Cold sweat trickled down Nikkawa Uchu's back.
A minute ago, he was raising his glass to Chen Xiaobei's capture which he was planning on using to trade for more US Falcon Fighters.
He barely even had the chance to lay eyes on the bounty when he lost not one or two, but three Falcon Fighters!
What really confused him was that the explosion had come from a missile. Could Chen Xiaobei possible be one of those transformers?

The fourth explosion reverberated through the air.
"Reporting! Mayday! The fourth Falcon Fighter is down!"
The soldier yelled, "The chief pilot is requesting to pull back! The entire fleet will go down if they stay!"

Kitagawa Heya's face darkened. He was the one who accused Nikkawa Uchu of using a hammer to crack a nut like Chen Xiaobei, and that it would be impossible for Chen Xiaobei to escape the Falcon Fighters!
Right now, the tables had turned.
It was not Chen Xiaobei who had to flee but instead the ten Falcon Fighters who could not escape Chen Xiaobei's grasp!

There were still six Falcon Fighters hovering in the air.
Upon receiving their orders, they immediately turned around to leave.
"Oh, so you're running off now? How polite!"
Chen Xiaobei poised on the Somersault Cloud, clad in the Wardragon Scale and armed with the Sunslaying Divine Bow. With one hand free, he reached into the Infinite Space Ring and pulled out a missile.
With the missile secured in the arrow rest, Chen Xiaobei drew the string back to a full draw.

The missile was released with a combat power of 93,000, rendering much faster than a Falcon Fighter!
Even the Falcon Fighters' speed was at most, equivalent to only 75,000.

Now, the repercussion was coming to bite him in the back.
If this continued on, his reputation as the grand elder of the Divine Sovereign Sect would be completely ruined.
"Your… Your Royal Highness…" The soldier who was standing next to him mouthed defeatedly. "What should we do now? Please advise…"
"Advise your ass! Are you daft or what?"
Nikkawa Uchu was completely bent out of shape.
"The Falcon Fighters are all gone! Do you seriously think you could grow a pair of wings and nab Chen Xiaobei? Or rather, did you think Chen Xiaobei would be dumb enough to come down here to die?"
"I understand…" The soldier quivered in his drenched uniform. "I will arrange for the fleet to return to port."
"Damn… Looks like we're going back empty handed…"
Kitagawa Heya let out a heavy sigh.
There was no way Chen Xiaobei would come down to them. That would literally be a suicide mission.
"Emperor… Isn't that Chen Xiaobei?"
The soldier pointed to something behind Nikkawa Uchu, looking like he had just seen a ghost.
"You simple-minded moron! Do I look like a fool to you? Why would Chen Xiaobei come here?"
Nikkawa Uchu raged, thinking that the soldier was pulling his leg.
"I think you're the moron here! Your enemy is right behind your tail yet you still don't want to believe it?'
Nikkawa Uchu heard Chen Xiaobei's voice muttering behind him.
The next thing he knew, there was a loud 'swoosh'!
"What… the f*ck…"
Nikkawa Uchu and Kitagawa Heya spun around and saw Chen Xiaobei aiming an anti-ship missile at them!
A missile like this could penetrate deeper than ten centimeters into the armor of the warship.

Chen Xiaobei fired the shot at a close range.
Both men did not have time to dodge and was hit right in the face by the impact.

