This realm is not actually overly powerful. The most powerful guy here is Vidyut. As much as the powers in the realm say that they are paying him to keep them safe from external powers, it is complete bullshit.
The realms surrounding this realm and had connections with are the more or less the same level. With that level, starting a realm war is more like suicide as the side that initiated the war would be in an extremely disadvantageous position until they managed to take a foothold in the attacked realm.
