Marcus packed a bag. He was now nothing to his brothers but an outsider and without Ariel he would not be able to go on.
Dear Harry,
I am no use now to anyone. You have Lily and my Brothers have each other. I know you say that you and Lily need me but you really don't.
I am going over seas to find a new life with out my love and brothers. So take care. I left all account info in the black book. Set up a trust fund for Lily from me.
Marcus
He left the letter and walked out the door.
Lily got home first and her bodyguard found the letter and called Harrison. After reading the contact Harrison rushed home calling Commander Jones and Harper. The calls would not go through.
Marcus stepped off the plane in the little country of Ireland and walked out of the airport. He then checked into a little bed and breakfast. Tomorrow he would find a little town to start over in.
Ariel woke the next morning feeling drained.
Paul smiled and wispers, "I'm going to get you out of here. You are in real danger."
Her eyes went big. Then Doctor James came in with her morning shot.
"Goods yous is awakes." he said walking over. "Yous needs to takes it easys fors a fews days."
Ariel picked up her notebook and wrote:
[What happened?]
"Yous has to muchs suns. Rests tos days"
[I will rest in the shade I promise but I like looking at the water. Please]
"Rests todays. Tomorrows yous cans goes out."
She shook her head yes and looked at Paul.
"I'll get her food doctor. Rest up Miss" He then walked out. This would be good, he could make plans to get her away then. Tomorrow was supply day.
When he came back he had already written a note.
[Miss, tomorrow go swimming at the water down the path. I will be there with the boat. We need to not let the doctor know he is becoming very crazy.]
Ariel slipped the letter under her pillow so as not to be discovered. She ate her meals and took her treatments. She just hoped tomorrow would get here soon.
Harrison once again tried to contact the Commander with no luck. What was going on with this group. As he looked for clues he found Marcus's phone and credit cards that were also left behind. He pick up his brothers phone and looked. The last person he talked to was JJ and the last person he called was Cindy. So Harrison called Cindy.
"Marcus, I can't help you." She said answering the phone.
"This is Harrison, Marcus has left for good. I need to talk to the guys."
"Holy shit, just a minute."
Harrison could hear her running and doors being opened and shut. Then he heard "You need to talk to him now." "Tell him I'll call him back later" "No, if you don't talk to him now you will regret it." "Give me the phone I'll talk to him."
"Hello, this is Tubby."
"This is Harrison, what did Marcus tell the Commander last night?"
"Not sure, but JJ is busy right now. I can have him call you back soon."
"Never mind, I'll find someone to track my brother down. I don't know what you did to him but he is gone and said he will never be back. Some friends you are."
"Wait, shit he is gone? Did he leave a note? Does he have his phone?"
"Yes, he left a note. No I am on his phone right now. He even left his credit cards."
"Shit, Hold on." Tubby said and then Harrison could hear things being moved around. Then typing. What is going on.
Then he could hear people talking but could not make out what they were saying.
"Harrison, JJ said he called Marcus last night because he left a message he needed to talk. He wanted to know what we were doing but because it is classified he could not say. Marcus was upset and hung up on JJ. JJ said he thought we should leave Marcus alone he will come back once he calmed down."
"You really don't know my brother. Thanks for not helping." Harrison hung up.
Tubby stared at the phone for a moment before handing it to Cindy. He then looked at the computer screen his tracker chip in his watch said he was at home. He left with no way to track him.
Kara worked in the lab mixing in ingredients to the potion she was making as JJ and Harper watched. They kept a close eye on her. She smiled a creepy grin.
"Explain what you are doing?" JJ asked.
"I am making a compound that when I drink it will let me leave this body and go into the body I choose. The one I completed will need to be given to the cry baby after I am gone so he won't die. The one I will make next will let me stay in the body for the rest of its life. You will need to give it at the first sign of me waking up."
"When will you tell us about Ariel?" Harper asked.
"When I wake up. I will die without this potion so to make sure you give it to me I will with hold the information till I wake up. I know you want to really kill me." She smiled at them.
Tubby worked like a mad man on trying to locate Richie with no luck. He looked at all the passengers list for the last 24 hours. Marcus's name was not on any of them. He then looked at train and bus logs with no luck. He needed help with this but Marcus was the one they always called.
Harper came out for a short break and Tubby explained what was going on.
"That Son of a Bucket, why did he do this?" Harper slammed his coffee cup down.
"We should of told him. I knew we should of told him, given him something to do. By cutting him out he felt as if we no longer needed him so he left. I can't figure out where he went."
Harper picked up the travel logs and flipped through it and stopped on AM Thomas.
