"Shameless? Now that's funny," Zed smiled amusingly and parted his hand away from Daisy's ample loot. His eyes stared coldly toward the figure behind the window, and giving her no chance to react, he make his move.
Snap!
The sound of Zed snapping his fingers resounded within the now silent chamber. As if carrying a magical effect, a wave of calm yet forceful aura erupted within, turning the place cold yet warm to those that he care.
The space before his eyes distorted and was torn apart, dark-purplish glow emerged behind them and a figure was as if forcefully thrown out of it. All six pair of eyes wandered on the latter curiously, failing to notice that the silhouette behind the window had long since gone, appearing right before their eyes instead.
"What!?" alerted, the girl who had just appeared before the group, had her mouth wide agape unable to comprehend a single thing. But as if that doesn't matter, her aura erupted in retaliation. Faint hollow light appeared around her form telling many of her current strength, but while all had their face turning pale, Zed remain nonchalant and let out a snort.
"First you threatened me as if I was nothing before your eyes. The second you arrive before my door and be a peeping tom. And later you called me shameless for loving my women, and now you wanted to retaliate and harm those that near me? The audacity!" the words had barely left Zed's mouth, that the temperature within the chamber chilled even more.
The air that they breathed out was foggy, and the chill down their spine make them colder. The killing intent that Zed showed, far surpassed the aura that the girl emitted, so much so that it effected even his lovers. But as if that wasn't torturing enough, his spiritual strength eruption followed, thankfully focusing and locking on the girl only and placing her to where she belong.
"Bastard!" unable to move an inch further, even when she emitted her overbearing aura that could pulverize their current stay, the girl remain helpless, locked standing before Zed's naked figure. But never planned to feast her eyes more, the latter waved his hand and clean dark noble robes appear on his and his lovers frame.
"Say, what you truly want from me?" he asked a moment later. The glare and prideful glint before her different colored pupil stir nothing within him, while it was filled with murderous intention and menacing look that could make all go crazy in fear, to him who witness countless death that stem from his very own hands, such aura while very affecting to many, wasn't much before his eyes.
Instead, his golden hues wondered on her hour glass frame with interest, one that put more shame toward the girl's pride. But caring them not, Zed's eyes continue lingered, looking at her exquisite beauty that kindly resemblance someone within his memories.
She was clad in scarlet red robe, as if smeared by blood to some extent. Possessing a sparkling eyes that contain contradict color, the bloody hue on the left and the ocean hue on the right. Even without her unique pupils, all had only one word to describe her appearance. It was, 'Beautiful'.
From her aura, Zed could easily tell that the girl was a prideful one. Flirtatious nor garish seem to have disappear from her dictionary. The only reason why she act so angry at this moment, was all because that little bit of pride that she carried was broken over and over again by the main protagonist, leaving a bad taste toward her little tongue. And a funny thought of revenge appeared in her mind.
But again, as if it amount to nothing, Zed payed her pride no regard and continue to examine her features. Frustrated to some point, as he just couldn't point his finger as to who resemblance she carried with.
"Who are you actually? There's no way that a mere Body Builder like you could emitted such overbearing aura? Is it another treasure, or was it your power... no that was impossible, it must be a treasure," the girl spoke a moment later, cold her tone remain, but now showed more restraint and seem like she had given up on struggling free from his grasp.
The move indeed surprised Zed, after all, those with pride would never submit to other strength no matter how outclassed they were... No actually, there's a few rare individual that showed similar control. Able to will their pride as weapon and shield, and also hidden them away when the situation needed them to.
And as this thought echoed in his mind, a pride filled lady with cold beautiful eyes emerged in his mind. Like most of his unforgettable memories, a scene soon played before his eyes, recounting all that he remember about the beautiful lady.
Standing amidst the cold bloody land, smeared with blood of her enemy and that of her allies, the lady adorn in bloody robe brandished her sword masterfully as if lost in the dance that seem eternal.
One after another, slain enemy dropped on the ground like a ragged doll that resounded within Zed's ears. Rhythmically it was, that soon become the only sound that clouded his mind. The agonizing shout that his enemies cried never did disturbed him nor would the cries of his allies ever influence him, standing behind the lady in red, Zed's eyes continue to watch her flickering silhouette as if she was the only person that existed before his view.
On top of her long raven hair, a golden crown resided. Faint hollow light emitted by them, and an overbearing aura erupted within. For every five seconds she worn that golden crown, her will, her pride, and her overbearing aura would sweep the land and make the weak willed submit to her charisma.
