A long line of mourners gathered in the grand foyer of an immaculate and enormous main building at the Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral home in Highland Park, a swanky upscale neighborhood in Dallas. This building, and entrance, proved once again that everything was bigger in Texas - even funeral homes!
Three siblings had just buried their mother and were standing in the reception room down the hall preparing to greet the assembled guests who had arrived for an elaborate luncheon. They were going over last minute details and making a final review of all the arrangements before entertaining the crowd.
Sarah, a stunning 55-year-old, was outfitted in an elegant black, short-sleeved sheath dress. It showed off her trim figure and slim legs as she paced the room anxiously waiting for things to start. She walked over and hugged her stepbrother, Bobby, placing her head on his shoulder. "I'm really about done with all of this."
He gently rubbed a hand across her back. "Me too." Bobby was also 55-years-old, older than Sarah by a mere two months, and was dressed in a sharp black suit that was perfectly tailored. At his age, he had thankfully remained in pretty fit condition as well.
The youngest of the trio was Ella, who at 51-years-old looked at least ten years younger. She was attired in a sleek black dress and blazer combo that also showed off her fabulous body. "And if I have to hear one more person tell me how sorry they are, or how wonderful everything is...I swear...I'm going to spit in their eye."
The three of them had been carrying out their mother's wishes as dutiful children but, sadly, not out of any profound sense of love or loss. There had never been much love - or understanding, compassion or humanity - from their mother, so it was hard for them to reciprocate. Even in her death.
The only thing they were doing differently from her very specific instructions was this last part. Instead of inviting everyone back to the cavernous estate on Beverly Drive that their mother had called home, and had been the place these three stepsiblings had grown up, the kids decided to hold the reception right at the funeral home instead.
Individually, each of them wished they could have felt some genuine loss for her or had any kind of depth of feeling for the recently departed woman - something that had been quite evident and abundant when their father passed away. But, after years of her constant complaining, and judging, and criticisms...well, they were all just ready to be done with everything at this point and move on with their lives.
It should have been telling that none of their respective spouses or partners had shown up this weekend - not for the calling hours or the funeral. Their mother had long ago severed any chance of having a meaningful relationship with any of them. So, the sibling were left to themselves. However, the thought couldn't escape any of them that somewhere their mother was probably disappointed in them. Even in death, she cast a very large shadow over them.
"Here they come," Ella announced as a warning, taking note of the assembly of people heading toward them.
Some of the many guests she knew, most of them she did not. None of them really did. These people were a product of a world in which their mother had lived. It had been her world, not theirs. Yet, Ella couldn't help but wonder what these people would think if they had actually known her mother - or, at least, the mother she and her siblings had grown up with.
In Highland Park, the only thing that ever mattered - the only thing that really ever counted for anything - was appearance. It was as if everyone lived in an alternate universe. What you saw was a mirage, an image projected for the sake of fitting in and to create a sense of belonging. It was fake. All of it. Just the memory of it disgusted Ella, and she turned away from the approaching people to go stand in one of the corners to gaze out across the large expanse of graves.
As the crowd began filing in, Bobby and Sarah were there to shake hands and greet them while Ella kept her distance. She just couldn't face them, not anymore. She had reached her limit of pretentiousness for one weekend, thank you very much, and was eager to go back home to her girlfriend in Austin - or to be anywhere other than this place.
Ella had always been the more sensitive and compassionate of the three, so there was no need to explain herself or make excuses to her siblings. They instinctively understood, and were prepared to protect her unequivocally.
Whereas Sarah and Bobby had always taken their mother in stride and seemed to deflect her insults and insinuations, Ella had taken them personally. Of course, after a brief failed marriage right out of college, Ella began seeing Chrissy - the same woman she shared her life with today, many decades later. Their mother never understood Ella's lifestyle - not that she really tried - insisting her daughter was simply going through a phase. As a result, Ella came around less and less.
Truthfully, Bobby and Sarah were surprised their sister had held out as long as she had this weekend.
When the seemingly endless line had ended and everyone was seated at tables eating an elaborate lunch, Bobby made his way over to Ella. He came up from behind as she was still staring out the large window at the beautifully manicured grass.
"You ok?" he whispered, hoping not to startle her too badly.
She nodded her head - the only response she gave.
He touched her right shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze. A small gesture but one he hoped would convey his feelings. When he motioned to leave, Ella rounded on him. Her radiant green eyes were filled with tears and her cheeks were moist. "Oh, Bobby," she sighed, and moved into his open embrace.
To those in the room, it was a solemn scene. One that befitted the occasion and the mood, and heads nodded in what they believed was sympathy and understanding. The poor woman had just lost her dear mother after all.
But, to Bobby and Ella it was so much more than the death of their mother. In fact, the death of their mother might have been the least of the issues.
"I have to go," she whispered to him. "I have to get out of here."
He wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulder and proceeded to escort her out of the room as Sarah watched from the other side nodding her approval.
He spoke quietly to Ella. "Let's duck in the chapel for a few minutes."
Proceeding into the dimly lit room, they walked arm in arm up the aisle until they were standing in front of the altar like two people about to wed. Ella melted into his arms and wept.
For several moments, she had a long and good cry. Heaving sobs were the only sound as Bobby held her tightly. Finally, she wiped her eyes and stepped away. "I'm sorry."
"It's ok, El," he said, calling her by the pet name he hadn't used in years.
"No!" she answered sharply. "It's not okay, damn it." She stood in front of him, her eyes reflecting the anger she felt. It was a look Bobby hadn't seen from her in a very long time. "I'm angry. I'm very angry," she told him. "That woman doesn't deserve my tears. I hated her!"
This last comment seemed to rock Ella back to reality and she collected herself before continuing. Bobby could only stand and wait. This was his sister's internal battle. He had already dealt with his.
"There, I said it," she declared honestly, and she took a deep breath. After a long pause, "I guess I am the ungrateful child she always accused me of being." This prompted a renewed round of tears.
Walking forward, Bobby held Ella in a tight embrace as she cried, rubbing her back as he used to do when they were young. "It's not your fault, El."
"I know," came her muffled reply, but the tears continued anyway. After several minutes, Ella's breathing returned to normal as she wrapped her arms firmly around her brother and rested her head on his shoulder. "But thank you for saying that. I love you Bobby."
"I love you too," he answered honestly.
It had been a while since they had held each other like this and Bobby couldn't help but think about one of the earliest times it had happened.
