Noticing that the fox was gone the Coyote felt the power of the fourth floor change. The Coyote set out on a rampage killing everyone around the cave where the Coyote lived. Blood and rotting flesh was covering about a 1/20th of the floor making some of the major rivers run red and the ground was soaked in blood. The Coyote rushed to the Palace of Spiro the Fool.
The Coyote had hated the fox which represented light while he represented darkness. Eternal rivals vying for the floor guardian role. After the original floor guardian a rank 10 Celestial magical beast only known as the Wrath of Polis the god of the earth. When the beast was called back to Polis, it left its guardian position. The fox and Coyote fought for 100 years before reaching a standstill. Both agreed not to interfere with the other. The Fox ruled the eastern lands where the Palace was. The Coyote ruled the West where the fifth floor door was with the elevator in the center. Unlike the guardian beasts in the lower three floors who could only kill on accident unless someone was near the elevator who didn't have the access to the elevator,the fourth to the ninth floor guardians were allowed to hunt challengers and kill them.
The Coyote could only kill in the west but now he can kill in the east. He ran into some challenger who were of the 7th rank Celestial Physical ranking so they were only slightly weaker then the Coyote. The Coyote ran into a pair of challengers, one was a bull eagle and the other was a lion snake. Realizing that there was no other way then to fight the confrontation turned into a free for all not allowing the Coyote to flee. Both the snake and the eagle lashed at each other and fighting the Coyote.
The snake bit into the Coyote as the eagle rushed and crashed into the Coyote with its bull horns. The Coyote tried to escape into the shadows but the poison for the lion snake started to paralyze the Coyote. Seeing that the Coyote could not fight the bull eagle and the lion snake battled it out for the right to kill the Coyote and secure the position of guardian beast of the fourth floor.
The lion snake hissed and showed it's scale mane like a lion showing off their mane. The bull eagle screeched and roared. The two clashes rushing at each other. The bull eagle rushed head first charging at the snake.the snake swiftly wrapped around the body of the bull and bit into the bull and the beast slowly weakened over time. The pair clashed and clawed at each other, as the pair fought the Lion snake slowly gained the advantage. Although the bull eagle was violent and rampaging it seemed it didn't have the intelligence of the lion snake. The snake clawed and bit the bull eagle and the bull eagle tried to escape and flee form the clutches of the lion snake.
Slowly regaining control over its body the Coyote started to get up and saw the bull eagle dying and saw the lion snake in not thay much better condition. Realizing that it could not defeat both of the beast by himself saw this as the perfect opportunity to try to kill the lion snake. Stealthy slipping into the shadows the Coyote was creeping up on the Lion snake she was confused and concerned about the missing Coyote. Quickly rising form the shadows the Coyote jumped up like a shark jumping from the water and latched onto the neck of the lion snake sinking its teeth into the flesh where the bull eagle removed the scales from. The Lion snake died with a silent kill form the Coyote who had the skills and knowledge of assassins. Then the Coyote rushed to the palace of Spiro since that was the last place he could sense the Starry fox's presence from quickly moving in on An Hue's location.
