Christos looked at the Dean for a moment in silence.
After some time, he stood up and said.
"You are overthinking this. The flaming skulls are nothing but a gang of rats that hide after making a small hole in a mountain. They are not the concern now, the Gambler's academy is. It seems like you became too obsessed with them."
He turned around and walked out.
Dean chuckled once again and looked at the sky through the open window.
"I never knew that all the respect I garnered was only because of my position. It wasn't because of virtue and it wasn't because of strength, purely because of my position.
And now that the position is gone, even a grade 2 student is lecturing me, saying that my speculations are wrong.