Both the idiots were flung ten meters away.
Kitagawa Heya was still in a pretty decent shape. With a 93,000 combat power, his True Kang Armor could still withstand the force of the impact. As for Nikkawa Uchu, he was not as lucky. Even with his True Kang Armor, he still suffered massive internal injuries. Blood trickled down the corner of his lips and his complexion was the color of ash.
Right where they were standing were the mere remnants; bits and pieces of flesh of the soldier. There was a large cavity where the missile had hit and water was flooding in, quickly filling up the warship!
"You're Chen Xiaobei? Ha! So, you really came down!"
Kitagawa Heya's body lit up with a fiery True Kang, glaring at Chen Xiaobei like he was dinner.
"Heh, I came to capture this dog Nikkawa Uchu, but I didn't know that there was a buy one free one offer!" Chen Xiaobei grinned.
"Dog? How dare you call me a dog?!" Immediately jumping to his feet, Nikkawa Uchu wiped the blood off his lips with the back of his hand and barked, "You could've taken the high road, but instead, you chose the path to your own destruction! Today, I'll show you what real torture is like! You'd be begging then to be dead!"
"Hey punk! Which circuit in your brain went haywire? Instead of escaping after destroying all those jets, you chose to come down here to die?!" The fire around Kitagawa Heya's body blazed fiercer. "Don't say that I didn't warn you. I am the grand elder of the Divine Sovereign Sect, with a combat power of 93,000! If you kneel down before us now, I will see to it that your punishment be reduced."
"Hah! Who said that I came here to die?" Chen Xiaobei said, laughing. "A friendly reminder too that if you kneel down before me now, we'll save ourselves a whole lot of time and even spare yourself from suffering!"
"You motherf*cking dipshit! Still talking big before your death?!" Nikkawa Uchu screeched. "We have Grand Elder, Kitagawa Heya here with us. You think you're stronger than him?"
"Well honestly, my combat power is nowhere close to his." Chen Xiaobei shrugged. "But winning a battle is not just about the combat power, but also a matter of having the brains and the cards that you hold."
"Are you implying that Grand Elder, Kitagawa Heya has got combat power but no brains or any trump card?"
Nikkawa Uchu fumed.
"Dude, stop provoking him. We'll know the truth later on." Chen Xiaobei uttered with a tone of indifference.
"Alright then, let's shut up and let the results do the talking!"
Kitagawa Heya took a step forward.
"I only need one move to bring you down!"

The Fire True Kang suddenly burst, and the Fire Celestial Event came after, causing the consecutive explosions.
It consumed half of the battlecruiser and fenced Chen Xiaobei in a sea of flames.
"Katon, Fire Mirage Strike!"
Kitagawa Heya's scream pierced from outside the ring of flames.

Compared to Nikkawa Uchu, the Grand Elder of Divine Sovereign Sect was much more composed.
He had thought that he would be able to incapacitate Chen Xiaobei in one move but when he attacked him, he was surprised to find that Chen Xiaobei's True Kang was reinforced with a combat power of at least 90,000!
It then suddenly dawned on him that Chen Xiaobei was not an easy opponent!
Even though he had prevailed, he did not dare let his guard down and continued using his best skills against Chen Xiaobei.
Just as he yelled, Kitagawa Heya suddenly became a blur, leaving only ashes behind Chen Xiaobei.

"Hahaha… You used piece of shit! Why aren't you talking smack anymore? Go ahead and keep telling us how good you are! Try and call me a dog again? What a useless piece of trash!" Nikkawa Uchu was practically glowing.
"Hey punk! What more do you have to say?!"
Having felt like he had the situation under control, Kitagawa Heya continued to launch attacks and taunt Chen Xiaobei, eventually lowering his guard down.

Kitagawa Heya approached from Chen Xiaobei's right and attacked him before Chen Xiaobei even had the chance to hit the ground.
"Why aren't you saying anything? C'mon! Weren't you an eloquent speaker just now?!"
"I want to see just how long you can last!"
"Let's see if it's your True Kang or your body that breaks first!"
Every time he spoke, Kitagawa Heya would attack Chen Xiaobei from a different direction.
With his speed and dexterity, Chen Xiaobei was thrown around like a ball that did not have a chance to bounce of the ground!

"I don't have much of anything else, but these healing medication, I have plenty! Let me give you a good beating first and then heal you later on! I can afford to do so!"

"I understand that the two of you do not know the exact location, but don't you guys know the direction at least?"

"The earth is so big. I'm sure you've sent your men to a thorough sweep. Didn't you find anything at all?"

If his cultivation had reached the Earth God's level, would he be then in the Earth God Realm?
If so, then besides Lu Bu, would there be any other ancient legends there?

