Sam's frown deepened. Because of their perilous situation, he assumed that Giyon just really doesn't want him to get involved in this get hurt. Not because she cared for him, but there are a lot of plans depending on him for her and her brother's future.
He has been in the situation before, so he didn't think much into it.
But now that the Black Witch highlighted it, he couldn't help but think that way.
