The young man is not even in the valley.
Instead, hidden beneath a very foggy area within the valley, there is a small opening, as if it was just some crack in the mountain. There is a very small stream flowing down from the rock and that small crack is sucking in a teeny tiny bit of that stream.
Sam turned his body into water using water elemental fusion and merged himself with the stream.
His body slowly went through the crack at the same pace as the water. He landed in a small water body that is bigger than a puddle and smaller than a pond. He didn't come out and make his presence known immediately.
Instead, he spread his observation ability.
He is inside a small hollow room. There is no entrance or exit apart from the small crack from which he poured himself in. The room is rather small.
It is not even fit for a real proper fight.