Monkey King had told Chen Xiaobei that after the Void Land was destroyed, Hong Diao had used his mighty power and in only thirty-three days he seperated three realms!
His sole purpose was to protect the human race that was left in the lost land, so that they would not be ravaged by other stronger forces!
Some of the deities and other demons possessed the power to destroy stars and even swallow the sun! If they could roam freely amongst men on earth, then all of mankind would surely become extinct!
That was precisely why Hong Diao locked the passageways and only under special circumstances when deities needed to perform certain tasks, were they then be only allowed to walk amongst men. Demons, on the other hand, were basically forbidden from setting foot on earth.
Of course, even if they had come to complete a mission, the deities' strength would be greatly restricted in order to ensure that human beings would not be affected. A good example would be the Three Realms Mission!
In a desperate move, Hong Diao had set a law to ascend to the heavens.
Once a creature on earth becomes strong enough to destroy a star, then calamity would fall on earth. Should one survive the calamity, he/she would be able to unlock the Door of Longevity, ascend to heavens and become a deity. However, if the person fails to survive the calamity, he/she would be killed by heaven's wrath.
Because it was Monkey King who had told him about ascending to heaven, Chen Xiaobei believed them a hundred percent and even was looking forward to it with great anticipation!
Putting aside all the benefits of being in the heavenly realm, Chen Xiaobei's close sidekicks Monkey King, Yanwang, and Xiao Tianquan were also all there. Such a sacrifice touched Chen Xiaobei to work to the best of his ability as to not let them down.
For starters, Cheng'er and many other goddesses were there as well. Would Chen Xiaobei have 'fun' with them?
Chen Xiaobei was really excited about that.
"Master, what are you laughing to yourself about?" Kitagawa Heya probed cautiously.
How could he have known that Chen Xiaobei was imagining meeting Cheng'er and wondering something risqué would go down between them?
"Oh, er, it's nothing!" Chen Xiaobei straightened his face and said, "So far we have an idea of where the special place is. Although we only have a vague idea, I'm certain that it wouldn't be too far off. So, my plan is to allow the crown prince's wedding to go ahead as planned in order for Nikkawa Uchu and the Tenshou's deal to go on as agreed! When the time comes for the Tenshou to head to that special place, I will put on a mask and go with him in place of Nikkawa Uchu!"
Nikkawa Uchu agreed, "That is a very good idea! I've seen master's masks myself! They are flawless! Master will be able to benefit so much by going there!"
Kitagawa Heya also nodded and said, "If it all goes well, master's cultivation might just surpass Phantom Rain's and probably even break through the next major cultivation!"
"That is highly possible! Phantom Rain's cultivation is so high level because she went there. Our master hasn't even set foot in that place but he could reach 90,000 combat power on his own! He might even have a major breakthrough!" Nikkawa Uchu added.
"God, I can't wait!"
Chen Xiaobei smiled before changing his tone to a more serious one. "There is however one more thing I want to know. Is there an Orochi Scale like this in the Divine Sovereign Sect?"
Chen Xiaobei took out the Orochi Scale he had and showed it to Nikkawa Uchu and Kitagawa Heya.
After all, being already his loyal hounds, there was no need to keep secrets from them.
"I know that!" Kitagawa Heya replied. "The Emperor God has something like this! He had openly announced to all the members of the Divine Sovereign Sect to keep their eyes peeled for this scale. If it is found and the scale given to him, they will be rewarded handsomely."
"So, it really is in the Divine Sovereign Sect!" Chen Xiaobei narrowed his eyes and said pensively, "It looks like Li Xiang's intel is pretty accurate. But how do I get my hands on that Orochi Scale?"
"I'm afraid that's not possible!" Kitagawa Heya said. "The Emperor God treasures it and keeps it by his side all the time! He brings it with him everywhere he goes! Even when he's showering, he would place it no further than an arms length!"
Chen Xiaobei frowned at this.
"How is the Emperor God's cultivation?"
"Why do you even ask?" Kitagawa Heya asked him back.
Chen Xiaobei answered with conviction. "Judging from the way the Emperor God safeguards the Orochi Scale, the only way to get it is by force! We'll have to give him a drubbing in order to get it!"
"My god… that's even more far-fetched…" Kitagawa Heya said in distraught. "The Emperor God's cultivation had already reached pinnacle phase of Celestial Cultivation with 130,000 combat power! On top of that, he has mastered S-tier ninjutsu! He's the most powerful ninja in Japan!"
Nikkawa Uchu quickly added, "Master, you have to take this seriously! The Emperor God's cultivation is much higher than yours! If you take him on, you will die!"
"I already know I have to do!" Chen Xiaobei half-smiled and said, "I've been very careful with my trump cards all this while because I was saving them for this battle with the Divine Sovereign Sect! He may have 130,000 combat power, but I, Chen Xiaobei, am not the least bit afraid of him!"

