Remi wakes up on a Tuesday morning as the little brat from next door knocks on the front door. Rolling her eyes, she lifts herself off the couch and opens the door. The little girl, Genevieve, runs in and plops down in the recliner next to Remi's grandma, she always annoys her. Remi chuckles to herself as she digs through her boxes for some clothes to wear and a towel. She jumps in the shower and starts to lather herself when her phone starts ringing, "Hello?" It's Darren. "Hey Babe?" Darren asks. "What are your plans for today?" Remi smiles, "Nothing really, just waiting on Chipotle to call me back. Why? What's up?" Remi responds, getting undressed. "I wanna come over after work, I got a shit ton of surprises for you." She can hear the smile in his voice. "Okay babe, just come over whenever. I'll be here." They hang up and she jumps into the shower. After bathing herself and shaving she washes her hair, that hangs down past her ass, rinses it and turns the water off. "HURRY THE HELL UP I GOTTA PISS!" Her grandma screams from the other side of the door. She rolls her eyes and starts to dry off. She slides into her high waisted jeans that hug her hips, and slipped on her tube top and socks. Remi walks out of the bathroom and as expected her grandma had something to say, "What the fuck are you wearing? Where do you think you're going dressed like that?" Remi replies snotty as hell, "Wherever I want, grandma, im a grown woman, If I wanna show my body to the world I can. The only person who can stop me is myself." Remi walks past her and out the front door to climb into her sister's car. Once she was in the car her sister asked her what was wrong. "Fucking grandma just HAD to comment on my outfit." Taryn started laughing, "Yea that's grandma for ya." She takes off down the street. They left extra early because they had to take Taryn's boy toy, Tobi, to work.
They pull up at Tobi's place and Remi gets out to climb into the back seat. At Tobi's there were a bunch of people on his front porch, "Dayum lil mama, What's yo name?" Remi turned around to see a tall, lanky, light skinned guy with shoulder length dreads, walking in her direction. She stood there looking at him 'Damn he's sexy as fuck, but I got Darren. I better get in the car before he comes any closer, Oh fuck too late.' The guy is right in her face, he puts a hand on the dip of her lower back and pulls her close to him. Remi freezes as she feels his dick on her stomach. She's internally freaking out so bad she became stiff and almost started crying. "Damn girl you thick as fuck." Remi breaks eye contact and looks off to the side towards Tobi's car. "Aye, yo! Back the fuck up nigguh!" She hears her sister yell from the driver's side door. She snaps out of her frozen state and noticed Taryn talking to Tobi. Tobi jumps out of the car and grabs Remi's bicep and opens the back car door for her. As she's sitting in the car she begins crying silently, watching Tobi confront the guy. She tunes everything out and puts her headphones in. Listening to Panic at the Disco she closes her eyes and lays her head back. She fell asleep.
As she opens her eyes she notices they are stuck in traffic on the way back from Tobi's job. Remi takes out her headphones and hits the blunt Taryn has been trying to pass her. Soon they get back into town and drop Wylder, Remi's nephew. and Genevieve off at school. Afterwards they drove to their childhood friend's house, David. Taryn was gonna braid his hair for $30 so she could get some weed and rillos. So Remi's just standing around looking at David's barber shop set up in the dining room. As her sister takes the money from David Remi started walking to Taryn's car. When she gets a phone call from her boyfriend, Darren, "Hey babe, I got off work early and I'm getting PTO for the rest of the week! I'm on my way over right now." Remi gets all giddy as she slides into Taryn's car. "Whatcha so happy about?" Taryn asks starting the car. Remi smiles at her, "Darren is coming over and he said he has a few surprises for me." Taryn nods and smiles back.
They pull up at the house and notice a black jeep in front of the carport gate. Remi cocked her head to the side and looked at Taryn. She shrugs and pulls up behind it. They get out and the wind whips Remi's hair around. As she grabs it and tries to fix it, she noticed her grandma walking out of the house holding her backpack and laptop. Her grandma smiles up at her, "Surprise! You're moving out!" Remi stopped walking, "Whatchu talkin' 'bout?" Her grandma gestures to the front door. She walked inside to notice all her stuff was gone and Darren is there holding her boxes. He puts them down and Remi jumped into his arms, "Baby what does my grandma mean? I'm moving out?" Darren smiled at her, "Babe, I got us a place. It's a two bedroom condo downtown," Remi squealed a little and Darren chuckled. "How?" Remi asks. "I got my tax return, $23,000. You should be getting yours soon too. We'll use the rest of mine to furnish the house and buy new clothes. With yours I'll let you do whatever." Remi smiled and squealed again. Darren chuckled as he picked up her boxes to carry them to the Jeep. Remi gave her grandma and grandpa hugs as she said goodbye. Remi jumped into the passenger seat of the Jeep and put her seatbelt on. She wiggled a little to get comfy in her seat as Darren drove off to go pick up Antonio so they can start moving stuff in.