It had been a night like any other in their house as children while their parents - his father and the girls' mother - fought bitterly downstairs about one thing or another. The kids never knew what their parents were fighting about, they only knew that the fighting created a rift between all of them. After items had been thrown and broken, creating loud noises that terrified the kids, Ella escaped to Bobby's room where he embraced her just as he did now. He had always been there for her and she loved him completely.
That had also been the night that Sarah and Bobby had exposed their private parts to each other, beginning a series of sexual encounters and explorations between them that ultimately culminated in them losing their virginity to each other just before leaving for college. They continued their activities over holidays and breaks until the summer Ella turned eighteen and confessed her attraction and love for Bobby as well.
Now, in Ella's arms and feeling her tightly against him, Bobby's body reacted in a natural and uncontrollable manner as the bulge in his pants grew and pressed against his stepsister's midsection.
Ella felt him and lifted her head. They stared at each other for one brief moment before their lips met. A warm gentle kiss that conveyed so many different feelings and emotions - the loss of their mother, the longing for earlier days when they were younger and the world hadn't seemed as harsh, a remaining mutual attraction between them. They clung to each other tightly as the kissing intensified, bringing comfort and a sense of familiarity to both of them.
After several minutes, Bobby broke off. "I'm sorry. I, uh...I don't know why that happened."
Ella reached out and touched her brother's cheek softly. "You never have to apologize to me Bobby. Not after everything we've been through. After everything we've done together."
Embarrassed by his actions anyway, Bobby smiled awkwardly and nodded his head. "Thanks."
She grabbed his hands and squeezed. "Don't be embarrassed. It felt great to kiss you. It always does. It's been a while." They stared at one another and he finally broke into a smile. "That's better," she said, smiling up at him in return.
"Thank you, El," he answered.
"For what?"
He chuckled softly and shrugged his shoulders. "For just being you."
She lifted herself up and kissed his cheek. "I suppose we should head back. We've left Sarah all alone."
With a rock-hard dick that he knew would be instantly visible, Bobby responded, "Yes...but, ah...I'll need a few moments."
It was Ella's turned to chuckle. "Of course. Take your time." She started walking down the aisle before stopping and pivoting around to him. As an afterthought she said, "You know...you really should get a divorce from Diane. Do it while you still have time to find someone to share your life with. Someone who will really love you. You deserve that Bobby." She turned around and left.
Taking a seat in a chair in the front row, Bobby dropped his head and ran his hands through his hair. He had to agree with Ella. His marriage to Diane for three decades was a marriage in name only. What had started out well enough with hope and promise gradually faded, in part, because they were never able to have children. And he was fairly certain his wife had been cheating on him for years. However, at this point both of them seemed too lazy to end the marriage.
Reclyning in the chair, he slumped down and tipped his head back as his cock throbbed below - its lasting hardness impressing him. Thoughts of his wife were easily replaced by thoughts of his sisters. While it had been quite some time since he had messed around with either one of them, just the thought of it aroused all kinds of emotions and feelings. Not surprisingly, his mind began to wander...back to an earlier time when life was still uncertain and their futures were yet to be written.
V
It was the summer of 1989. Ronald Reagan was out, George Bush was in. The Cold War seemed like it was coming to an end, while student protests in China's Tiananmen Square captivated the world. AIDS was still the biggest health scare in the country and the thing nobody ever wanted to talk about, while Madonna sang "Like a Prayer," Debbie Gibson materialized out of thin air, and Michael Jackson was the undisputed "King of Pop."
For Bobby and Sarah, recent graduates of their respective universities, they had returned home to a place neither of them felt connected to any longer. Their experiences at college had prepared them for life but neither of them really knew where or how to start it. Each was feeling a sense of disconnect - as if they had been away for four years on some exciting adventure only to wake up later and wonder if it was all a dream.
Yet, the sense of normalcy and routine at home was the same as it had always been. Their parents were hardly ever there, or made a quick stop to change clothes before heading off to the Dallas Country Club. This was the place their parents spent most evenings and virtually every weekend, leaving their children at home to essentially take care of themselves.
Even Ella was absent from the house now. The large space above their three car garage had been converted into a sizable living space, complete with a kitchen and living room as well as a bedroom and bathroom. Naturally, this was where Ella chose to spend all of her time once she returned from completing her freshman year of college.
For the past several years, Bobby and Sarah had been lovers. What began simply enough one night during their senior year of high school quickly blossomed into something neither of them could have expected - genuine love. Despite the fact that they were stepsiblings who shared parents - or maybe even because of it - they discovered a mutual attraction and quickly began sexually experimenting with each other.
This had continued after they went to college as well, during breaks and vacations, regardless of whatever sexual exploits they got up to while away. Unbeknownst to either of them, their younger sister Ella had been aware of what was going on between them. She had conveniently kept that information to herself at first. Then, last year, during her senior year in high school, Ella revealed this secret to Bobby as well as her own attraction to him and they had begun their own sexual relationship.
Since then, Bobby had masterfully juggled time between his two stepsiblings - but that was in large part due to Ella, who had a place of her own above the garage and a desire not to let Sarah know that she, too, was sleeping with their brother.
Honestly, it was all a little complicated. While Sarah was completely in the dark about Ella - and would always be - Ella was completely in the know regarding Sarah. In the middle somewhere was Bobby, desperately trying to accommodate and satisfy each of his sisters. Not that he was complaining.
As the summer wore on, it became increasingly obvious to Sarah and Bobby that they needed to get out of the house and start making their way in the world. Living in the house they grew up in, while certainly large enough, was unsatisfying. With their parents constantly absent and Ella nestled in her own apartment, Sarah and Bobby got bored being alone. And it cramped their sexual activities because they never knew when one of their parents or sister would walk in on them.
In the meantime, Sarah had taken an entry job as a customer service representative with an insurance company while applying for teaching jobs for the fall and Bobby had begun working out at DFW. While work kept them busy and introduced them to new friends, they still came home to an empty house.
They decided that if they were going to be alone, then they wanted to be alone in a place of their own and they began searching for an apartment. They found an ideal place up in Plano that was situated in a convenient location for both of them. They also liked that the apartment was close enough to Highland Park, if they needed to get back quickly, yet far enough away to maintain some sense of independence. Naturally, this met with their parents' instant permission and eager approval.
Ella, on the other hand, was livid when she found out about it. Regardless of the fact that she was the youngest of the trio, she was in many ways the more mature one in the group. She recognized that her anger was out of jealousy as she preferred to have Bobby all to herself, however, realistically the arrangement made sense. Still, a part of her felt used - despite the fact that she was the one who initiated a sexual relationship with Bobby. As a result, Ella refused to have sex with Bobby after that. She decided to control the only thing she could - her body - although she pretty much cut both of her siblings off once they moved in together.