Both Nikkawa Uchu and Kitagawa Heya were lost for words.
How could a man with 90,000 combat power is supposed to fight with a man yielding 130,000 combat power?
If this was not meant to be a joke, then Chen Xiaobei must indeed have lost his marbles.
But what they did not know was that, if Chen Xiaobei laid all of his trump cards out, he would be able to defeat the entire Divine Sovereign Sect! Even the Emperor God himself would be forced to get down on his knees and surrender!
Chen Xiaobei could not be bothered to explain this to them and immediately got down to planning his next move.
Qie Loulan used the Art of Disguise to make a mask of Nikkawa Uchu so that Chen Xiaobei would be able to fool his enemies.
Nikkawa Uchu then left with two bottles of the Hundred Herbs Potion in order to help his son's injuries recover so that the wedding would be able to take place on time.
Chen Xiaobei discussed with Kitagawa Heya for a while and then asked Qie Loulan to make a mask of one of the Divine Sovereign Sect's disciples. That person was Kitagawa Heya's closest disciple, whose bodily dimensions were similar to Chen Xiaobei's. This would enable Chen Xiaobei to blend in with the rest in the Divine Sovereign Sect!
Nothing much happened that night.
It was early the next morning, and Qie Loulan had finally finished the masks.
Chen Xiaobei put on the mask of the Divine Sovereign Sect's disciples, and donned on the clothes of the sect, ready to leave and head for the Divine Sovereign Sect."
"It's time to rescue Demonic Fox from the pit of fire!"
In the Divine Sovereign Sect, on Mt. Kurosaki Yama on the shore Northeast of Japan.
At the outermost corners of the mountain, stood a temple; a place for worship for the believers and a place of interest for the tourists. But the areas deeper into the mountains were completely off-limits as that was where the Divine Sovereign Sect was; not just anyone would be allowed to set foot into that place.
Earlier this morning, Chen Xiaobei, having assumed the identity of Kitagawa Heya's closest disciple, entered the sect with Kitagawa Heya. As a Grand Elder, those under the Emperor God namely the disciples would greet Kitagawa Heya respectfully.
Chen Xiaobei, on the other hand, benefited by association. When the other disciples saw him, they all bowed and nodded just the same.
Everything seemed to be going well thus far.
Sooner than expected, both Chen Xiaobei and Kitagawa Heya arrived at the back of the mountain; the forbidden area in the sect.
The terrain had been leveled flat with bricks and a Holy Altar was constructed there.
A girl, clad in a white long-sleeved silk robe was kneeling in the center with her eyes shut.
She was simply stunning; with slender brows and a dainty nose, it was a sight reflecting the brush paintings of a Jiangnan Beauty.
Her dark hair gently draped across her back like a waterfall, a stark contrast to her pristine white garment.
As the wind blew, her silky hair and robes danced gracefully in the air; she mimicked a radiant snow lotus, untainted and silently blooming in this isolated secret place.
Chen Xiaobei knew this woman. She was the reason for this current mission. He was going to help her escape this living hell that was the Divine Sovereign Sect.
But Chen Xiaobei had never seen this side of her.
From the hostess at the nightclub who tried to seduce Chen Xiaobei the first time they met, to this flawless snow lotus before his eyes.
She was a completely different person!
"Master…" Kitagawa Heya whispered. "Tochigi Hyokitsune is there. Now you've finally gotten a chance to see her! But please, do not attempt to take another step towards her!"
"I know." Chen Xiaobei replied, nodding slowly.
As there was still quite a distance to reaching the Holy Altar, Chen Xiaobei and Kitagawa Heya decided to pause for a bit, as they quickly scouted the surroundings of the Holy Altar.
On each side of the four corners of the Holy Altar stood a figure; a total of four men whom amongst were three elderly and one young man, perched on their heels, muttering syllables. It looked there was a holy ceremony ongoing.
Undoubtedly, the three old men were three of the four guardians of Divine Sovereign Sect, all of which were Celestial Cultivated Enigmatic Ninjas.
Their cultivations were, of course, one rung below the Grand Elder, Kitagawa Heya's.
Since he already had Kitagawa Heya under his thumb, he could not be bothered much for these old men.
The fourth man, a younger lad in his thirties was the real reason why Chen Xiaobei stopped in his tracks.
He was the leader of the Divine Sovereign Sect, Tenshou God's closet disciple; possibly the strongest man in all of Japan. His Celestial Cultivation was at the pinnacle phase of a 130,000 combat power and would most plausibly achieve the next cultivation really soon!
Although Chen Xiaobei could have taken him down, he was trying hard to refrain himself from alerting his enemy and destroying the crown prince's wedding plans, which would then destroy the opportunity to realize the pact between Tenshou God and Nikkawa Uchu.
Chen Xiaobei would have to hold back for now and only strike later when the right time comes.
"I did some research and found out that before the Holy Lady is to be married off, she must fast in the Holy Land under the watchful eyes of the Emperor God and the four guardians while they are chanting!"
Chen Xiaobei questioned, "I've always thought that that was just a subterfuge to deceive the people. Hmm, but they really are chanting! Does it work?"
"That's no mere incantation. This is a most definitely a unique way to brainwash. They are planting a subconscious like a seed into the very depths of Tochigi Hyokitsune's soul!"
