This was a theater-style auditorium, with gold and red tones, three red carpets laid down the steps, and hundreds of chairs arranged in the massive meeting space, more than a third of which were empty. People whispered to each other, seemingly in discussion about something, but the entire hall was eerily quiet, without the slightest sound.
In the central hall of the third floor, the first thing that caught the eye was an imposing painting, created with mineral pigments in shades of blue and black. The mountains in the painting were shrouded in mist, with the Great Wall snaking into the distance.