Bobby understood Ella's reaction and tried his best to soothe her feelings, but it was to no avail. Sarah, as always, was completely oblivious to her sister's reaction or anger. Just as the summer was coming to an end, the day before Ella headed back to the University of Mississippi, Bobby tried one last time to smooth things out.
"You know I love you, El!" he answered angrily while she stood in front of him, hands on her hips. Her television was turned to MTV as always, and Richard Marx was promising that wherever you go and whatever you do he would be "Right Here Waiting" for you.
Ella had let Bobby in the door to her apartment in order to talk. She didn't like how things stood between them but was also hurt and angry. "But you love Sarah more!" When her brother opened his mouth to speak she cut him off. "Don't deny it. You've always preferred Sarah - always. I'm just the alternate. I'm the one you come around to fuck when Sarah is unavailable."
It was a spectacularly unfair comment to make and Bobby's shock and hurt were clearly evident. He knew what she said was not true, and he knew that Ella knew it was not true but this was an argument he wasn't going to win. He slumped his shoulders in defeat. After some time, he backed up and headed for the door. Just before stepping out, he said what he had come to say.
"I love you both very much. You're the best thing that ever came out of my father marrying your mother, and you both mean the world to me. I don't want to lose that. I wish you could understand that I'm not moving in with Sarah just for sex."
"Ha!"
"Seriously!" He turned swiftly around to look at Ella, ready to resist - then capitulated. He released a heavy sigh. "Will Sarah and I have sex? Yes. Of course. I would be lying if I said otherwise but...that doesn't mean I don't want you or love you. And besides - Jesus Christ - it's not like I can even have either one of you! At some point we're all going to have to move on and get married, and since we're stepsiblings the law would take a rather dim view of our situation. I never asked for any of this."
Ella remained fixed where she was. She had nothing left to say. She was hurt, she was jealous, and she was about to go back to college. There was nothing she could do to prevent it and, at some point, she would have to let it go. But that was not today.
"I hope you have a great sophomore year in Mississippi," Bobby told her. "Regardless of what you may think, I love you, El. More than you'll ever know." He opened the door and left as tears rolled down his sister's face.
A week later, Sarah and Bobby moved into their apartment and she began subbing in area schools until something permanent came along. Moving in together allowed them to accelerate their relationship in ways they couldn't have imagined previously. Finally, they were truly free to do what they wanted without the fear of exposure. It was quite liberating for both of them.
Any uncertainty or questions Bobby might have had about moving in with his stepsister and how they would navigate living arrangements quickly evaporated their second day together. He returned from work and upon opening the door Bobby saw Sarah completely naked and spread eagle on the couch playing with herself.
"Oh, thank God you're finally home!" she exclaimed, rubbing her pussy furiously in front of him. "Come over here and get naked. You can fuck me in any hole you want."
Bobby immediately stripped out of his clothes and promptly obliged his sister. They fucked on the couch, then twice more before the night was through - once doggy-style on the floor and once on their bed with Sarah straddling his cock. They also began sleeping in the same bed at night.
Their newfound freedom elevated their sexual relationship. They could do whatever they wanted, wherever they wanted, whenever they wanted. They could hang out naked all day and fuck like rabbits all night, or any other time either of them had the inclination to do so.
Bobby loved seeing his sister nude. Her slim, curvy body - tear-shaped tits with the longest nipples he had ever seen on anybody - her black muff and pink pussy lips - was almost always more than he could stand and would instantly produce a boner for him. Sarah proved to be the ultimate aphrodisiac for him.
Likewise, Sarah enjoyed watching her naked brother strut about the apartment with his meat flopping from one side to the other. Her favorite activity was to watch him jerk off, something they had been doing together for years. She could never get enough of his naked slender form, his hard dick, or his tender and warm kisses that constantly ignited her insides. As a result, she was frequently grabbing at his cock and at him, and he did the same to her.
Perhaps not surprisingly, from the moment they moved in together they were always naked and pawing at one another. They did everything in the nude - watch television, cook, clean, etc. Neither one of them could get enough of the other one being naked or the opportunity to satisfy each other. As soon as they got home from work each day, the fun would begin. It was like a dream come true for both of them.
They frequently masturbated together, took showers together, performed oral sex on one another, and fucked continuously in every possible way and position imaginable. Truthfully, they explored their sexuality together - as they had always done - and were simultaneously each other's teacher and student. Perpetual and reliable fuck buddies without the fear of being caught.
It was amazing to Bobby how much their relationship had changed. What had begun in their senior year of high school as nothing more than an exploration to satisfy their curiosities was now all about fucking. It had been an incredible transformation and, yet, throughout it all they shared a common love for each other. They were as comfortable around each other as any two people could be. It was rather refreshing.
And so...time passed.
The Berlin Wall came down and the Cold War ended. A war in the Persian Gulf came to a quick and victorious conclusion practically before it started while the U.S. economy hit a recession that was the worst since the Depression. Madonna was replaced by Whitney Houston and Boyz II Men seemed to be playing everywhere. Michael Jackson was still the "King of Pop."
When the summer of 1992 commenced, it was Ella who had just graduated from college. The Peterson family was gathered together in celebration, dining at Bob's Steak & Chop House on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas which was a family favorite. It was where they always went on special occasions.
This was the first time all five members had been in one spot since the previous Christmas, and only then out of necessity and for a requisite amount of time. Neither Bobby nor Sarah liked visiting their parents very much since their overly critical mother never seemed to find anything good to say. So, they did their best to stay away from Highland Park and the mansion on Beverly Drive as much as possible.
But, this night was about Ella, so Bobby and Sarah were present and would not have missed the occasion for the world.
Ella's relationship with her siblings had improved, but mostly because they were never around each other. Her relationship with Bobby had mended and they were cordial and polite with one another, although her relationship with Sarah never appeared to have changed to begin with.
While Ella was still a little jealous of her siblings' living arrangements, in the end it was beyond her control. She was off doing her thing at college anyway, so it was not like she wasn't having her own bit of sexual fun. Ella had really come out of her shell - discovering that because she like sex with men and women the opportunities were endless.
As the Peterson family rejoiced at Ella's graduation, magna cum laude, and spoke excitedly about all the things they assumed would come her way, she dropped a bombshell on them all by announcing that in addition to a diploma she was also now engaged.
If you're looking for a show-stopper - that's one way to do it. Bobby and Sarah exchanged puzzled looks at the same time their parents did. The news was shocking for a couple of reasons. First, Ella never talked about seeing anyone at school much less dating somebody seriously. Second, at least for Bobby, was the fact that his sister had made it pretty clear to him over the intervening years that she preferred girls.
