I've never felt such pain. one moment I was fine before my body began to crack before shattering into bits the size of dust molecules. The next I was healed again. The destruction took just under a second but felt like eternity. The healing was instantaneous as soon as the destruction ended I was whole again, but it instantly repeated. Worse still I felt each crack tear and spilt in my body more vividly than anything I've ever felt.
I was even conscious of when my body became a blood mist. I would probably wonder at how such a miracle was created if it wasn't destroying me every second. The only thing keeping me going is that I couldn't let even one light go out. My family needed me.
After the first hour the process pauses for 15 minutes were the contestants would get to relax, refocus, and reset their bracelets for the following hour. As soon as I could see clearly I rechecked the lights on my screen. Seeing all 87 lights, I smile.
The core disciple said this test would improve our bodies. Looking inside my body I was shocked. my strength had increased by 60% and more importantly my body had gone to the highest attainable tier 9 mortal body. I had heard there were higher tier mortal bodies but that you needed rare treasures to reach them. With a tier 9 mortal body I would be 9 times faster in training mage or knight path. A tier nine body also provided better base defense strength, agility, and dexterity than the tier 3 body I started with.
I had my body destroyed and rebuilt from the molecular level up 3,600 times in the last hour. Now I had 15 minutes of rest to decide what level I wanted to go at going forward. Part of me wished there was no pause, as I was sorely tempted to lower the pain I would feel. I saw 2 people had already quit when I looked around.
Firming my will I choose the top difficulty again. Looking around at the other prospective faction leaders most sneer at me. One faction leader looks at me contemplatively though before she comes to a decision. I see a hard glint in her eye before her bracelet turns the same black as mine.
Seeing the other trial takers bracelets light up different colors I checked the trial bored inside the building

Comparing the board to the color of people's bracelets 3 chose green, 1 choose yellow and orange, and 3 choose blue. me and the female faction leader with a steely gaze are the only 2 to choose black.
Before I could think of anything else my body began to break again. holding onto the thought of my faction, my family, I persevered through the long hours of the trial.

We are on the final hour. There is only 6 faction leaders remaining. The core disciple and the elders have become completely shocked by me and the female who chose to follow me on the hardest difficulty. Two other test takers tried it, one quit and the other lowered his difficulty as soon as that hour was over.
During the last couple of hours I noticed my bloodline was further changing. The dragon blood I had used previously was changing my blood on a intrinsic level. Before my secret method allowed me to slowly change my bloodline to that of a dragon. Now instead of changing it to a dragon, my blood was evolving into something new. I jave know clue as to what is going on and can only hope to figure it out in the Academy.
As this hour progresses my bones start to harden and glow, my blood rushing through my veins like a flood. Even with all the surfering a part of me still wants this test to continue a few hours longer. Admittedly only a part.

" Pausing to check that we understood he began again , "Firstly the points you earned in this group are called merit points. They can be used to strengthen yourself on an individual level here in the Academy. You are able to trade them with other students as well. All new inner students get 100 merit points, while outer ones receive 20. Now the big thing to know is that none of your followers were killed be this test. This is the only test that stays the same every year, we will place a blood seal on you so you can't share information about this test. Merit points are often used to buy training manuals, pay for private lessons including martial ones. They are spent on pills for refining your body minds and increasing your magic/ vital qi. The points your faction earned in the hunting test are called Faction Points. there are few ways to earn these and you will find them out later. Faction Points are used for faction growth. There is the war simulation chamber that allows you to choose an enemy and their number, this is a great training tool. Each use of the war simulation chamber is 1,000 Faction Points. Another use for Faction Points is in the forge chamber. The forge chamber has tier 9 arcanist who will forge you body. You will have to provide the material you wish to be forged with, my advice is to use at least 300 pounds of mystic metal as your base. You can use merit points to enter the chamber as well. It costs 1,000 points to enter, wether as a faction or an individual. The top 3 from this test also receive an additional reward. First place Jason recieves 100 Fiend-Devil pills, a tier 8 body forging pill, they are extremely painful so be aware. Second place Michelle revieves 100 Fire-and-Ice pills, a tier 7 body forging pill, they are half as painful as the tier 8 pills but also half as effective. And third place Reginald recieves 100 Diamond-Body pills, tier 6 pills. Use these pills well as it will be a long time before you see a pill above tier 5 again. Before the mages become discouraged you will come to realize that even though you fight from a distance you still need a strong body to properly cast magic spells of a higher level or even lower level ones at a quicker speed.