Kitagawa Heya further explained, "In the future, if Tochigi Hyokitsune does as she is told, nothing will ever happen to her. But should she rebel, the Emperor God will use a secret technique and control her like a putter!"
"%$#@!?"
Chen Xiaobei was not happy to hear this. "Oh god, they are planning to mess her up real bad! This is insane!"
He suddenly had a flash back to a past memory in Paradise Island, to the moment before time was reversed when Demonic Fox told Chen Xiaobei everything about herself.
She had always felt that she was very lucky to be accepted into the Divine Sovereign Sect.
She even boasted that her sifu was extremely kind to her and naively believed that the Emperor God and Nikkawa Okazaka would be able to avenge her, which led to her restrained arranged marriage with him.
Whilst dreams could be beautiful, the reality is always cold and harsh.
Neither the Emperor God nor Nikkawa Okazaka would ever avenge her. They dared not to even attempt that.
It was all a lie right from the start.
What was even more ludicrous was that they were brainwashing her all this time!
How could Chen Xiaobei not be mad?
"Is there a way we stop this?" Chen Xiaobei asked, his tone icy.
"There's no way to do it…" Kitagawa Heya shook his head remorsefully. "The Emperor God and Grand Elders are here, if we go anywhere near the Holy Altar, we'll be killed. Even if the four Grand Elders were to try talking to Tochigi Hyokitsune, they would all be killed as well, as talking to her will halt the brainwashing process. Objectively speaking, unless you have already made up your mind to make a scene, there is no way we could stop the brainwashing without being noticed…"
"Wait!" Chen Xiaobei cut him off and said, "You're saying that talking to her will stop the brainwashing, right?"
"Yup… Yeah!" Kitagawa Heya nodded and said, "Tochigi Hyokitsune must be in an unconscious state of mind throughout the entire brainwashing process. If someone speaks to her and awakens her consciousness, the brainwashing would be completely ineffective."
"Great! Then, I have an idea!" Chen Xiaobei's eyes lit up as he proceeded to pick out two delicate knots from the Infinite Space Ring.
"What is this?" Kitagawa Heya asked, curious.
"This is called the Thousand Whisper Knot. It's a Support Type Spiritual Item I managed to sneak from Diao Chan's red packet!" Chen Xiaobei said.
"Diao Chan? Red Envelope?" Kitagawa Heya asked, even more confused than before. "Master, what are you talking about?"
"There's no time to explain!" Chen Xiaobei handed a bow to him and instructed, "Go over there and when you get chance, activate this Spiritual Item and send it to Little Fox's body! That way, I can use my inner thoughts to awaken her consciousness."
"Use inner thoughts to awaken her? How is that possible?"
Kitagawa Heya stared at Chen Xiaobei, lost for words. He felt as if Chen Xiaobei was telling him a myth, it felt way too surreal for comprehension.
"Enough talk! Hurry and go over!"
Chen Xiaobei hastened. He was in no mood to explain everything.
"Yes, master!" Kitagawa Heya hid the knots in his sleeve and walked over to the Holy Altar.
As he was approaching, approximately ten meters away, the Emperor God had already noticed him.
The Emperor God got up slowly, walked down the Holy Altar and towards Kitagawa Heya.
"All hail the Emperor God!"
Kitagawa Heya greeted obsequiously but softly. He was familiar with this unusual environment and knew not to raise his voice.
"How did the operation go last night? Managed to capture the guy?"
The Emperor God appeared calm.
"Nikkawa Uchu came begging for help from my Divine Sovereign Sect just for some little Chinese boy. He's behaving more immature as he ages!"
"Emperor God… I have something to report… The operation last night was a failure… Chen Xiaobei escaped…" Kitagawa Heya replied, his face clouded with humiliation.
"What?!"
The Emperor God was taken aback at this news.
Raising his voice, he probed, "The both of you created a huge scene and you let Chen Xiaobei slip away? What the hell did you guys do?"
Clearly, the Emperor God felt that sending an entire army for the capture of Chen Xiaobei was completely unnecessary. It should have been an easy job.
He had never thought that Chen Xiaobei would be able to escape this dragnet.
There was nothing else more humiliating than that!
Kitagawa Heya quickly tried to explain, "We've got no idea what Chen Xiaobei used to destroy all ten of the Falcon Fighters. Neither Nikkawa Uchu nor I have a flying Spiritual Item, we had not choice but to only stand there helplessly and watch him escape…"
"What?!"
The Emperor God lost his temper and shrilled, "All ten of the Falcons were destroyed? How is that even possible? That is the world's most advanced fighter jet!"
"I'm afraid it's true… Chen Xiaobei wasn't as easy as we thought…"
Kitagawa Heya sighed, bowing his head in remorse.
"Who would've thought? Who would've thought?!"
The Emperor God's eyes narrowed.
There was a somber look in his eyes as he muttered, "We've totally underestimated Chen Xiaobei. Who knew that he really is somebody. It's no wonder that my Shimei, Phantom Rain could not capture him too. He's one really tough nut to crack!"
Kitagawa Heya was afraid that he had alarmed the Emperor God, which would then be an unfavorable odd for Chen Xiaobei so he quickly said, "Hmm, not really, he's actually not that difficult to crack. If that punk so as much as touches the surface of the sea, I'll be able to kill him in a second!"
"You fool!"
Surprisingly, that statement barely convinced the Emperor God into looking down at Chen Xiaobei.
"I have a feeling that this punk is stronger than we think he is. If he ever touches the surface of the ocean, the one who'd win might be him."

