly began to get hardened. Dust Thorn and Wind Blade looked at the pups who were shivering as they huddled around Viper Pup and forced a smile "Relax little guys, try to slow down your breathing after we defeat the bad guys we will take away all the rocks and brake out of here with the help of Grass Blade okay."
"Hey, I'm still waiting here, answer me what do you want?"
Ryan was brought back from his thoughts and shook his head to get himself focused, 'Right sorry Umm at the moment we are being attacked. One of our enemy clan came from the river meaning that Blood Clan will most likely come from the forest and trap my clan in a pincer attack. Do you think that you could go into the forest and kill as many wolves as you can?"
The icey voice seemed to become annoyed as it responded "Well I could but there's one problem, where is the host's body that I'm supposed to possess?"
He sighed and closed his eyes, trying to imagine the demon that he was talking with 'Umm about that I don't have a corpse that was personally killed by me but there is a dead one whose death I caused do you think that's okay?"
There was a moment of silence before the voice answered "Well I guess that for this one time It'll be okay. Just know that this is going to cost you a few souls in order to summon me again as recompense for this favor. So where is the body?"
'Err could you just take the souls from the wolves that you kill?'
"Haha, sorry brat but they have to willingly give them up. You can get the souls by torturing them until they want to make the pain stop. As soon as they agree with it then you will absorb them into your body and when you summon me again I'll take them off your hands. I'm not really picky on what type of souls you get since you are nothing but a pup. Now tell me where is the corpse of the one you indirectly killed?"
Ryan sat down with his ears dropping "About that the body is actually all the way in that direction across that layer of newly formed rock. It's a black wolf with a bite on his neck and deep cuts across his side."
"Ugh, you're killing me here. Next time make sure that you are closer to it okay. I'm still able to access the body but it will require a good amount of my magic meaning that the time I can possess it will be decreased to about half. Well, then it looks like it's time to work, Cya."
Everyone inside the den was listening to the growls and various different sounds of explosions and impacts. Meanwhile, Ryan was praying that the demon could produce enough damage to the Blood Clan so that they would retreat or at least give his clan a fair chance of winning.
