Rita finally woke up the next day, they all felt relieved she could survived. Franky called Mrs. Yang she asked for a day off that day to take care of Rita, she called her brother Ethan also about what happened. Ethan came to the hospital that morning, he took a change cloth for Franky and he wanted to see the children, there he met Marco.
Ethan :"Here's your cloth you go and change first I'll take care of the children here." he gave the cloth to Franky then he looked at Marco "Who are you ?"
Marco :"Hi, I'm Marco Wang I was there when this little girl collapsed, I took her here together with them."
Ethan :"Oh I see, I'm Ethan Lin, I'm Franky's brother. Thank you for your help. Don't you have to go to work ? You may go now, I can take care of them."
Marco :"Thank you I will go after I see the doctor first. I feel pity for them, they've been starving for days, they lost their mom a month ago at such a young age."
Franky came back after she change her cloth, she came together with the doctor.
Marco :"How is she doctor ?"
The doctor :"She's recovering now, but let her stay here until tomorrow, we want to observe her a while."
Marco :"It's OK doctor don't worry about the expenses, just call me if something happen."
Franky :"But she's nobody to you Mr. Wang, let me pay for her medicals fee."
Marco :"Don't worry, I know your sincerity, but I want to pay for her."
Ethan :"OK let's not arguing about who's gonna pay. Let him pay Frank."
After Marco left, Ethan told Franky to explain about what had happen and she told him all.
Ethan :"So, what's your plan after she go out from here ?"
Franky :"Can they stay at our house ge ?"
Ethan :"Actually I don't mind, but you have to think about their future, and how about their identities ?"
Franky :"Hmm... you're right brother, living in the big city is a lot more complicated not just like in the villages. So what do you think we should do ?"
Ethan :"I think you'd better send them to the orphanage. I'll report about them to the police, let them arrange for them."
Franky :"OK just do what you think is best for them. But let me take care of her at our house at least for a week until she get recover."
At lunch time Marco came to the hospital again, he brought some meals for Franky and Randy.
Marco :"How is she doing now ?"
Franky :"She's trying to drink first then eat porridge a little, her struggle for living is getting better."
Marco :"It's good to hear it."
Franky :"I've discussed with my brother before, we've decided to send them to the orphanage after she got dismissed from the hospital, what do you think Mr. Wang ?"
Marco :"I think it's the best solution for now, they're still very young, let the authority arranged for their lives. And Please don't call me Mr. Wang I'm not that old, just call my name Marco."
Franky :"OK, can I call you brother Marco ?"
Marco :"That's better ! Just keep inform me about her whereabouts, I should go back to the office now, I have an important meeting today."
Franky :"OK thank you for your concern brother Marco."
Franky just stayed at the hospital that whole day, she took care Rita very well, she fed her just like her own sister.
Franky :"How old are you Randy ?"
Randy :"I'm eight years old, Rita is six years old."
Franky :"Where were you come from ?"
Randy :"We were from the village at city S. Our mom took us here to search for our dad, he never visit us for two years. But mom didn't know where he live, we've been here for ten months, mom had tried to work to earn some money for us, but living in the big city was too expensive, we've been on the street for six months and she got cold everyday because she was trying to protect us. That's why she died a month ago."
Franky :"Why don't you go to the orphanage ?"
Randy :"I don't know where to go ? I was too afraid that someone will harm us, so we've been hiding in that small alley since our mom died."
Franky couldn't hold her tears from falling down listening to his stories.
Franky :"Don't worry you don't have to go back to that alley anymore ! You'll be living with me for a while, but you have to go to the orphanage after the arrangement completed. It's not that I don't want to take care of you, but I don't want to against the law."
Randy :"That's alright brother we understand, I thank you so much for saving our lives. You're so kind to us ! I'll always remember your kindness !"
That night Ethan and Marco came together to the hospital.
Ethan :"I think you look familiar somehow ?"
Marco :"Yeah I think so, but I can't remember when we've ever met. Where are you from ?"
Ethan :"I came from H city in the villages."
Marco :"Really ? I was born in that city too, but I've moved since I was fifteen."
Ethan :"Oh I see."
Marco :"How is Rita ? I have something for you." he came with a teddy bear, he gave it to Rita, she was very happy to have it.
Rita smiled very happy :"This is for me ? Thank you uncle."
Marco :"Don't call me master, just call me brother !"
Rita :"Thank you brother Marco."
Marco used to be wanted to have brothers and sisters, but he just a single child, and his father died at young age. Ethan visit them at the hospital for an hour, he had to leave because he had a night classes.
Ethan :"Excuse me I have to leave first, I have classes to catch up."
Marco :"Ouw what are you studying ?"
Ethan :"I'm studying Law."
Marco :"Wow, that's good. You want to be a lawyer ?"
Ethan :"Yes"
Marco :"Just let me know when you'll graduated, I'll introduce you to my friend, he had a big law firm."
Ethan :"Okay I will."
Marco was enjoying playing with Randy and Rita for a while in the hospital, he told Franky to have a rest, but she didn't want to go home since they will go home the next day, Marco stayed at the hospital until nine o'clock.
Marco :"You can go home and have a rest Franky, I'll take care of them here."
Franky :"No, you have to work tomorrow, you should go home and rest now brother."
Marco :"I will after playing with them a while. What's your plan for them ?"
Franky :"I'll take them to my apartment for a week until she recover, then I'll leave them to the police. Let the authority arrange the orphanage for them."
Marco :"Great... I'll still have a week playing together with them. I'll pick you up tomorrow."
The next day, Marco had arrived at the hospital early in the morning to pay all the bills. While Franky took Randy to have some breakfast, Marco came to her room.
Marco :"Hi Rita how are you today ?"
Rita :"I'm fine, I'm going to brother Franky's home today."
Marco :"Yes, and I'll drive you there. Where is he and your brother ?"
Rita :"Maybe they're having breakfast."
Marco :"OK let's wait for them a while. You're a good girl, you'll be grow up to be a beautiful lady someday ! Don't get sick anymore OK !"
Fifteen minutes later Franky showed up together with Randy.
Marco :"Here you are, is everything ready ? Let's go home now !"
Franky :"Yes I've packed up everything, we're ready. Let's go !"
Marco brought them into a children boutique before they go to Franky's house.
Franky :"Brother you don't have to buy them such a luxuries clothing."
Marco :"I want to leave a good memories for them."
Franky smiled, she admired his sincerity :"Let's go kids, pick what you like, I'll help you."
