After I received the message from Taichi, I decided to come to the company.
"Excuse me. Is Tachibana Taichi in today?" I asked the receptionist.
"Yes he is. Would you like me to have him come and get you?"
"That would be nice. Thank you." I nodded.
This company was just as big as my father's. Tonight, I will need to leave home and move to my new apartment. Kinosuke will be able to get my room, and he will be able to play video games freely without his mother nagging him. I guess it's a win for him.
"I'm glad you made it." Taichi walked up to me.
"I should be thanking you, Taichi. Without you offering me a job, I would have been jobless."
"Shall I show you around the company?" Taichi offered.
"Sure. I would love to know which division I am going to be in." I answered. Whether it being the sales team division, the marketing division, or any other division, I wouldn't mind.
"Huh? Division?" Taichi questioned.
"I'm going to a division, right?" I asked.
"Well, if you call being a secretary a division..."
What? Wait...WHAT?! I'm going to be a secretary?!
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well you see, The CEO of this company has had his eyes on you ever since your father visited his company." Taichi explained.
"Wait. What company is this, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Hayato Heights." Taichi smiled.
As I thought. "I understand. When will I meet him?"
"Right now. He is coming this way." Taichi pointed behind me.
I turned around and saw that cheeky little flamboyant piece of crap.
"Secretary Kim! Long time no see." Hayato Ikeda, the CEO of Hayato Heights, stretched his arms out wide from side to side.
You may be wondering why he called me Kim instead of Raishin. I used my mother's maiden name due to my father wanting to keep the fact that he has a daughter secret. He knew that if he let other companies know that he had a daughter, they would want to marry me. Raishin and Hayato are the two biggest companies in Tokyo. I don't blame anyone who would be willing to marry into fame.
"Same to you, Mr. Ikeda." I bowed to Hayato.
"Drop the formalities. You are going to be my secretary anyway. Call me Hayato. It's in the name of the company." Hayato winked.
I felt like I wanted to die. I hate this guy so much. He is so young. Possibly around my age. Most company owners are older like my dad, but due to Hayato's father's death, he is now the owner of the company. "Sure, Hayato."
"Oh my God! Secretary Kim calling me by my first name? It feels like such an honor!" Hayato sarcasticly put the back of his hand against his head and sighed.
"Do I really have to be the secretary of this guy, Taichi?" I looked at Taichi.
"I'm sorry, but yes. Sadly, he asked you to be his secretary." Taichi sighed. "Well then. I will be heading to the marketing team now."
"Wait! Don't leave me, Taichi! Not with this guy!" I reached out to Taichi, but he left before hearing me.
Hayato then gave me a smile. "That hurts, secretary Kim."
"But it's true. I don't want to be left with you." I frankly told him.
"We need to go to our first meeting in 5 minutes." Hayato informed me.
"Wait...what?! Where is this meeting?"
"In Saitama."
"That's fifteen minutes by train."
"But ten minutes by car."
"We will still be late."
"Well, then we should probably leave now."
Jesus. This guy.