Kitagawa Heya was horrified.
The Emperor God's instincts were eerily accurate.
When Chen Xiaobei had landed on the deck of the battlecruiser last night, he pummeled both Nikkawa Uchu and Kitagawa Heya until they swelled up like balloons.
This proved that the Emperor God's combat power was not only high, but he was also very precise at discerning situations and had a sixth sense on detecting danger.
Convincing him to underrate Chen Xiaobei was not an easy task.
Kitagawa Heya began to slowly falter; he was starting to doubt if Chen Xiaobei's knot would really work.
What if they failed to awaken the Demonic Fox but instead provoked the Emperor God? They would be then in deep trouble.
It might even cause a butterfly effect, and affect Chen Xiaobei's other plans!
"What are you staring at? What? You're doubting my judgement?" The Emperor God asked.
"No, of course not!" Kitagawa Heya quickly snapped out of his train of thoughts, straightened up and said, "Your wisdom far surpasses mine. Whatever you say it is, that is what it will be."
"Heh, alright. Well, you don't have to flatter me!" The Emperor God chuckled and said, "Return to your position. The wedding is only 48 hours away! We must complete the brainwashing within this time! Once we are done, I will put through a word to Sifu to reward the four of you."
"Thank you, Emperor God! I will take my leave now."
Kitagawa Heya then immediately walked towards the Holy Altar where he knelt down and started to mumble lines of cryptic, unintelligible chant.
The Emperor God mirrored the same; eyes closed and lips incanting.
Since the big wedding was drawing near, they could not afford to make any mistakes. Even the Emperor God himself had to contributed quite a bit into this.
But never in a lifetime would he have guessed that the Grand Elder whom he trusted most, had already become a spy!
Kitagawa Heya opened his eyes cautiously to peek and saw that the Emperor God and the three other Grand Elders had their eyes still shut tightly.
This was his chance!
Kitagawa Heya then secretly activated the Thousand Whisper Knot.
This Spiritual Item's Spiritual Attribute was not a strong one, instead it was gentle and mild. Upon communicating with Kitagawa Heya, it moved obediently according to his instructions.
In a split second, a light pink halo flew silently towards the Demonic Fox like a butterfly and perched right on her chest.
"Yes! It's done!"
Chen Xiaobei was on the other side, anxiously observing.
He immediately activated the other Thousand Whisper Knot.
Similarly, a pink halo landed on Chen Xiaobei's chest.
A sudden wave of intense force pierced through his mind as if he was connected to an invisible cord, allowing electricity to flow through.
The line connected Chen Xiaobei to Demonic Fox.
Chen Xiaobei consciously ensured to clamp his mouth shut before calling out to her in his heart, "Little Fox! Little Fox! Do you hear me?'
"Mm…"
A familiar female voice rang in his head.
The voice sounded languid, like when a person had just woken up from sleep.
"Don't open your eyes! And don't open you mouth or we'll be in trouble!" Chen Xiaobei quickly warned her.
Demonic Fox's conscious mind had been awakened. If he accidentally cause her to open her mouth, the cat would then be let out of the bag.
"Who are you? Am I dreaming?"
Demonic Fox sounded extremely weak.
"Stupid Fox! Can't you tell from my voice?" Chen Xiaobei teased.
"This voice… it's you? You're that bastard!, Chen Xiaobei!" Demonic Fox exclaimed. "My god! Why would I even be dreaming about a douche like you? This is impossible!"
Demonic Fox did not recall opening up to Chen Xiaobei and dying with him.
The moonlight cache had undone it when time was reversed.
Thus, the reason why Demonic Fox remembered him as the man who bullied her.
"Little Fox, calm down! This is not a dream."
Helpless, Chen Xiaobei he had no time for explanation but tried to reassure her saying, "I have something very important to tell you! You must listen carefully!"