As expected, a slew of questions were hurled Ella's way and she fended them off as best she could. Finally, just as the main course was being served and everyone had a momentary respite, Ella collected her thoughts and her breath. She placed both elbows on the table, as her mother gave a disdainful look, and held her palms up as if to surrender.
"Listen, before you start again, allow me the opportunity to explain." She was talking to all of them but looking directly at her mother.
In truth, she admitted, it was very simple. She had met someone in her final semester and they had fallen completely head over heels in love with each other. He proposed the day after graduation and she had accepted.
"But...we don't even know this young man," her mother exclaimed immediately. "Does he come from a good family?" Clearly, she was not satisfied with Ella's account of things.
Of course, Bobby and Sarah - as well as Ella - knew exactly what their mother was implying. She wanted to know whether this young man come from money - because that was always her first concern. Even their dad seemed to understand the implication of his wife's question. He reached out and placed a hand on her arm in an attempt to silence her. Strangely, it worked.
Ella professed love and, by all outward appearances, seemed truly excited and happy. In the end, that was all that mattered and a series of awkward congratulations were extended to Ella. Bobby decided he would talk with his sister and inquire further at a later, and much more private, time. If only to satisfy his own curiosity.
That opportunity came a couple weeks later when Bobby paid a visit to his parents. Ella saw his car pull in the driveway, then stepped out on her upstairs landing. "Bobby?"
Startled by the unexpected call from his sister he jumped, then looked up to see Ella standing on the ledge just outside her door. "Yeah?"
"Would you come up and see me before you go?"
"Sure," he answered. He was excited that Ella asked to see him and wondered if, perhaps, she had finally forgiven him for moving in with Sarah.
When he was done visiting with his parents, Bobby climbed the back staircase that led to Ella's apartment and stood on the landing after knocking on her door. She called out to him that the door was open and he proceeded to walk in. He turned to shut the door, and when he turned back around Ella greeted him in all of her naked glory.
Bobby's mouth dropped open. He could not have been more surprised. "Wha..."
Ella walked up to him and placed a finger on his lips. "We'll talk later - about a lot of things. But right now, I want you."
Before anything further could be said by either one of them, Ella wrapped herself around Bobby in a tight embrace. As their bodies pressed together, their lips met. It had been quite a while since they had kissed but they picked up right where they had left off - soft, tender kisses that revealed so much about how deep their love for one another was. Nothing between these two was rushed or urgent. Instead, like a wonderfully choreographed dance, Ella and Bobby held each other and kissed until their lips grew sore. They had a lot of time to make up for.
As Mariah Carey sang "I'll Be There," from the television set to MTV, Ella moved her mouth to suck on her brother's neck. Finally she whispered, "I want you."
Her words spurred a visceral reaction in Bobby as his heart leapt in his chest and his dick sprouted inside his pants. Ella grabbed his right hand and pulled him into her bedroom. She shut the door, then leaned her body against the wall, pulling her brother down. "Lick my pussy, Bobby."
Lowering himself down, Ella spread her legs so Bobby could service her wet hole. She lifted her right leg to place a bare foot on his shoulder as his mouth worked its magic on her. It was true that Ella preferred girls when it came to cunnilingus, but her brother was second to none in that category. He was proving it once again.
Soon, both feet were on his shoulders as Ella moaned out in pleasure. Bobby gripped her ass tightly and gradually pushed up from the floor taking Ella's body with him as she slid up the side of the wall. When he was fully standing, she wrapped her legs around his head as his tongue tickled inside her and she moaned loudly.
Placing her hands on Bobby's head, Ella ran her fingers through his hair as he lapped up her pussy juices. The feeling was incredible and Ella moaned louder and louder. Just to feel him moving - his tongue filling her wet hole - was almost beyond description. It had been so long since he had last done this and Ella had missed it - missed it quite a bit.
It wasn't long before a seismic orgasm covered her body in warm pleasure as she cried out. Ella's hands grabbed Bobby's hair and pulled tightly as her body convulsed in his grasp. Her eyes flew open wide and her body released. "UH! Oh, my God!" she exclaimed as her pelvis shook.
When her climax had ended, Bobby lowered his sister until her feet touched the soft beige carpet of her bedroom. Then he jumped out of his clothes, picked up Ella and carried her over to the bed. Their lovemaking was slow and deliberate, and they proceeded to make love several times that day.
Hours later, in the wee small hours of the following morning, the two siblings sat in the living room of Ella's apartment. She held a warm cup of tea in her hands as Bobby drank a beer. Vanessa Williams was singing "Save the Best for Last" on MTV.
"So," she exhaled. "That's how I finally came to terms with you and Sarah living together."
Ella had just spent the past hour and a half detailing the ordeal she had gone through when it came to her siblings and how college and distance had helped her accept their situation. She also detailed all of her sexual exploits at college as well - men, women, both at the same time - and how that had awakened her in every possible way. It also seemed to make her a more mature individual.
Ultimately, Ella had come to the conclusion that what she shared with Bobby was emotional as well as physical - that it was also supremely unique, and not just because they were stepsiblings. They shared a bond that was unbreakable, and she had to admit that her sister shared a similar bond with Bobby. In the end, Ella knew she was lucky to have him - they both were - and had decided she would take whatever he could offer.
"I love you Bobby. I always have," she concluded.
He smiled at her and winked. "I love you too. I love you both. That's what makes everything so god-damn crazy. The two people I have loved the most - and shared the most with - are the two people I can never have. I mean, not completely."
"Well," she answered quietly, "at least we will always be in each other's lives. That's something."
Since they were talking, this seemed a perfect opportunity to bring up Ella's engagement. So, Bobby decided to broach the topic. "Listen, El...there's something else we need to talk about."
"I know," she answered quickly as she nodded her head. "My engagement, right?"
They stared at each other for a long time. The only thing Bobby could think to ask was, "Do you love him?"
Ella just smiled at him. She took a sip of tea before answering. "I love him enough."
"Oh Christ, Ella, what the fuck does that mean?" her brother asked.
Placing her cup on the end table, Ella leaned forward and clasped her hands together. "It means exactly that. Am I in love with him? No. Do I love him? Yes."
Bobby couldn't decide if he was irritated or angry at her response. "Why would you marry him? Do you want to end up in the kind of marriage our parents had?"
"No," she replied meekly. "Of course not."
"Then why?"
Ella gave her brother a hard stare. "You know why."
"No I don't," he assured her.
"Think about it."
Bobby had no use for games like this, especially when he was the one in the dark. "Can you just explain it to me?"
