Chapter 36 - Chapter 10 Display of Power

In the ancient sand dunes lie the remnants of abandoned spacecraft from interstellar travels spanning thousands of years, constituting the primary source of Tatooine's machinery. Moisture Farm's farmers depend on Jawa-provided recycled machinery to sustain their agricultural produce.

Tatooine, a planet built upon debris and misconduct, where Jabba the Hutt's crime syndicate and Moisture Farm's trading circle comprise its entire social fabric. This remote, desolate world, paradoxically, holds sway over the galactic order.

The largest source of second-hand repair shop established by Chen Ang is this desert landscape, supplied with parts and supplies by the sluggish and simple-minded Jawas. For Chen Ang, this uncharted territory is a mystical treasure trove.

Countless technological relics lay buried under these dunes, remnants from hundreds of civilizations, boasting a dazzling array of incredible technology. Anti-gravity engines abound, available at inexpensive rates.

Among the treasures scavenged on Tatooine, a Gravity Well Projector, with space-propelling capabilities akin to a planet's gravity, holds a magnetic allure for Chen Ang.

"Teacher, over here!" Anakin floated a red electronic eye before him. Balancing precariously on the silver plate, he pointed to a fuzzy red dot on the electronic eye's screen.

This archaic electronic eye, often used in dated robots, rivals Earth's large radar and sonar systems, boasting superior accuracy. Adapted by Chen Ang for uncovering buried items, it sifts through sand, ensuring valuable items remain hidden.

A snake-like mechanical appendage flexed twice before plunging into the sand. Within moments, it retrieved worn metal parts, arching out of the sand and delivering them to Chen Ang.

"Yes, it's an electromagnetic flow assist engine, probably from the wrecked ship," Chen Ang noted, a hint of surprise in his voice.

"Teacher, will you use it to finish the armor? The red one in your room?" Anakin remembered the pile of materials in Chen Ang's quarters.

Frowning, Chen Ang reflected on the steel armor he impulsively imitated. It failed to meet his expectations; after its completion, he realized it hindered his movement, lacked defensive capabilities, and was inferior to flying robots in terms of strength and anti-strike abilities.

With limited protective attributes against high temperatures, electromagnetic forces, and energy-based weapons, it fell short of being reliable. Unless an energy shield was integrated, its protective capacity was negligible. But even with such an enhancement, the armor hindered agility, serving little purpose compared to flexible combat robots.

This notion didn't deter Anakin, captivated by its impressive design, treating it as a grand toy.

"Anakin, Jedi don't use armor," Chen Ang redirected the kid's attention, mentioning the Jedi's unique practices.

Upon hearing the word "Jedi," Anakin discarded the steel armor. His childhood dream reignited, echoing his desire to become a Jedi and liberate Tatooine's slaves.

Excitedly clasping the black handle to his waist, reminiscent of a Lightsaber, Anakin's enthusiasm soared.

"Anakin, fly higher!" Chen Ang's expression darkened. He commanded the silver disc to ascend rapidly, alerting Anakin. Dozens of heavily robed and masked Sand People riding Bantha beasts materialized, rapidly closing in on them.

"No!" Anakin cried out atop the silver plate, struggling to escape the gravitational beam. Sand People were scavenger's nightmares, known for torturing and killing outsiders to plunder their wealth and display their martial prowess.

These shrouded beings, wielding gaderffii with bladed superalloy heads capable of tearing through spaceship decks, posed an invincible threat, armed with weapons forged from the toughest spaceship alloys, often sourced from spaceship wreckage.

Chen Ang remained composed, his expression indifferent as he stood amidst the surrounding Sand People.

From a distance, a Sand Person aimed a shot at the silver disc suspended in the sky. Chen Ang calculated the projectile rifle's range, ensuring it fell short of reaching the distant and aloof silver disc. Another Sand Person, mounted atop a Sand Beast, lunged forward, wielding a lethal alloy rod aimed at Chen Ang's head.

In a swift move, a white light blade descended, wrapping around Chen Ang's figure. The electric charge of the ion blade cut through the superalloy rod with a faint current, severing the Sand Person's head from their body.

Enraged, another Sand Person yanked the reins of their Bansha beast, sliding down from the saddle and advancing toward Chen Ang. The first one charged, wielding an alloy rod and attempting a forceful strike to Chen Ang's head.

However, Chen Ang swiftly maneuvered, positioning the light blade between himself and the Sand Person. The Sand Person lunged towards the blade, meeting a similar fate as their predecessor, the alloy rod slicing through the air before disappearing into the sand.

Sand People possess a unique physique granting them formidable strength. They scale cliffs, jump between rocks, and craft rock caves by hand. They are renowned as Tatooine's most fearsome attackers.

Under Chen Ang's prowess, their resilient bodies proved as fragile as tofu. Their rubbery skin, once impenetrable, parted effortlessly under the light blade's edge.

Despite losing companions, the Sand People, instead of being deterred, gathered, matching each other's movements, banging their alloy rods, chanting unknown songs. Their intention was to psychologically unnerve Chen Ang.

"Such a racket," Chen Ang remarked, gently swaying the blade as he observed the Sand People. "In the wasteland, strength reigns supreme! Isn't that the law of survival on Tatooine?"

With eerie agility, Chen Ang danced, wielding the blade skillfully. As Sand People lunged at him, he swiftly countered their attacks, slicing through them with precision. The high-energy light blade sliced through their bodies, ending their lives without a drop of blood spilled.

Dozens more Sand People charged, wielding electric lights from their metal rods. Chen Ang's nimble maneuvers allowed him to expertly counter their assaults. His light blade sliced through their weapons and bodies, swiftly eliminating each attacker.

The Sand People, known for their agility and hunting skills, were no match for Chen Ang's lightning-fast strikes. With a technique reminiscent of Mount Heng's swordsmanship, Chen Ang swiftly incapacitated several Sand People, their heads severed in a series of swift movements.

As nine heads fell to the ground, Anakin watched in awe. Chen Ang, resembling a god of destruction, displayed incredible skill with his swordsmanship. Anakin was captivated, his eyes reflecting both awe and excitement at Chen Ang's prowess.