"Tsk! You bullied me! What good could you possibly do?" Demonic Fox spat. "I will not listen to you! I'm going to open my eyes now so that you'll disappear from this dream!"
"If you don't wish to avenge the extermination of your family then go ahead and open your eyes!" Chen Xiaobei said.
"What?! How did you know that?" Demonic Fox asked in bewilderment.
These were things that Demonic Fox had never told anyone else before. While she had wanted to utilize the Emperor God and Nikkawa Okazaka for her revenge, but because they were both unreliable, she had said nothing about it to either of them.
Imagine the shock that hit her when she found out that someone else knew about it, and all the more, that person was Chen Xiaobei!
"Tell me now! How did you find out?! Does anyone else know about this besides you?"
Fear and anxiety filled her mind. She felt as if her deepest, darkest secret had been exposed!
"I can't possibly explain everything in a few words but don't you worry, I didn't tell anyone. I promise I won't hurt you but I'll do my best to help you." Chen Xiaobei reassured her, his tone sober.
It would probably take the whole day to explain everything to her. In fact, even if he told her about Moonlight Cache reversing time, the probability was high that she would not believe him.
"You'd help me? Why?" She asked, unconvinced.
Chen Xiaobei was one major asshole in her dictionary of people. She could count the number of times he bullied her. However, she was also aware that he only did that in defense when she tried to kill him on more than one occasion.
The only reason that she still remained alive today was because Chen Xiaobei took mercy on her.
The more she thought about it, the more conflicted she felt about Chen Xiaobei.
There was no hatred, but there was definitely conflict.
There was no gratitude, but Chen Xiaobei had definitely for the fact, spared her life.
There was no favorable impression, but there was definitely a lot of skin to skin contact with Chen Xiaobei more than once.
There was no admiration, but she felt a certain adoration and desire for him.
He killed Meichuan Neiku in Green Vine City and single-handedly took control of the entire auction in Paradise Island!
These were not things an ordinary man could do!
Demonic Fox's heart was definitely shaken more than once by Chen Xiaobei.
These feelings of adoration and desire starting emerging once ahead, very subtly.
And it was under the fleeting moments of these emotions that she approached Chen Xiaobei that day, after the Paradise Island auction.
It was also then that she opened up heart-to-heart to Chen Xiaobei.
The only issue was that that particular memory was wiped away by the undoing of time.
The only thing she could recall at the moment was wanting to talk to Chen Xiaobei.
But she never told him anything. How could he have known? Why was he helping her?
That's just too uncanny!
"I know you still don't trust me, but you have to do as I say or we'll both die!" Chen Xiaobei said in a tone that meant business." The Emperor God and the four Grand Elders are brainwashing you, right now. I've used a Spiritual Item to wake you up. If you open you eyes or even move an inch, they will realize that they've failed to condition you, you'll be useless to them then and they will just get rid of you!"
"Brain… Brainwash?" Demonic Fox was disturbed by this revelation. "No wonder it feels like I've been sleeping for a long time. And when I woke up, my mind was blank for a while…"
Demonic Fox came to realization that she was just a trading chip. When told that they were brainwashing her, she chose to believe Chen Xiaobei.
"I'll try to stay as quiet and still, but could you at least tell me what you're planning on doing next?" Demonic Fox asked.
Chen Xiaobei answered, "Just endure it for a little while more. The brainwashing is almost done. Once that's done, I will find a replacement for you so you won't have to marry Nikkawa Okazaka!"