Once again, Ella drew in a deep breath before speaking. "It's like this, Bobby. I do love him. Truly. We have a lot in common and our sex is...pretty decent. Although, he's not as good as you." She winked at him and smiled.
Continuing on, Ella explained that she preferred women almost exclusively at this point. However, she knew that their mother would never - ever - accept a lesbian in the family and it would make their existence in Highland Park almost impossible. Ella would end up being a constant thorn in their mother's life and complicate her social circle, perhaps causing her mother to be ostracized. That was something Ella realized she simply could not do, regardless of how she felt about her mother. So, she accepted the offer of engagement because it seemed like the right thing to do, especially as she really had no desire or inclination to ever start dating a guy.
"However, take heart dear brother," she said. "I may have to give up women - at least for the most part - but I don't have to give you up. In fact, I won't give you up." Ella moved to sit on Bobby's lap and they kissed at length for quite some time.
From then on, Ella's apartment became a refuge for Bobby, much like it had been initially - a place for him to escape from everything and everyone.
Once again, time progressed.
Sadly, but not unexpectedly, Ella's marriage lasted less than two years. During that time, as Ella struggled to adjust to a new life with someone she only loved marginally, Bobby had begun dating and then marrying Diane while Sarah began a series of relationships while starting a teaching career in the neighboring town of Allen.
Bobby and Sarah had lived together until he began dating Diane, and then it just made sense for him to move out. They had to accept that life goes on and they each needed to find their way without the other. The inevitable had finally arrived.
Every once in a while - if an occasion presented itself - Bobby and Sarah would mess around. He had assumed that once he was married all of those opportunities would stop, but Sarah was never much inclined to settle down. If they happened to both be at their parent's home by coincidence, they found a way to fuck. Sarah would pull him into the small office inside the library, or they would disappear to the shed in the backyard, or even once going into the bathroom they had once shared upstairs. He yanked down his pants and sat on the toilet lid as Sarah straddled his legs and rode him until they had both cum.
Ironically, he and Ella never messed around when she was married. But, once she was divorced and had moved back into the apartment above their parent's garage, they also would occasionally meet up. Whereas sex with Sarah always felt rushed - an urgent need for release - sex with Ella was tender and meaningful. The difference between the two was incredible.
Yet, as the years went by and their lives took different turns those opportunities became less and less until they were pretty much nonexistent.
Conclusion
Finally, at long last, the funeral reception ended and the last of the mourners left. As the wait staff began clearing away the dishes, the three siblings exchanged glances that reflected both sadness and relief.
"It's over," Bobby said, exhaling loudly. It was the only thing he could think of to say, but it was the only thing necessary. His two sisters approached him and he gave them each a strong hug and kiss on the cheek. "Let's go home."
They drove back to the huge house on Beverly Drive, which now belonged to the three of them, and walked through the front door. None of them had spoken a word since leaving the funeral home. There was no need.
Despite the fact that it was early evening, they were each ready to call it a day. As his sisters began heading off in different directions, Bobby spoke up. "Hang on. Before everybody splits up, I have something I want to do." He walked into the kitchen and pulled out a chilled bottle of champagne he had placed in the refrigerator that morning.
He popped the cork, grabbed three tall champagne glasses from the wooden rack on the large marble counter, and proceeded to pour half a glass for each of them. "I propose a toast."
The ladies looked at him, then each other. Smirking, they reluctantly walked into the kitchen.
"I'm really not in a celebratory mood, Bobby," Sarah stated, but she took a glass from him anyway.
"Relax," he answered, handing a glass to Ella. "Look - this is not a celebration. It's been a rough few days and now it's over. But...I would like to make a toast to us."
His stepsisters stood there waiting, looking at him dubiously.
Bobby continued. "I have long believed that, despite our parent's rocky marriage, the best thing that ever came out of it was us." He paused, momentarily stunned by his emotions as he choked up. "I love you both so much, and I have for such a long time. I can't imagine my life without either of you in it. If only for that reason, I'm glad your mother and my father got married. So, I propose a toast to us. They're gone, but we are here. We are good people and we tried to be good children. All in all, I think we succeeded in spite of their failures and I think we deserve some credit. So, here's to us."
"Oh Bobby," Ella sighed as a single tear ran down her cheek.
The three siblings clinked glasses and swallowed the champagne.
It was Sarah who spoke next. "Well said, Bobby. And I agree. Considering how we might have turned out, I think we managed to do quite well."
Another round was poured as the trio lingered in the kitchen. As always, they could take comfort in being together, something they learned how to do at an early age.
It was finally Ella who brought an end to things. "Well, I'm going up to my apartment. I'm pretty exhausted. It's been a long few days. You'll both come up and see me before leaving tomorrow, won't you?"
REPORT
"Of course," Sarah replied as Bobby nodded his head.
With that, Ella gave them each a hug and kiss and departed the kitchen for her apartment over the garage, her own personal, private sanctuary from the world. Who knew what would become of it now, or the entire house for that matter. But, those were discussions for another time.
"I think I'm going to retire as well," Bobby stated as he put the three empty champagne glasses into the sink. "I'll clean these up in the morning."
"Goodnight, Bobby," said Sarah, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek. "I think I'll hang out down here for a while. I'm not really all that tired." She hugged her brother and walked into the spacious living room to sit on the couch.
Bobby went upstairs to his bedroom. Still, after all this time, this was his favorite place on earth. It was his room, still arranged as it had been in his youth. Being in this space filled him with warmth and nostalgia. It was the only place that was entirely his - even now. He walked over, flicked on the stereo - still set to 97.1 KEGL and playing songs he no longer recognized - and lay flat on his bed. Nothing had ever felt so comfortable.
As he lay there, Bobby thought about his wife Diane. Their marriage was nothing more than a force of habit at this point. It was solid simply because it existed, not from any real effort or passion from either one. Ella had been right. He should leave Diane and start over, find someone he enjoyed being with but...
At 55 years of age, he was permanently settled. Despite the fact that he had strong suspicions that Diane had been cheating on him for some time now, he continuously overlooked it. He considered it more important to have someone he could share his life with than someone he could have sex with.
His marriage certainly wasn't perfect. What marriage was? It was a daily compromise - a trade-off of sorts - but it worked and that's all that mattered at this stage of his life, right? He was married to the institution - committed to it, in fact. They both were, which is why - at least on his part - he honestly didn't even care that his wife could be having an affair.
Sure, he thought, it would be nice to be in a different relationship or marriage. One that produced some sparks of intimacy but the thought of starting over - at his age - almost seemed comical. He wouldn't even know where to begin or what to do. He let his mind wander until sleep found him.
