Chapter 6 - Dinner (6)

The women stood up clearly angered "I-"

"Ah so I think I should be going. All of this was a big confusion bye then." Sprinting like a dog in the wind Haley kissed the floor and soon ran again not feeling any of the pain.

Panting she frantically slid the card into the door down the hall. Still embarrassed she ran inside and sat against the door processing what she just saw "How was I so calm? How was he so hot? Should I have stayed to explain myself? Should I say sorry tomorrow."

In realization she hopped up smiling "That's what i'll do! I'll talk to him tomorrow and say sorry." Running into one of the bathrooms there was a strange feeling of excitement. And she was yet to realize why she was happy at all.

[9am]

An annoyed and hazardous look beamed on Haley's face as she looked at the phone waking her from her beauty sleep.

"Who is it?"

Heathers bright voice sounded "Hey! What time did you get in last night? Do you need more sleep? Should we ha-"

"No more nagging. I got in super late I think i'll take this day to rest you guys can go out though I don't mind. I have something to do as well." A tinge of a smile formed on her face.

"What something would you you have to do in Korea?"

"Sleep."

Despite her apparent "need to sleep" she got up to go visit her neighbor.

Looking slightly nicer than usual she went to knock on the mans door.

"Hello sir?"

After about a minute and a few more knocks no one answered the door. Finally giving up she decided to head back a frown formed.

But suddenly the door was opened and she was once again greeted by his handsome face.

Her rambling from last night continued "Sir I just wanted to say I'm sorry for going into your room and possibly causing your fiancé to imagine weird things. I was really confused and out of it-"

The man put his finger on her lips bending down to get to her eye level.

"Don't call me sir. I'll sound old and if you're so aggrieved treat me to dinner or something." His face not reveling any emotions she couldn't tell what he was thinking. But despite that her enthusiasm got the best of her and she readily nodded "Is now okay?"

He nodded and as she turned a faint smile was shown on his face. Only for a half a second but it was there.
