Jax was in the middle of practicing and deadly new sword technique. The premise was something that he saw in a manga. The sword strikes and he infuses his ice power to pierce the cut further and then infuses his sound power to split the organs and or meridians open disabling the target. He mastered an skill that allowed him to send our sound waves that penetrate the body allowing him to see the meridians on any enemy, at the cost of it being very taxing on his body. He could only use it for a few seconds.
His goal was to apply the new technique in the time the skill was activated. Allowing him to see the points he needed to strike. As he struck close to the time he needed he would start to lose the sight given by the skill. Frustrated he dropped down slamming the sword into the ground. Shea walked up behind him and draped her body over him with her arms around him and her head on his shoulder.
"What's wrong Jax?"
"Nothing Is wrong Shea."
Well should we finally set out?"
Yeah we should, everyone else left along time ago. My brother left a year and a half ago with everyone and went into the Beast lands."
Why did you not want to go with them then?"
"Because Cam told me not too and I would cause a death to one of them if I went with them but last week he said to go but to train before I set out and I needed to go before the end of the cycle."
"But the cycle ends in two days."
"Yeah I know."
"And you didn't tell me?"
"Well I didn't want you to get hurt."
"Your the only one getting hurt for not telling me." Shea said as she dug her knuckle into his hair twisting it and messing his hair up.
"Owww." Jax said as he put his right hand around Shea's waist and putting his right leg behind her right leg and then he fell back bringing her with him. He landing underneath Shea. Perfectly planned.
"This way?" Jax said grabbing her waist and rolling. Putting him on top.
"Or this way?" Jax said seeing Shea's face turning bright red.
"Both." Shea shamelessly whispered into his ear.
Hearing a rustle in the distance Jax spun grabbed his sword and slashed at the nearby tree. The branches shook dropping Alra, Asam, Shun and Prin.
"Well you boys won he is a good swordsman, and we won because he is a good husband." Prin said giving Jax a thumbs up
"Good form." Shun said
"Good theory about the sword skill but not very efficient. It takes too long." Alra said walking over and motion for Jax to give him the sword.
Alra coated the sword with demonic and shadow energy.
"Since you can only control 2 energies right now I'll just use two same as you." Alra said slashing the tree leaving marks of hellfire and black flames.