Bobby awoke with a start in a pitch-black room, his stereo softly echoing its sounds into the still of the night. He looked at the digital clock on the night stand and saw it was after nine o'clock. A short little rest had turned into an extended nap, and he got out of bed deciding to go downstairs for a snack - or at least a drink.
Making his way downstairs, he came to the unfortunate realization that he would now be awake for much of the coming night and silently cursed himself. He decided that, under the circumstances, he would need to have a few drinks.
Bobby crept into the vast kitchen and filled a large glass with water. He walked around a bit, staring at everything and nothing at the same time while drinking the water. Finally, he decided to head into the library where he could find a book to read and some alcohol to drink.
What he found instead was Sarah sitting in one of the comfortable oversized chairs in the middle of the room, sipping from a generous glass of something brown. Bobby smiled as she raised her glass in a silent toast as he walked in.
He raised his water in return. "Cheers. Looks like you beat me to it." He was pointing at her tall brown glass.
She raised an eyebrow at him. "I couldn't wait."
In truth, Sarah had been hoping Bobby would make his way downstairs. She rose from the chair, "I only came down about five or ten minutes ago, so I'm not ahead by much." She hugged him and they relaxed in each other's arms.
"I didn't expect to see anyone else tonight." He looked into her large, brown eyes. My God, it was like she never changed.
Sarah raised her crooked brow at him again, mischievous as always. "I can leave, but I'm taking the bourbon with me." She drained most of her glass in one swallow, then winked and smiled at him before walking over to retrieve the decanter on the short bar in the corner of the library before her brother could take it.
He approached and grabbed another glass from the rack that hung on the wall. These glasses were hung and displayed for the expressed purpose of drinking and Bobby intended to oblige himself. Once Sarah had filled her glass she handed him the decanter and he did the same. He could smell the alcohol emanating from her. "That wasn't your first one, was it?" he asked, already knowing the answer.
She smiled brightly at him. "Well...maybe I've been down here a little longer than five or ten minutes." Her smile widened, exposing a perfect set of white teeth. "And I intend to have several more before the night is through."
They chuckled together and moved to stand beside the only two chairs in the library, across from each other in the middle of the room and surrounded by volumes of their father's books.
She took another large gulp, then eyed him intensely. "This room sure brings back a lot of memories, doesn't it?"
"Yes - it sure does."
"Remember all the stuff we used to do?" She didn't wait for an answer. "God - those were great times. Nothing to worry about, just having fun."
"That we did. Quite a bit of it too."
"Especially in this room! How many times do you think we had sex in here? A hundred? More?
Bobby scanned the room as if he expected the answer to display itself somewhere. "I don't know. A lot, that's for damn sure."
"Mmm hmm," she mumbled while swallowing another mouthful of bourbon.
"As well as the pool, the outdoor shed, the upstairs bathroom, and our rooms," he added.
"And don't forget the kitchen! Remember when we fucked right on the kitchen table?"
She was referring to a time one summer during college break. They had the house to themselves and decided to be daring and have sex on the table.
"Right after I licked your pussy as you sat on the kitchen counter."
"Oh my God - that's right!" The realization of that forgotten piece of information caused Sarah to smile widely. "We had some great times...and some awesome sex. I miss that."
"Yeah - me too," he answered. He assumed that ended the nostalgic conversation.
But, Sarah took a step forward to stand right in front of her brother - then reached down and ran a hand over the bulge in his pants. "I've been waiting several days for just a few minutes alone with you."
Bobby stared at his stepsister, still ravishingly beautiful with a slender frame and straight brown hair nicely cascading below her shoulders. A mental image of her long nipples jumped into his brain as the mischievous twinkle in her eyes told him all he needed to know. "We shouldn't."
Unable to stop herself, Sarah laughed out loud. "Now...how many times have I heard that before?" She moved in closer while gripping his package harder. "Come on Bobby - for old time's sake. We're not hurting anybody. Besides, it's been a long time since we messed around together.
He could taste the bourbon from her breath and it watered his mouth. Sarah placed her glass on one of the reading tables and moved her free arm around his waist, pulling him into her. Wrapped in a tight embrace, he stared into those lovely brown eyes of hers as she smiled up at him.
"Come on," she repeated, this time whispering in his ear. "Ella's up in her apartment and won't be seen until tomorrow. You know how she is. It's just us. All alone in this enormous house. Let's not let all those great memories go forgotten. Let's make some new ones."
Without giving him a chance to respond, Sarah leaned in and began kissing him passionately on the lips. Within seconds, Bobby had capitulated - like usual.
For quite some time they stood in the middle of the library, wrapped in each others embrace, and kissed. They kissed for what had been, and they kissed for what still existed - for what used to be and for what still remained.
"Oh, that felt so good Bobby," she exhaled when their lips parted. "God, I miss that. You're still my first love, you know that? You're the only one I've ever really loved." She leaned in again and the kissing resumed, this time with a little more urgency than before. When it ended, Sarah began sucking on his neck. "I want you, Bobby. I always want you."
That was it. That's all he needed to hear at this point as his cock pulsed inside his pants begging to be released. He was never very good at resisting - never had been - at least not for long. Not where either of his sisters were concerned. Their lips met for a third time and they kissed with passionate abandon.
Bobby's hands roamed over the front of Sarah's black blouse, feeling her breasts in his hands as she moved her mouth back to his neck and began sucking sweetly on him. Her lips pressed against his ear. "My God, you always make me so wet."
Exhaling loudly, Bobby started pulling the blouse out of Sarah's pants, eager to get going now that they had started. She moved her left hand down to grip him once again. "I want this thing."
They stopped for just a moment as Bobby grabbed his stepsister's hand and led her into the adjoining office where they could shut and lock the door. They both knew it was unnecessary but it was a precaution that was as much a part of their habit as sex. As soon as the door was closed, articles of clothing were removed at a ferocious pace.
Sarah dropped to her knees and grabbed her brother's rigid pole. Slowly, she licked his entire shaft - up and down and up and down - while fondling his balls as he moaned out loud. When it was wet and slippery, she pushed forward on her knees as her mouth gradually slid down until his hard cock disappeared.
"Oh Christ, Sarah," he exhaled.
While jerking his meat, Sarah sucked on it as her tongue swiveled around inside her mouth. Back and forth she went as his dick grew harder and harder. She could feel the blood flooding into it as his penis pulsed insider her warm mouth.
Sarah pulled Bobby down to the floor and, once he was lying there, she straddled him. Reaching down, she grabbed his rock-hard cock, rubbing it against her wet pussy, then slid slowly down on him until it was fully inside her.
