North military port, Maharlikan kingdom Archipelago
"This mission is so important to us" the man said while he swept off the bead of sweat on his forehead "this will buy us time untill the allied force arrive."
The man who are speaking is the fleet admiral of the Maharlikan Navy.
"And i need 10 brave captains who will voluntarily join in this mission" he speak with some worry in his eyes that no one will present themselves. All of the men present here are all high officials of military, but no one is brave enough to Voluntarily pressent themselves to join in this mission. Well there's no one who will blame them, this mission is so ambitious for it to call just an important one. This mission requires one Merchant ship that would carry a nuclear weapon and 10 warship that will protect it so that the merchant ship can make it way through to the center of enemy fleet and explode itself. Once it explode, the explosion will cover a 10 nautical miles in radius engulping all the enemy ships.
Minutes has passed, untill someone brave spoke.
"Captain of BRP Antonio luna, Capt. Jonas Lipata, voluntarily join in this mission, fleet admiral!"
Then another voice come.
"Captain of BRP Sierra Madre, John Del Pillar, voluntarily join in this mission, fleet admiral!"
then one after another the 10 brave navy captain emerges from the crowd of military officials.
The fleet admiral is surprised. Because they are the top students whom he has mentored while he is a military intructor while he is military academy.
"Now that the particpants in this mission is complete, all we need to do is to prepare" The fleet admiral spoke with satisfaction in his eyes. "All 10 captains, i need you to talk to your crew members regarding this mission, if they refuse to join dont force them. ask them like how i asked you" the captains understood the speech of the Fleet admiral just now "now if everything is done, report to me as soon as possible"
"Sir, yes sir!" the captains answered in unison,
Then turned around and walk away but one of captains remains still in his position this gave the fleet admiral a confused feeling but, its still not enough to affect his composure, then he asked the captain. "what is it captain? do you something to ask me?"
The captain hesitating to turn around, but still not give in to such hesitation, turned around snappily "Well Fleet Admiral, with all due respect, may i ask who is the one who will controll the Merchant vessel?" the captain questioned.
"Well there's only one person that i know who is fitted in that important position" the fleet admiral paused, then he smiled and continue "You will know the answer to your question tomorrow"
Then the fleet admiral, turned around and walk away leaving the captain standing, thinking who is thae person that the fleet admiral has mentioned.
Next day.
Only the participating crews, officers, captains, and a few high ranking officials of navy are present at the North Military Port quadrangle, medias are allowed because this mission is very conservative and secret. one leaked information then the whole mission is going to fail
Then a man with highly repectable presence appeared out of the crowd of officials. The person is none the less is the commander in chief, The President of the Maharlikan republic. He walked all his way to the stage while being escorted by the Fleet Admiral on the right and Admiral on the left. When they reached the podium, the president give a final salute to soldiers, and gave a handshake to fleet admiral. well not everyone is surprised by the behaviour of the president towards The fleet admiral, well because they are known to be Academy buddies, also the President is the former Fleet admiral. After that, the president gave his military speech.
"All of you my fellow Sailors, Soldiers, Officers, and captains, My fellow countrymen, sons of Maharlikan Kingdom. I the President of this republic cannot thank you enough for your descision. Thank you for doing this for our motherland, i thank you for being brave for doing this to save your country,families and friends. I know that this mission is very crucial for us, the is no certainty that the Allied force would come before the enemy arrives here. So that i can only give you this mission. If this mission became successful, it will greatly slowed the movement of our enemies."the president paused, a single tear drops from his left eye, but he quickly swept it by a handkerchief then he looked at his friend the Fleet admiral then continued " Fleet Admiral Dran Ona" the admiral stood up from his chair then walked to the podium "I will entrust you this mission" the president salute to him, then he saluted back, the fleet admiral then speak under his breath "Good bye my friend" then he walked to his chair then looked at the captain who asked him a question yesterday, who is now looked as surprised as the other captains and then he give a grin.
"Now The preparation is complete and this battle shall bring the horror to our enemies that the people of Maharlikans are not to be engaged of and this battle we shall break the enemy and bring salvation to our fellow countrymen, this will fan our blazing thirst for peace, freedom and justice. Now i command you Sons of maharlikans be brave and destroy the enemy before us!!"
"SIR, YES SIR!!" the soldiers answered proudly full of boldness and bravery not even thinking the death that awaits them.

It was midday when the fleet depart from the Northern Military Port.
The sky is so clear where there are no thick clouds, the sea are very smooth, the breeze is pretty relaxing too. Well may be this will be called the calmness before the storm. It was pretty lively in the ship to the radio is always so noisy, the fleet admiral ordered the fleet before to be casual before the battle, they can call their superiors by their name or called them brothers or sister. The fleet are maintaining an average speed of 15knots pretty slow for an average naval vessel but for the weapon loaded merchant ship this is their safe speed. The nuclear bomb that they carry is a 2000's model, pretty large but not so heavy. The merchant ship is large enough, its a multipurpose vessel, before the government buy this ship, its a large 5years old OBO carrier before. Now its going to be a weapon used to destroy a whole fleet.
The fleet formation is looked like a "(:<" there are two destroyers are at the front OBO ship in front of the destroyers are the 4 frigate class vessel, 4 corvettes class mounted of auto cannon.
"Fleet Admiral this is Capt. Gonzaga of BRP Calamba, we saw a hundred battleships in radar they are 21nm ahead of us, we await for your orders" the radio sounded.
"radar reading confirmed. hundred of battleship 21 miles ahead of us" the radioman repeated the captain says"they are awaiting for following orders" radioman continued.
the Fleet Admiral clenched his fist, Closed his eyes then sighed. When he opened his eyes again it was full determination and valor.
"ORDER THEM TO RETREAT"