Many had fallen and had long since buried under someone else corpses from just her golden crown. And unaware when did it happen, the lady in red had appeared before Zed's eyes. Her hand carried her still bloodied sword on his neck, but for reason or another, she pushed no further.
"Why aren't you fighting?" her cold prideful words resounded within Zed, or more precisely his soul, but as if expecting such question, the latter parted his shoulder and looked around him.
"All were dead. My allies killed by yours, and so did yours killed by mine." he said nonchalantly, looking at the corpses of his allies that stir nothing within him, before shifting his gaze back toward the lady in red who, had arched her eyebrows in a frown.
"Truth be told we had no enmity with one another. Since so, why not left bygone be bygone and we will when our separate way?" he suggested, while the lady in red looked into his golden hues, trying to find fault- she found none in it.
What resided there was only a boundless abyss. Unable to be known by her eyes, even if she tried her best to see through him. However, that still doesn't mean that she would trust a stranger like him, more than that, she become vigilant of his nonchalance. Even more, when a sudden myriad of star appeared within his hues.
But seeing through her thought, Zed let out a mild chuckle. Taping her bloody sword with one of his finger, it turned them to dust before her bewildered gaze. Almost immediately, she leaped away from the latter, taking out another sword from her storage ring and eyed Zed as if he was a monster.
"Relax... I just wished to show you our different in strength. And truth be told, I can help you become stronger... but in return, that technique of your's, allowed me to learn from you as well," he replied without hiding a single thing, after all, attracted toward her unique technique more than her beautiful features, it would be a lie that a shadow like him wouldn't tried to cultivate it.
"You're that Shadow?" the lady in red asked while Zed nodded. And knowing him full well through the report she got from her sect's elders; the fact that he was a freak without a constant form of cultivation, and that he like to learn more contradict stuff and implement them into his own cultivation technique. Her expression loosened quite a bit and she return her sword back to her storage ring.
"So... do we have a deal?" to his surprise, the lady in red shook her head lightly. And out of nowhere, a sudden pressure appeared behind him, locking on his figure and blasted him with a cold powerful force.
"Things like the seven deadly sins can't easily be cultivate by mere human. Even among devil, only those with pure blood was able to cultivate them. To yearn for these power as a mere human, a mortal at that, you're quite the ambitious one. So show me, tell me, give me, and prove me wrong, Shadow..." her words resounded in his ears and his consciousness was brought toward a place he never been before. Unable to react nor show any retaliation, he resided within and beared fruit that surprised the lady in red a few years later.
To whom, Zed realize was actually not a human, but a devil instead. And as if the revelation brought upon a new chapter on Tiny World, the underworld arc started and the world turn messy. Or more precisely, it broaden his wisdom and knowledge of these world, allowing him to see more of what happening in the surface as well as behind the scene.
But even so, it was still a fun and wondrous journey. The lady in red brought him all over the places that he never been before and let him learn more about thing that he was interested in. To Zed, the lady in red was like a walking library, though prideful she was, never once did she resisted in answering his question.
Unknown to Zed, as his thought run wild in reminiscence, now seven pairs of eyes watched his gleeful expression with a frown on their face. Daisy and Yui who know him better seem to get a gist of what he was recalling, the four was worried for reason or another, while the last, looked at Zed with annoyance clearly embedded within her prideful cold glint.
"Hey, I'm talking to you-," having no patient unlike the others, she got annoyed and speak out, but before she was able to finish her words. The latter regretted on her action as the remaining six shifted their scornful look on her entirety.
If look could kill, she might had died a thousand time over. Even if their cultivation base was meager in her eyes, the pressure of an angry women still brought a chill down her spine. However, before thing turn even more out of control, Zed who's was brought back to reality by the girl's words, coughed up lightly to attracted all attention.
"Sorry for the sudden disturbance," he said and shifted his gaze outside of the chamber, looking at the city wall which seem to be failing anytime soon, before continued, "First and foremost, let shifted our 'meeting' place. Five minutes or less, the siege would come to an end, and the city would be a goner."
Barely did the words processed by those around him, the violet hues on his ring brimmed in attention. And quicker than the violet mist before, a blue space vortex appeared underneath their feet. Unable to react and not that they needed to, their figure distorted and disappeared, leaving the lonely chamber behind that still permeated with fragrant smell behind.