"Replace? How are you going to do that?" Demonic Fox was curious to know. "Wait, are you planning on disguising as me and marry Nikkawa Okazaka yourself?"
"What?!" Chen Xiaobei was mortified. "Okay maybe I did think of that, but I don't have boobs as large as yours or that perky of an ass as yours!"
"Pervert!"
Demonix Fox was abashed.
Thank goodness, she could control her state of mind otherwise she might've just blushed and gave it away.
"Okay, I'll stop teasing you."
Chen Xiaobei then said, "All you gotta do now is just wait. If you have anything to say to me, use your mind! Should anything unexpected happen, go to Kitagawa Heya. He is one of my men now; and he will make sure to protect you!"
"Wait, what? Grand Elder, Kitagawa Heya is one of your men?" Demonic Fox then said snidely, "Oh so you think I'm that dumb? You could've just gone ahead and told me that Tenshou God is also one of your men."
"Don't be so shocked!" Chen Xiaobei chuckled. "How did you think I put the Spiritual Item on you if Kitagawa Heya wasn't one of my men?"
"Hmm…"
Demonic Fox turned silent. Lost for words, she was starting to be convinced that Chen Xiaobei was telling her the truth.
But she could not, for the life of her, ever imagine that the Grand Elder of Divine Sovereign Sect who ranked the third most powerful man in Japan to be under Chen Xiaobei's authority!
This was completely difficult to believe, even more than the fact if the sun were to rise from the North!
"Alright. You must listen to me so that I can save you from this rut." Chen Xiaobei said.
"Save me?" Demonic Fox questioned. "Didn't you say that you were going to help me avenge my family? I demand to know how you plan on doing that."
"I haven't decided yet… this enemy is a demigod. You should know better than me how strong he is. So look, please try and be a little more patient!"
Chen Xiaobei remarked, "I don't just make simply make any empty promises. Besides, I've already promised to avenge your family no matter what it costs and no matter how long it'll take. I've given my word and I'll do it."
"Mm…" Demonic Fox's tone softened, her heart was moved.
Even though they were physically apart, she could feel the determination he carried. And it made her realize that this man was really sincere in his desire to help her out.
"Chen Xiaobei, thank you…" Demonic Fox said in her heart. "No matter how things are going to turn out, I just want to thank you!"
"No worries. So as long as your gratitute is shown through actions, and not just all talk. Heh!" Chen Xiaobei grinned.
"I have an incoming call. I'll need to take this outside. Remember what I said and wait for me!"
"Alright…" Demonix Fox replied softly.

"Hello? Xiaobei? What took you so damn long to pick up the phone? Something happened?" Six Ear Macaque's distressed voice could be heard from the other line.
"Dude, what happened that made you lose your cool?" Chen Xiaobei was alarmed.
Six Ear Macaque had always been the really chill and fearless one.
Something big must have happened to agitate him that much!
"The Chanism sent their people here to kill Jiang Ziya!" Six Ear Macaque could barely hide his terror. "They beat the living daylight out of Tanaka Tsuyoshi and Can Jingu! Li Xiang and I are taking old man Jiang to hide in the mountains, but they brought a Heavenly Dog with them. They're going to find us pretty soon!"
"They? Is there many of them? What are their cultivations?" Chen Xiaobei was shocked upon hearing this.
"They are three Heavenly Soldiers and one Heavenly Dog! Their cultivation… Urgh…"
Six Ear Macaque broke off mid-sentence.
"Six Ear! Are you alright?"
In a flurrying whisk, Chen Xiaobei quickly summoned the Somersault Cloud and rushed to the hiding place.

They were however carrying some really powerful Spiritual Items. They can defeat someone that has the same cultivation with them almost instantly! Tanaka Tsuyoshi was defeated just like that!"

Chen Xiaobei smiled sadistically at the brawny man.
