"May I have your attention please!" I yelled out to the crowd.
One problem. The crowd was fixated on what was happening that they weren't focusing on me. Instead, they were all murmuring about the situation.
So, I grabbed my spell book. "Shhhh." I hushed everyone and sent my dark magic through them. It was a good thing that I put some of my skill points into dark magic. I was able to gain a skill called "paralysis."
"Is everyone's attention on me?" I asked the crowd. Everyone didn't say anything because they were paralyzed. "Oh, yeah. Anyway, I know that you all are worried about this whole 'guild wars' think, but freight not. I have a solution."
"And what's that?" Someone asked, as their paralysis started wearing off.
"To not participate." I explained. "We just don't fight each other."
"We can do that?" The person questioned.
"Well, It's the logical answer, don't you think so?"
"Yeah."
Suddenly, after tha parylization weared off, everyone began talking to each other. Then everyone turned their attention back to me and nodded their heads.
"So, we just not fight?" Another person asked.
"Exactly." I answered.
Right after I answered everyone was teleported to the duel arena. Expect this one was bigger. I suspect that this is sort of like a tournament.
I looked forward and saw thw guild we were fighting against. It was that guy who kept on edging on Yazoyo to attack Eiji.
"Long time no see, eh?" The guy smiled.
"I guess." I answered, looking down at my settings button. I noticed that there was an announcement in my notifications. "Huh?"
"Today's winning number is 30." The announcement read.
"What? What does that mean?" I questioned.
"Maybe it's the lucky number or something?" Yumi suggested.
"Whatever. Let's not fight for now. Let's wait it out." I said to my guild.
"So, we just stand here?" The other guild leader asked.
"Pretty much."
"But that number must mean something." The guy pondered. "Hey, do any of you guys happen to know how many guilds there are?"
After hearing his question, I realized something. I opened up my Issekai New World handbook (tells all the guilds and characters) and looked in the guilds section.
My heart dropped after seeing the number. "56 guilds..."
"Don't tell me..." The other guild leader became pale.
Another announcement then popped up into our notifications.
"Hello Everyone.
We heard that you all suddenly don't want to fight each other. Because of this, we decided to limit the number of guilds there are I'm the game. Due to the over population of guilds, we decided to limit the amount to 30. On the contrary, if no one wants to battle, then they will be erased from existence. That is all! Thank you! (*ﾟ▽ﾟ)ﾉ."
"Erased from existence?" I reread the part.
"Does this mean that we do have to fight each other?" The guild leader asked.
This was the one thing I didn't want happening. We will all be forced to kill each other. No one wants to die...