For the next eight minutes she rode his cock like a champion bull rider. They talked dirty to one another, like they used to do when younger, encouraging each other toward climax while uttering soothing sounds of satisfaction. It was all so familiar, a continuation of something they had begun years before, and it culminated in a loud and very satisfying release for both of them.
After a little rest, something they both needed as the years advanced, a second round commenced and this time it was slower. More careful and meaningful - a reflection of the honest, genuine love they had for each other. Sweet, soft kisses - gentle caressing - loving words - all displays of affection and tender sentiments.
They rubbed each other's naked skin. Bobby sucked on and played with Sarah's long nipples as his fingers massaged her pussy. As always, she was wet and ready. They soon found themselves in a sixty-nine position, licking and sucking on each other as their moans echoed around the tiny office.
Sarah stroked her brother's shaft while sucking just on the head of his penis this time as he dove his tongue deep into her wet hole, both enjoying something they had done together many times before. Bobby loved the taste of his sister and she equally enjoyed the sensation of his pulsing cock in her mouth.
It was almost as if each time they did this, it was the first time all over again - something started years before in the security and safety of Bobby's bedroom, renewed again and again throughout the years.
"I want to watch you jerk it, Bobby."
In no time, the duo had untangled themselves and sat in opposite corners of the small office. Each began masturbating, something they had also thoroughly enjoyed doing together since practically the beginning of their exploits together.
Sarah loved to watch her brother stroke himself, even now at 55 years of age. Long gone was his firm, youthful body - but hers had disappeared as well somewhere along the way. However, nothing made her pussy wetter than to watch him play with his cock.
As their bodies heated up, animal instincts took over and Bobby moved over to her and quickly thrust his dick into her waiting hole. Soon, the only sound was the slapping of skin and cries of pleasure.
"Oh, God - YES!" Sarah cried. "Fuck me Bobby! Fuck my pussy!"
Like usual, the initial tender expressions of love quickly turned to eager fucking. They wanted it - their bodies demanded it. Bobby gripped his sister's ass as he shoved his meat inside her and she cried out in excitement.
"That's it baby!" she cried out. "Oh, God - you feel so good."
Surprisingly, it wasn't long before Bobby exclaimed, "I'm gonna cum, Sarah!"
Quickly swirling around to face his red dick, Sarah opened wide as the first globs of cum shot out. Sticking her tongue out, he came all over it as his seed erupted. She gulped, then begged for more. "Give me all you have!" Sarah grabbed his still-hard cock and jerked it as more white goo oozed out.
After the last of his semen drained from his shrinking appendage, Sarah stood up and began vigorously rubbing her clit. "I need to cum again. You always make me so horny Bobby!"
She continued to play with herself as Bobby sat there on the floor and watched. It was an opportunity to put on a little show just for the hell of it. Sarah loved to watch her stepbrother looking at her - and her body - as she played with herself. It had always been a huge turn-on for her and it still was.
Before long, she tilted backwards as climax neared. "Ohhhhhh...Bobby...OH - here it comes. Watch me while I cum."
She needn't have asked as Bobby's attention was focused solely on her movements.
When it was all over, they dressed and headed back to the library. Sarah grabbed Bobby by the arm and spun him around to face her. "Thanks. I needed that." She kissed him on the mouth and slid her tongue inside. Wrapped in each other's embrace, they kissed for a long time.
When they separated, Bobby sighed. "Yeah. Me too. It's been a while."
"And whose fault is that?" she snapped back. Her comment stung a little more than she had intended, a product of the alcohol she had drunk, and Sarah quickly apologized. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to come out the way it did."
Bobby took a deep breath and looked at his stepsister. He knew she hadn't meant to hurt him - knew it to his very core but was glad she apologized anyway. "I know. And...you're right. Maybe we should remedy that. Get together from time to time...for a little...activity."
"Really?" She was completely surprised by this overture. She had tried over the years - from time to time - to engage Bobby in some kind of sexual activity and usually he demurred.
"Yeah," he admitted. "I've been doing quite a lot of thinking this weekend. Reminiscing, as it were." He smiled openly, then drained his glass of bourbon and walked back to the bar for a refill. "I think maybe - every once in a while - we should get together and, uh...relive old times together."
Sarah could not have been more surprised. "Oh, Bobby!" she answered gleefully. "I would love that." Walking over to where he stood she embraced him tightly. "Mmm...you know, I've said this before but I'm going to say it again. I love you. You have always been my first love and that will never change."
"I feel the same way."
"I know you do. And...well, you really need to be with someone who will love you back. I'm sorry to say this but Diane has got to go."
"I know. I just don't know where to start."
"Well, I do!" Sarah filled her glass and took a large swallow. "You go home and tell her that your mother's death has put things into perspective for you. You're tired of being in a loveless - and sexless - marriage and before you're too old to do anything about it you want to see what's left of life!"
Bobby chuckled, but his sister's point was well made.
"I want you to be happy Bobby," she continued. So does Ella. You've been miserable with Diane for so long you've forgotten how to make yourself happy. And you deserve to be even...even if it means we can never mess around again. I want you to know love, real love."
"But I do," he answered. "That's what you and Ella are for."
"Yes - I suppose that's true but we can't be with you every day. You deserve someone who can provide that for you." She took another drink before continuing. "In the meantime, I'll be happy to meet you anywhere and anytime for a little...personal satisfaction."
"It never bothers you that you're cheating on your husband?" It was a question Bobby had thought of before.
"I don't see it as cheating. I love my husband and we have a good marriage. But what we have goes beyond that - it's a deeper level than anything else I've ever experienced. Like I said, we're not hurting anyone. It's just between you and me - and that's exactly how I want to keep it. Forever."
She had given him much to think about this night and he would give everything she had said close examination starting tomorrow. For now, he kissed his sister on the forehead. "I love you so much. I always will."
"Me too Bobby. Me too."
"When should we plan to get together?"
She smiled, then yawned at length. "That's a conversation for another day, but you know where I stand on the issue." She smiled broadly at him and winked, then kissed him a final time on the lips. "Goodnight Bobby. I love you." She turned and headed out of the room and up the stairs.
Bobby reached for his glass and walked to the bar for another refill of bourbon. The sex with her had been great, as had the conversation afterwards. It was amazing how brutally honest siblings can be toward one another, but they usually act out of love. At least his sisters always did. Just another reason Bobby considered himself one lucky son of a bitch.
For the next ten minutes he slowly walked around the library perusing the many books that lined the walls. He gazed at them without really looking. He had seen them all before anyway. Grabbing a thick volume of something, he returned to one of the oversized beige accent chairs and collapsed into it hoping sleep would catch up to him soon. It did.
In the morning, Bobby had prepared a nice breakfast for the two of them as Ella always took care of herself. He made ham and cheese omelets with a side of fresh strawberries and cups of strong black coffee. He and Sarah took their time eating while talking about the latest news.
When they were done, Sarah retrieved her belongings and headed for the front door. "Don't be a stranger now, okay?"
"I won't. You neither."
They kissed - another long, intimate kiss that always conveyed so much between them. Exchanging hugs and a final I love you, they separated and Sarah was gone.
After doing the dishes and putting them away, Bobby went up to his room and packed his bags. It was time for him to leave as well. He wondered what would become of his room and this house now. For the time being, none of the siblings were ready to sell it. He supposed that, in time, they would.
He threw his things in the car and walked up the side stairs to Ella's apartment. Before he could even knock, she was there to open the door and greet him.
"I've been expecting you," she said, opening the door for him to enter.
Ella was still in her bathrobe. It was a sleek but fluffy dark blue robe that was tied around her waist. Bobby was surprised to find her like this."You're not dressed and eager to go?"
"Oh, well...I'll get ready in a bit. It won't take me long. Besides, I love this apartment. It's the only place that has ever truly been mine." She shut and locked her door, then turned around. "Can I get you a cup of coffee or tea?"
"No, I'm good. Just wanted to say goodbye before taking off."
Walking into the living room, Ella sat on the couch and leaned back. She evidently wanted to talk, so Bobby followed her lead and sat down next to her. Reaching out she took her brother's hand in hers.
"I want to apologize for yesterday. I had no right to tell you to get a divorce. Your marriage is between you and Diane. I had no business saying what I said."
"No - don't apologize. I'm glad you said it. I've been thinking about a divorce for a long time. You were just being honest and I love you for it."
Ella sat up a little straighter. "I'm glad to hear that. I just want you to be happy, Bobby."
"I know," he answered nodding his head. "Sarah and I talked last night and she pretty much echoed the same thing. I appreciate all that, I really do. In fact, I want to be happy too."
"Good," she answered, then stood up in front of him. "Now, if you don't mind, I want you to make love to me."
"What?" Bobby couldn't believe it, although he probably should not have been surprised. He stared up at her in complete surprise.
"Come on, it's my turn. I'm sure you and Sarah went at it last night any way so don't play coy." Ella untied her robe and let it fall to the ground. Clearly, she had been waiting for Bobby for just this reason. "I need you Bobby and you need me. So, let's make each other feel good."
Reaching down, she pulled her brother up and they shared a long, tender kiss. Kissing had always been the thing they did best together, similar to Sarah and Bobby, and they both took great comfort in it. In fact, the two greatest kissers in his life had been his sisters!
Ella slowly began undressing her brother, and once he was naked she led him into her bedroom. She rounded on him as her hands began exploring his naked body. Finally, as one hand cupped his balls and the other gripped his dick, Ella lowered herself to suck on him.
Her mouth was wet and warm as she devoured his meat. Her tongue glided up and down his shaft and tickled the thick vein underneath as her lips kissed the tip of his penis. All Bobby could do was stand there and enjoy the feeling.
After a while, Ella stood to face him. "You know what I want."
"Yes, I do," he answered as a smile spread across his face.
Ella walked to the bed and lay down, spreading her legs wide to allow him full view and full access to her glistening pussy. Bobby immediately laid in between her legs and began teasing her labia with his tongue before plunging it deep inside her hole.
She arched her back and moaned loudly. "Oh, dear Christ, Bobby! Nobody does this as good as you."
For the next few minutes Bobby licked, tickled and teased his sister's insides as she squirmed on her back, pulling his head into her middle so she could feel his movements. Shortly thereafter, Ella went rigid and inhaled sharply as climax overtook her body.
When it had passed, her body relaxed as Bobby kissed her labia. Sliding up to lay next to her, he wrapped his arms around his sister and began kissing her shoulder, neck and cheek.
"Oh...Bobby. Jesus Christ - you will never know what you do to me. You are the only man - the only man - who ever satisfied me." She turned to face him and they kissed.
When their lips separated, Ella had tears sliding down her face.
Bobby wiped them away. "I love you, El. So much."
"I know." She sniffled. "I love you too. And, I love the way you make me feel."
They kissed again, slowly. Soon, Bobby was rubbing her breasts while his raging hard-on pounded below.
Turning her head to face him, she said, "Make love to me Bobby. I want to feel you inside me."
Within seconds, Ella had opened her legs and Bobby had penetrated her. Their lovemaking this time was more meaningful than perhaps at any other time. They stared into each other's eyes. They kissed each other repeatedly. Bobby pushed himself in slowly, rested inside her, and pulled out even slower. They wanted to make this time really last - to make it count.
Who knew if they would ever have another opportunity? At some point they would sell the house and her apartment right along with it. Since Ella lived down in Austin, who knew when they would see each other again. With both parents gone, there would be no more birthday or holidays to celebrate in the house either. Nothing to bring them together except the desire to see one another. That could be a while.
Eventually, while looking into each other's eyes, they reached orgasm together. Bobby filled her hole as Ella lifted her pelvis and creamed inside. It was a powerful release - physically and emotionally - for both of them.
When it was over they snuggled together in bed and dozed off to sleep.
Waking a couple hours later, they made love one more time - more urgent than before. A need for one final release before they separated. Yet, it was still meaningful as their lips never parted.
After a quick shower together and a light snack, Ella and Bobby walked out of her apartment and down the stairs to the driveway. They stood looking at each other, neither wanting to go.
Bobby took his sister in his arms. "We've come quite a long way, haven't we?"
"Yes."
"I will always be glad you are my sister. Both you and Sarah. Each, in your own way, are the only two people that have ever really, completely loved me. I really couldn't live without either of you."
"Well, I think I can speak for both Sarah and myself when I tell you that we feel the same way."
They kissed a final time, then parted.
Ella drove south on 35 toward Austin and her longtime girlfriend Chrissy.
Bobby drove northwest to Flower Mound and his longtime wife Diane. As he drove, once again he was reminded of just how unusual, unique and special his relationship was with his sisters. He would be forever grateful they came into his room one night years ago when their parents were fighting. Who could have imagined back then the journey they would have together.
As he pulled into his driveway at home and parked the car, Bobby knew what he had to do. It was time for a divorce. Hell, it was passed time. He could leave his wife, he could end his marriage, knowing he would always have his stepsisters.
